About: Life long animal lover. Cat owner since Elementary school. Currently have 3. All different breeds. I have experience with dogs too as I used to have 2 Labs. I often dog sit for my friends on weekends so figured I'd give this a go as well. Love meeting new pets I have lots of free time on the weekends and love going on walks whether its hot or cold. Most evenings in my work week are free. Pretty flexible if there are some pop up opportunities. I just love hanging out with animals in my free time. Cat wise: I am very careful to not let any cats out of the house. I know some can be escape artists. Lots of practice there. I will sit patiently for more timid cats to warm up to me. I typically won't pick them up at first or pet their bellies. I usually get my friends cats to warm up to me quickly and get them playing soon enough. Will cater to the cats that like drinking from the faucet too. Dog wise: I am ready to meet their energy and go on some fun walks. Will even be down to jog with them if they have a lot of energy. I'm cautious about food allergies so I will make sure I only give treats that are allowed and be patient to make sure they go to the bathroom during our visit. They will get all the pets they need!

About: Hi! I’ve grown up with animals my whole life and have always had a passion for them. I’m so passionate, in fact, that I’m in my gap year before I start veterinary school next year! I have fostered over 20 dogs, so I am familiar and comfortable with a variety of breeds, sizes, and ages. I am currently the mom to a 1 year old dog and a senior dog, so I have first hand experience on the different needs and requirements for a happy and healthy dog! Additionally, I have personal experience in beginner puppy training, senior care, and handling reactive dogs. I am available 7 days a week at all hours. I just moved to Jacksonville a few weeks ago so am hoping Rover can help me meet some furry friends and create forever bonds! As a dog mom, I know first hand the anxiety that comes with having someone watch your pets, so I make sure to provide plenty of pictures, videos, and updates. I am very active and love to be outside so I can take your dog on as many (or as few) walks/runs as they want! Or if your dog isn’t active, we can chill in the AC! Due to my flexible schedule, I can provide both dog walking services and house sitting services (as well as overnight visits if needed)! My schedule allows for me to make your dogs comfort and safety my #1 priority! Due to having a reactive dog myself, I do not allow your animals in my own home for your dog’s safety and comfort! I am very tidy and organized, so I will treat your home with respect, and leave it cleaner than I found it!

About: Animals have always been a huge part of my life. I care for every pet like they’re my own. I’m attentive, gentle, communicative and genuinely love bonding with each animals unique personality whether it’s a long walk, quiet companionship, or playful energy I adapt to what your pet needs most. I also respect your space routines, making every visit, smooth and stress free. I currently have a part-time job with a flexible schedule, which gives me plenty of availability during weekdays and weekends for pet care. I am able to prioritize walks drop ins and sitting throughout the day and I enjoy building a consistent routine with each pet I care for whether it’s morning walks midday, check-in or overnight stays. I can easily work pet care into my daily flow. I know how important it is for pets to feel safe and comfortable in their own space when I care for pets at your home. I do my best to stick to their usual routines so things feel familiar and easy for them. I’ll treat your home with care and your pet like family whether that means extra cuddles, sticking to their favorite walking route or just keeping them company while you’re away

“Kristie looked after out pit-mix and cat for a weekend and was fantastic. She was gracious and asked great questions during our initial meet and greet. She gave us updates and pics throughout the weekend. She was such a calm presence for our animals while we were away. Our home was clean and looked great, when we returned. We would definitely rebook with her. Thank you Kristie!”

“Dawson is awesome! He is super polite and responsible and did a great job both dog sitting and house sitting. Our dog loved being with him and he was super communicative with me if he had questions or if I had any questions. I would absolutely recommend him.”

About: I've taken care of numerous animals over the years & done everything from deep cleaning them in the bath to wrapping a kitty burrito to clip their claws! In recent years I've taken care of my senior dog, walking her up to 10 times a day and cleaning up after her when her stomach is acting up. It's hard work but worth it when you have a companion for life! I also recently raised my kitten from a month old, staying up late nights to train him on solid foods, using a litter box, and keeping him comfortable! I'd love to get some extra animal time in caring for your little ones! I am currently working part time with plenty of time for your pets! With an inconsistent work schedule, Tuesdays are my only promised full day off but I have time in the week for Drop-ins, walks and occasional overnight stays! I will treat your pet as if they are my own! Walks, rubs, and play time will be ample and your animals needs will be my priority. I am able to do walks multiple times a day and keep a calm, comfortable environment while you are gone!

