Hi there SD pet parents! My name is Sonia and I would love to be your pups future sitter. I have gained so much experience working with so many pet owners around the country through Rover! We are a military family so it’s been great getting to know new families and new dogs! We haven’t had our own for quite some time so having the company of other pups has been a comfort to our family in new places! However, we did just rehome a senior English Bulldog named Lola through Rover! She’s the best! We have grown to love her and give her the best home in her older years and would hope your pup won’t mind her. She does like to give every dog a hearty sniff test upon arrival but once she gets it out of her system, she will go back to what she does best, and that’s sleep all day! We hope to give your dog a loving temporary home as well while you’re away! I’m home seven days a week as a stay at home mom. If I need to step out, my loving husband will take over! We’d both love to get to know you and your dog as there may be brief times he could potentially stay with your dog as well, especially if it’s a long stay! But for the most part, I’m always home. Our yard is completely fenced. All pups sleep indoors, preferably in a kennel for the evenings and for when they need to be left alone when we step out. Our home is open to your pet, but free range is not something we can offer just for peace of mind and safety for your dog while we are away. It makes it so much easier if your pup is kennel trained. Again they are only used when left alone or at night. Usually older dogs are more experienced without the need for a kennel, so if that’s sounds more like your dog, we can make exceptions! But everyone knows what their dog can handle, so we can leave that open for discussion at meeting!
