When caring for pets in a pet owner’s home, I always prioritise maintaining their normal routine to help them feel safe and settled. This includes regular feeding times, walks, play, and any specific care instructions the owner provides. I make sure to keep their environment clean, comfortable, and familiar—whether that’s refreshing water bowls, cleaning up after walks, or tidying pet spaces. I also send regular updates and photos so owners can relax knowing their pet is happy and well looked after.

Learning what commands the dog responds to is a priority of mine to keep them safe when out and about. I would like to know what the dogs daily routine is, specifically feeding and walking times. How they are with other dogs and humans or anything that make them nervous/anxious. It would also be great to know if the dog has any favourite toys or comfort items :)

I always like to go for a walk of minimum 30 minutes everyday and have some time in the garden with the dog is possible. In the evenings to wind down is always cuddle time which is full of belly rubs and sofa cuddles (if allowed).

I currently work 3 days in an office with the ability to work from home fully time when needed so I am available for house sitting during the day time all week and often go on a long walk on my lunch breaks and a shorter one before and after work.
