My Grandmother was a Colorado State award-winning dog trainer and I grew up helping her care for her three Belgian Tervurans. I've owned several dogs throughout my life as well. I'm a sucker for animals-in-need. I have a history of volunteer work at shelters and have cared for a wide range of dogs! I have three kids aged 3, 4, and 7 who have grown up around all types of animals, including dogs of all sizes. Currently, we have two cats and two ferrets. We are extremely active with our animals and play with them throughout the day!

Great experience again with Michael and Elizabeth. Watched my pups overnight and they took good care of them. You can't go wrong using their services.

Michael and Elizabeth are wonderful, awesome human beings who truly care about animals — both their own and other people’s. My shy cat loved Michael whenever he was here. He’s conscientious and kind and reliable, as is Elizabeth. I’d let them pet sit my 3 cats (or my dog, if I had one) with no second thought. I couldn’t recommend them more highly!!

Outside: We have a large fenced in back yard with only one exterior entry point which is double gated. The double gated side yard is where we usually meet the owners when they come for pick up. The double gated entry way provides protection from dogs escaping. We have a large metal container that we use as a water trough that we fill with ice water 3 times a day to keep all dogs well hydrated! We have lots of dog toys for the back yard as well. Inside: Dogs sleep upstairs on the main floor, but during the day, they have full access to the house and back yard. We do not provide kennels but will use one if it is brought and is the owners preference. Dogs eat at the same time we eat. We send LOTS of pictures and updates throughout the day!

Your dogs will stay very busy with my kids around! We have a huge fenced back yard for dogs to run free and explore. We have sprinklers and a kid swimming pool that dogs love to play in! We also love to take a trip over to Freeman Lake for some time at the dog park and some walks along the water. On weekends, we go to Bernheim Forest. When things start to quiet down, we have a movie room in the basement with a large sectional couch for dogs to plop down and snuggle. On some weekends, we even set up beds down there and we all crash in a big cuddle puddle.

My wife and I both work 35 hours a week on opposite schedules so one of us is always available! We have separate days off so 5 days a week, one of us has the day off.