About: I've been surrounded by dogs my entire life since I was 8 years old. My first ever dog was a shihtzu named Dexter. I've cared for my cousin's 2 dogs (Rottweiler and Great dane. Ive also taken care of a kitten newborn for 4 month as well. I would say that I have a variety of experience from working with small and larger dogs. Im dependable and can follow any specific instructions (if any). I have a very open schedule so if you or your pet need me in a moments notice I can be there! Im currently a part time student at Jacksonville University with a lot of time on my hands and one class im working on during this summer break. So my availability is very open. I can adapt to each animal's specific needs when taking care of animals in clients' homes. If the animal is more active I'm more than happy to play with them indoors or outdoors (depending on the owner's preference). This also applies vice versa. I'm able to take the dog out for plenty of potty breaks and can accommodate to your animal's needs.

About: Hey guys! My name is Kayley, I am originally from TN, moved to FL in 2023. I have a ton of animal experience. For many years, I did house sitting for quite a few people for quite a range of animals. I have watched horses, dogs, cats, pigs, llamas, alpacas, goats, chickens, ducks, pretty much any livestock animal you can think of. I have also worked at a doggy daycare and took dog handling classes (which also includes animal behavior classes). I am in Pet First Aid classes through Red Cross right now so I can be certified in that too. I have done a lot of pet first aid for my animals, animals on the streets and animals of friends/neighbors. The few places I have lived people would bring strays or their own animals to me and my roommate so we can evaluate the animals to assist in any way possible. I am NOT certified in anything, this is just knowledge I have from growing up in TN around all the farms I have worked on. I have taken quite a few animals off of the streets and either kept them or got them in with reputable rescues. **Please be aware, I do work full time. Generally I am off on most weekends, other days I will either work 8-5 or 9-6 so I will be able to care for animals outside of that timeframe. I do have a roommate as well (she is also a Rover sitter) so if your animal stays with me or comes to my home, my roommate is also here and can assist as well. Generally at least one of us are home, if we happen to both be out, it is one of us at work and the other headed home from work or we are running a quick errand. I also do have a vet reference that I am happy to share as well, we are well known at our vets office for our animals we take in from the streets and my dog with her health issues. (I do not have any animals from the streets in my home right now so no worries with sickness or anything, all of my animals are UTD on their vaccines.) **If you have multiple (more than 3) animals, please reach out and we can negotiate a price on the stay. I am a full time worker and I am also a part time (online) student. I have availability every day of the week, I can stay at your home or come to your home before and after my day job. I am able to care for animals in my home or in yours. I am open to anything that you normally do on a daily basis with your animals as to not cause a huge disruption to their daily schedule.

“HIGHLY recommended!! I was SO nervous leaving my dog, Penny, with a person she had never met before. I was blown away with how smooth the entire process went. From Megan’s punctual arrival to her calm and loving demeanor with Penny right off the bat, she was an absolute pleasure to work with. She sent pictures and updates to keep me assured my baby was comfortable and safe. I can’t recommend Megan enough!”

Alyssa M.
“Alyssa lives in my apartment complex and I met her through Ada, the dog she is fostering. Ada was on her leash, about 15 feet away, begging for my attention so I asked if I could pet her. Alyssa said yes and explained that Ada is hyper-reactive, but I still thought she was an adorable dog. After talking with Alyssa over the last few months and having Ada stay at my apartment a few times, I could see how well Alyssa cared for her and trained her. Ada behaves so much better on the leash now, you almost wouldn't even notice her walking by you on the sidewalk. Alyssa even wrote detailed instructions on shampooing Ada's feet hahaha”

“Emily was a great sitter and helped me a ton with my dog! Great communication great job and I’d absolutely rebook/recommend her services.”

“Destiny, a warm and bubbly soul, is the person you want watching your animal. She will care for them as if they were her own, give them all the love and attention they need and provide a sense of comfort knowing someone so trustworthy is looking after your pet. I would trust her with any of my sweet animal babies, anytime. She understands the depth and love people hold for their animals, having experienced that love many times in her life.”

Alyssa P.
“I would highly recommend Alyssa for the position of dog caregiver. Alyssa is an extremely responsible person and I consider her one of the most trustworthy young people that I know. This is illustrated by the fact that my wife and I allow her unfettered access to our residence when we are not there. Over the past five years has spent countless hours at my residence interacting with my 13 yr old chocolate lab and she has shown herself to be a compassionate dog lover.”

Kayley L.
“Kayley lives for the animals. All she wants to do is make sure they are happy, healthy, and safe. Honestly the animals in her home are probably taken care of before she takes care of herself.”
