As a graduate student, I can frequently set my own schedule week to week and Brian works from home so your pet will have company! I walk my dog every morning and would love to make it a pack walk!

I love all dogs, but there is a special place in my heart for little ones. I would love to know about how your dog responds in different environments and how they react to different creatures we may encounter on walks or in the backyard as well as any special dietary or medical needs.
A typical day
We love walking on the many walking paths in North Merced and around Lake Yosemite! Brian is an excellent fetch partner and I really enjoy cuddling up with pups after a long day!

Pet care experience
My husband Brian and I love pets, especially dogs. I have cared for dogs that are high energy, need a lot of exercise and also dogs with special dietary needs and medications. Brian is a great and patient dog walker, especially with larger dogs and those that have a tendency to pull. We have about 10 regular dog and house sitting clients that can provide references including friends and neighbors. We love having getting outside and will happily take your pups on walks or to the park. I also am a graduate student and thus have a very predictable schedule from semester to semester, Brian also works from home. We have our own reliable transportation and have previously trained our own pets to do different tricks (even Guinea pigs!) and would be happy to provide that structure to your animals as well.
Reviews
Your pets will seriously get the best of care with Taylor and Brian. They both love all pets to bits, and are great at feeding schedules, medicine, and special needs. I don’t think I can recommend them highly enough. I always entrust both my dogs and cats to their care, and have had successful drop ins and boarding.
Taylor and Brian were lovely and did daily drop ins with my two cats. They spent plenty of time loving and playing with the cats. I got daily updates on how the cats were fairing and anything that seemed amiss. I definitely trust them with invested and true caring of pets.
Taylor has watched my cat, Socks, since 2019 with the most recent visit being last week. When I'm out of town, she visits Socks twice a day for feedings, play time, and scooping litter if needed. She is also great about sending pictures when requested. Socks has thrown up a couple times during Taylor's visits and she has taken the time to clean up any vomit and double check my home for any other messes. She has also been very accommodating and flexible when I had travel delays that caused me to stay away from home for an extra night. Socks is often wary of strangers (for other cat owners, Socks is "roommate cat" not a cuddly cat), but after an initial meeting where I introduced her to Taylor (and had Taylor feed her since she loves anyone who feeds her), Socks has warmed up to Taylor and allows Taylor to pet her. Over the past few years, Taylor has been consistent and reliable, and I highly recommend her if you need a cat sitter!
Taylor and Brian are amazing pet sitters. I found my dog in the mountains several years ago after she was abandoned so she has some trust issues. Both Taylor and Brian were so patient and kind when they were getting to know my dog. Brian’s willingness to play fetch until she was actually finished was the fact that sealed the deal, they are the only people watching my pup. I know that leaving my dog in their hands is like caring for my dog myself.
