I have dedicated my life to taking care of fur babies for over 6 years now! I began my start in the pet care industry by volunteering at the shelter. Afterwards I began training dogs to reduce the number that end up in the shelter due to reactivity. Now 6 years later I have opened up Merced’s first Barkery (pet cafe) where I offer doggy daycare, boarding in home pet sitting, check ins, a cafe with a doggy play place and so much more! Not only am I happy to take your pet into my home with open arms, I am lucky enough to have access to an inside play place where they can run free and socialize with other dogs without getting dirty and at the end of the day they can come cuddle up with me when they are all tuckered out from playing. Of course I can also accommodate the couch potatoes who like to sleep all day. Either way you can rest assured that I am ready and willing to give your dog the love and affection that they need with absolutely no time left unattended! How can I promise that? Nonetheless, I will take your pet everywhere with me and make sure that they are given the attention and love that they deserve! I usually go on my morning walks and then head off to order my coffee and the baristas know by now that my order always comes with a pup cup! Since I own my own business my schedule is very flexible. I do check in and run errands throughout the day but this allows me to bond with your pet and gives them a chance to get out and about! I could easily crate your pet if needed, let them out frequently, and overall make sure they are comfortable while you’re away.

About: I’ve always loved animals and have had many pets. I currently have 2 dogs and 3 rats. I love taking my dogs on long walks. I also love to run with dogs. I have worked with my dogs with a trainer, so, I know how to manage dogs while out and about. I am a stay at home mom to 3 kids so I can fit walks in while they are at school. Morning and early afternoon are best, but I would be able to fit in walks at other times if needed. I will come pick up your pet and take them on a 30-60 minute walk or run based on your needs. I will only walk your pet at one time so they will get my full attention.

“If you want a responsible and reliable pet sitter, Michelle is the pet sitter for your pet, whether it is a dog, cat, etc. because she loves animals. Michelle took very good care of my cats while I went on various trips over the years. The longest time was last year for 3 weeks when our family went on vacation. She made sure the cats had plenty of water (hot summer) and food, and checked on them regularly. I really appreciate her taking good care of my cats.”

About: I grew up with a German Shepard and Pitbulls in my family. I've looked after other families dogs while I was active duty in the Air Force. I have more experience with larger dogs (Great Dane, Pitbull, German Shepard) but have taken care of both large and small breeds. I'm a disabled vet and am currently available full-time 24/7. This is my job, making convience and care easily accessible for you. This allows me to have more interactions with your pet, making thier stay as comfortable as possible. I have a big backyard with plenty of room to run and play. I will be with your pet thier entire stay, assuring thier safety while also making sure they have fun and plenty of belly rubs. Your pet, your rules. I will uphold and keep boundaries/ rules for your pet that you have already taught them on request.
