About: I’ve always wanted a dog as a kid but my parents did not want to take care of it. Now that I’m an adult I love taking care of my dog, coco. He is a large dog and very active. He enjoys walking, playing, and getting belly rubs. I would do the same to the dogs I take care of as if it was my own. I also took care of 4 small dogs at a time for 5 years. Training, playing, feeding, and walking. I’m currently have a full time job so my availability will be right after 5pm. During weekends I’m usually available. Occasionally I have family events, but I can accommodate. I always check up on my dogs when I get home. I have an automated feeder and I created a dog door for them to come and go as they please. During the night I usually have them go into their homes to rest. But usually they free roam.

“We made our booking on very short notice and Eve was kind enough to accept. We are very grateful for her daily Rover report on our sweet Jenna as well as it seemed she even made her a puzzle that I had briefly mentioned that I would make ahead of time but was not able to as time got away from me. Thank you, Eve!”

“Taylor and Brian were lovely and did daily drop ins with my two cats. They spent plenty of time loving and playing with the cats. I got daily updates on how the cats were fairing and anything that seemed amiss. I definitely trust them with invested and true caring of pets.”
“Kimberly was super wonderful! We had to book last second after someone had canceled on us. She was able to come meet our boy. She kept us up to date on how he was doing and went above and beyond with taking care of him. Will definitely be using her as a sitter for our boy again!”

“Thank you!! Toni. We had such a nice short visit with Family, And you made it all good for My Fanci. I trust your Loyalty and you have that mother wit. :-) And animals can feel it. (-: and for your Kindness. Gayle and Claus Knudsen”

About: I have been surrounded by animals since I was just 2 years old, making pet care second nature to me. Over a lifetime of ownership, I have raised everything from dogs and cats to chickens, bunnies, a hamster, and a chameleon. My hands-on experience also includes years of fostering cats and dogs, as well as taking in strays and nursing them back to health. This diverse background has made me highly adaptable to different behaviors, medical needs, and pet personalities. I am an incredibly compassionate, loving person dedicated to a future of helping animals, and I will treat your pets with the exact same deep care and devotion I give my own. Pet care is my absolute top priority, and because I am completely free all the time, I can fully devote 100% of my attention to your pet. My highly flexible schedule means I am available throughout the day and week for consistent feeding, exercise, and companionship. Your pet will never feel lonely, as I am always around to keep them company, maintain their exact daily routines, and ensure they get the dedicated love they deserve I build deep trust with animals by treating them like family and giving them a spoiled, loving environment where they can thrive. My home features a fully fenced yard where pets can safely run, play, and burn off energy. Pets naturally bond with me; my childhood dog used to sleep right above my head and sit at my feet whenever I was at my desk. Whether caring for them in my home or yours, I maintain this exact level of safety, deep devotion, and respect. I strictly follow your specific safety rules, keep environments clean, and will send you frequent photo updates so you always have total peace of mind.

