About: I've raised a beloved 16-year old mutt of my own in addition to having 10+ years' experience fostering and volunteering with dog rescue organizations. Throughout fostering and pet sitting, I've hosted pups of all ages, sizes, and abilities (e.g., blind, tripod, recovering from surgeries, etc.) and have training in dog behavior and socialization. Awarded "Foster Home of the Year" in 2016 by renowned Chicago animal rescue One Tail at a Time. ***July 2026: Rover recently DOUBLED the cut they take from my bookings so I had to raise my rates. As a long-time single pet owner myself, I've always tried to keep my rates approachable. Please get in touch if cost is a barrier, I can make adjustments on case by case basis. I will still only accept one boarding/daycare booking at a time, not about to start warehousing dogs that don't know each other to make up the difference!*** As of April 2026, I am on sabbatical from my day job so I am wide open for pet sitting! My partner Ryan works full time out of the house but he may also be present (dogs love him). I am a homebody and happy to stay in and snuggle with dogs that have separation anxiety and/or don't do well in public settings. My own dog is old and very used to having other dogs around if yours would like a buddy while you're away (a lot of solo dogs benefit from this!) For housesitting, no other human or pet will enter your home without your express permission.

About: I’ve been a dedicated dog mom for 6 years and have experience caring for dogs through all kinds of situations — from energetic puppy stages to recovery days that require extra patience, comfort, and attention. I understand how important trust is when leaving your pet with someone, and I’ll care for them like family. Pet care is already a big part of my daily life. My days naturally revolve around walks, playtime, feeding schedules, outdoor time, and making sure pets feel safe, comfortable, and loved. I genuinely enjoy spending time with animals, whether that’s going on walks, relaxing together, or giving extra attention when they need comfort and patience. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I do my best to keep their routine as normal and stress-free as possible. About: I have had animals all my life, especially dogs amongst a few small pets. I have two dogs myself and I am training all of them with basic commands. I have 5 years of experience in training American pitbulls mixes to have as pets around children and other small animals. Something that sets me apart from others is that I recognize dogs and cats behavior such as signs of discomfort. I have personal experience with raising and caring for dogs of all sizes. I want animals to be comfortable, safe, and healthy. This may be disconcerting for owners that expect their pet to have free roam. I would expect multiple walks and sleeping in their dog beds considering the pets disposition as well as updates about pet stay. For house sitting, I will be willing to adjust prices if my own dogs are allowed to accompany me (not required). I am currently doing delivery services such as Grubhub and Doordash so I set the times I work. I have a flexible schedule and do not leave my home very often. I have 2 small dogs that are playful and dog friendly. I do not have a fenced yard, but I do use the long tie out leashes and outdoor playpens. I recently made a potty area for my dogs. I clean and disinfect it multiple times a week with natural products.

About: I enjoy spending time caring for animals, especially dogs. I love going on walks, playing, and making sure pets feel happy, comfortable, and well cared for while you’re away! I’m currently a college student at Indiana University Northwest, and with summer here I have a much more flexible schedule. While I do work a part time job, I’m still able to make multiple visits throughout the day to give your pup plenty of attention, care, walks, and playtime! I provide a safe and caring environment whether your dog stays in my home or I care for them in yours. I have a fenced yard for safe outdoor time, and dogs will always be leashed on walks. I’ll make sure your pup stays on their routine with fresh food and water, regular potty breaks, exercise, playtime, and plenty of attention!

About: I have had a lot of experience since my teens and I continue to have a constant bond with animals. My newest edition is a Bern doodle. I have a wonderful home for your fur babies and sometimes watch my fur grandbabies also . So they can have interaction with them and me . About: I have taken care of animals my whole life. Family and friends have relied on me for decades to take care of their animals. Growing up on a farm helped give me a lifelong affinity for animals. I’m a teacher who is off all summer. I have plenty of time to fill and would love to look after your animals, either in my home, as a drop in, or just a walk. I have a fenced in backyard, two amazing labs who love other dogs, and a wife and daughter who love dogs as much as I do.

About: I love all animals, but especially dogs. I recently lost my first dog, mango, a little over a year ago. Spending time with other dogs is a gift to me because I love to me reminded of her through other dogs. I also have skills administering diabetes shots to senior dogs. I am currently a student, but am able to walk and check-in on M/W anytime before 1pm or after 4. I am also free on Fridays & Weekends for walks and check-ins. About: I have always had a natural, unconditional love for animals. My family has always had pets! Since I was little, I've had three cats and three dogs. Each of our pets have had different personalities and needs, but it has always been easy to love them the same. I recently have raised my own two pets, Louis and Marie, and I have loved learning how they both tick in their own ways. I trained Louis from the day I brought him home, as I’ve had him since he was an itty bitty puppy. Since he is a dachshund, I have made preventive care outside of the vet’s office a priority through teeth brushing, daily walks, proper food portioning, and using dog stairs to make sure his joints are safe and healthy. With Marie, I have made socialization a priority so she feels comfortable everywhere she goes. I call her the Master Adjuster for this reason! I am also beginning to incorporate dental care into her needs. Having pets of my own, making sure animals are properly cared for is second nature for me. I am always conscious about crate time for my dog, as I want to make sure he is getting as much enrichment activity in. At the same time, I know he also needs time to relax and recharge. In terms of daily routine, my pets’ needs are attended to before mine are. They are fed and taken outside before I even brush my teeth, and at the end of the day, they are made ready before I start decompressing. I know many pets that need lots of time for activity as well as affection! Getting to know a pet’s personality as well as their needs is my favorite part about caring for them. Being aware of when a dog may need to go for a walk to get some energy out, knowing when they need to go outside, and being aware of when they just want to chill out is super important! The same can be said for cats—sometimes they need a lot of time to let out energy or exercise, and other times, they need to be alone.

About: Hello, I'm Katie! I helped my mom run a cat rescue for over 8 years (that includes waking up every 2 hours to bottle feed, giving medication, handling moody kitties, cleaning up constant messes, etc). Since then, I've been trusted to pet sit for friends, coworkers, and family members. I have more experience house sitting with cats than dogs, but I love all pets equally and would be so happy to meet them! I offer overnight stays/house sitting, drop-ins, and dog walking. About: I have been around all types of animals since I could remember. I have experience working at a vet clinic as a kennel attendant. And is my current full time job! I Also have years experience working and training with horses and all farm animals! I’m currently enrolled in school in becoming a certified vet tech! I’m currently doing online school to be a Vet Tech which I work at my own pace and time so my availability is very open and it’s very easing for me to work around/ and on top of my work schedule at the clinic. About: I’ve had lots of animals throughout my life and I have been told I am a dog whisperer. We have one cat at home because we live in a small apartment so it makes me miss having dogs even more. I am a full time student at Purdue University but I have pretty flexibility week day hours. I also am usually free on the weekends! When it comes to watching other people’s pet baby’s I am extremely cautious and want to ensure their health and safety above all else. I know how hard it is to leave your beloved in another’s care but I do my best to keep them occupied and happy while you’re away.

About: I’ve had dogs my whole life! Taking care of them is a passion I didn’t realize I had until I had my own house and didn’t have one to care for! So I quickly changed that and have a dog I care for daily. For drop in visits I am available before 830am and after 1. During that time I am in school with my kids. I am a home maker. I spend most of my daily hours home schooling my kids and taking care of my dog! Our home is filled with love and laughter. The care I provide is the same care I would expect one to treat their dogs with! Dogs are not just simply pets but family members and should be treated as so!
