Pet Enthusiast I adore animals. I recently completed my ITC First Aid for Dogs course at The Edinburgh Dog and Cat Home, but my love doesn't stop at dogs. Cats with their independent spirits and unique personalities bring a different joy, and I cherish the moments of affection they choose to share. My heart melts when I look into the loving, trusting eyes of any pet. I have a special place in my heart for senior pets, who may need that extra touch of patience, gentle handling, or assistance with their medications. Apart from cuddling and playing with your pets, I do actually take them out for stimulating adventures! For dogs, this could be along the Water of Leith (there is a path literally at the bottom of my garden) or to Inverleith Park only a hop, skip, and a jump away! For cats, I ensure they have engaging playtime and a safe environment to satisfy their curiosity. I consider it an honour to be trusted to look after your furry family member, from an hour's companionship to daycare or extended stays, whether this is for a weekend or holiday cover when you are unable to take them with you. I understand how stressful it is to leave your pet with a stranger, and I do everything in my power to ensure your 'furbaby' is loved and cared for in a way that they feel relaxed and happy on their 'mini-break' here. I'm currently semi-retired, and any work I do is from home, which means I have lots of time to dedicate to the care of your pets. I love the exercise and am out in all kinds of weather, ensuring your pets get the activity and attention they need. All pets are cared for in a safe, warm, welcoming home. We have a secure private garden and live in the Stockbridge Colonies - a tranquil corner of Edinburgh, where visitors often comment that the location makes you "feel as though you're living in the country." We look out onto the Water of Leith. My husband is another animal enthusiast, so you can rest assured your pet will receive top-notch care should you choose us.