About: Thank you for reviewing my profile! I am unable to edit, but my preferred name is Astro. I am a 23-year-old ag-business student with a minor in animal science. I am unavailable from 8a-12pm on weekdays, but I am available at any other time to take care of any pets you may have. I have a passion for animals because I enjoy giving them love, just as they give love back to us. This June 2026, I have cared for my former professor's 2 dogs, cat, and goat for two different weeks. I will be housesitting for her this June 21-28, so I will only have availability for walks and drop-ins at this time. I make sure to give all animals extra love while their owners are away. If no walks are bought for housesits, I will give one walk per stay, and if my schedule allows, I'll provide additional. I am comfortable with farm animals as well, if you need care and feeding for them. My pet background: I have 2 years of experience as a kennel attendant: sanitizing kennels, taking dogs for walks, feeding, and medicating both dogs and cats. I also have a few months of experience as a vet assistant: restraining animals for vaccines and nail trims. I currently have a 5-year-old chihuahua and a 4-year-old domestic shorthair cat. My chihuahua has seizures and requires a specific feeding and medication schedule, so I can easily adapt to your pets if they have additional needs. Since I was 12, I would adopt rabbits from the flea market and take care of them until I was in high school. I adopted my chihuahua as a one-month-old in 2020, and have been taking care of her ever since. My passion for animals led me to earn my AA in Animal Science, and expanded my interest in caring for farm animals as well. Animals make me happy, and after my kennel attendant job ended, I decided to try Rover out to continue working in the field I enjoy! June 21-28 I am booked for housesittng, but available for drop-ins and walks. My earliest availability starts 1:30pm on Monday thru Thursdays as I work 8a-12p. Fridays I work 10a-2/6pm so I can drop in before 9a or after 2/6pm. House-Sitting information: I am unavailable to provide services in my home, but I am available for house-sitting in your home on weekends. I have taken care of my former professor's 2 dogs in her home while she has been away a week + weekends, along with her two outside pets of a cat and goat. On weekdays, I can house-sit, but I will be in and out for personal, child, or pet errands. I'd like to note that on weekends, I will need to feed and give potty breaks for my own pets at home, but will return to your pets once finished. In my client's home, I treat it with the same respect as I would in my own home. I also make sure to keep it clean and organized as the owner has left it. I don't wish to make my client's uncomfortable, so I will make sure to ask before doing anything that wasn't previously discussed. For house-sitting, I provide basic cleaning before leaving your home (sweeping and mopping the floors).
About: Babysat for both animals and children, also work as a Pediatric Medical assistant, love to take them out with me especially on my nightly walks and get all our energy out of our system. I am pretty open since I only work three days a week randomly. Just let me know what days you need and we can coordinate. I live in a 2 story house soon moving to a 1 floor house with a huge grass backyard and a huge fence. I’m very big on building a trust system with the animals I babysit especially once with a bad background. They free roam in my bedroom living room and backyard. I go on 30mins- 1 hour walks normally. I love playing games as well with them as well and take them to meet my friends pets too.
About: I love to go on walks, Long or Short. I will honor your request and make sure they get the best of care. I've had tons of experience caring for my own family's & close friends pets. I currently do not have any pets of my own, so it will be one on one with your fur babies. I'm retired. I go to yoga Mon - Thurs 9-10 am. I help with the care of my 96 year old mother. My schedule is pretty flexible & I'm available on weekends. I have plenty of time to walk and/or visit your fur baby/babies. When in your home I will respect like it was my Grandmas. I will keep to their schedules. Keep a clean environment. Always love on those fur babies
“Kirsten is always professional, reliable, and kind. She never hesitates to communicate and ask questions if necessary. We have used her before for housesitting and this visit was drop in only. As always, she was wonderful and we know this because our dogs don't even get up when we get home. They're so chill after she leaves. It's a blessing to have her and feel that our pups are happy with her.”

“Jessika is so great with my puppy! She kept him company during the day while I was at work, and she also started teaching him some commands. She gave me plenty of updates after every visit as well as gave advice on how to feed him and train him.”

“Kaitlyn did a great job taking care of my cats. She made sure the litter and room was clean, and she always sent a picture. Im grateful she was able to come during the busy holiday season to check on them.”

About: After a wonderful 15 years loving and caring for my own furry son I am starting to miss the companionship of a four legged friend. I do not yet have professional experience taking care of pets however, I have taken care of countless friends and families own pets. Paying attention to detail on the ins and outs of each dog’s own needs. I am flexible, energetic, and excited to work with you and your pet. I am a primary school teacher on summer break so my current schedule is all freed up. I am available to walk, sit, and play when needed! I am a clear and open communicator. Easy to reach and quick to respond. With information on your pup and their needs I can readily provide those necessities. I am not afraid to ask any questions that might arise and absolutely love sending pictures and videos with updates.

About: Animal care has always been a passion of mine. Currently taking care of a pack of French Bulldogs Growing up I had 5-6 dogs I was responsible for feeding, grooming, exercising ect. Professionally I have worked in kennels for about 6-8years, ranging in groups of 2-50. As a kennel technician I was responsible for maintaining a leveled space for everyone to play and exercise or even relax. I do have experience in medication administration, oral, topical, rectum, shots. I have also a year of being a veterinary assistant which is what I'm currently pursuing and absolutely love it. My schedule is wide open currently! I just moved back to the Central Valley and I'm flexible. I have school online for Veterinary Technology and have started school for LVN as well. While doing a house sitting or drop-in, I always greet the animals check food and water bowls, make my way to the yard and ALWAYS check the yard before letting out animals. I will walk around the house to make sure there were no accidents or anything out of sorts really. I make sure doors are closed that need to be and always give the love that's needed.
“She was very good with my car who just got out a surgery. She checked for wounds and sent me pictures and made sure she was safe and happy. I would hire her back if I had a need for more pet care in the future. ?”

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
