Calling all dog, cat and pocket pet parents! Are you looking for someone who will treat your pet like family? Look no further! I will be your pets go-to for all their needs. I am a pet protector, walking partner, treat giver, thunder buddy, snuggler and cuddler. I am a certified professional dog groomer and a past veterinary technician who provides tons of fun-filled pet care for your precious loved ones while exceeding in their health and well-being.

Megan is totally amazing! If you are reading this review, please go somewhere else because we want Megan to ourselves. I have no clue how she was able to connect with my snobby lazy cats and make them love her, but we don't want to share that talent with any of you. I've never met someone so trustworthy, and we will never bother with another sitter. If Megan is not available, we will change our vacation dates.

Safety is one of my top priorities! I have a nice spacious grassy backyard with high fences and I am also close to lots of pathways, parks and conservation areas for daily walks and hikes. Written consent is required for hiking trips. I am a runner so feel free to let me know if your dog would benefit more from a run over a walk. Be sure to let me know they’re maximum distance and what terrain they’re used to for their safety. I do offer complimentary all natural paw balm application to protect their paws from the elements. Although I have a fenced in backyard, dogs are never left unattended. I have doggy gates to block off access to stairs if required. If your dog is crate trained and requires being crated at certain times, I have a variety of sizes available. For reactive dogs on walks I double leash and/or harness to prevent slipping out of their collar. Safety straps are used as well connecting from the least to the collar/harness. Leashes and safety straps are supplied by myself and are made of durable, high-quality Biothane. *Please note: For the safety of myself and your dog(s), walks will NOT be permitted during active thunder and lightning. During inclement weather such as snow storms, walking routes and times may vary. I do have a large variety of dog toys, beds and blankets that I provide which are cleaned and sanitized. I am also not responsible for lost or damaged toys, beds or blankets so please leave them at home. If they tend to chew apart or eat certain toys, or have hoarding aggression, please inform me. Dog/cat aggressive dogs will be unable to board but I can offer house sitting or drop in visits to help accommodate. With having a veterinary technician background, I have extensive knowledge and skill sets which means I can offer a wide-range of medical services (additional fees apply). *Important Information* - Insured by ProFur - I am vaccinated for rabies Medications? I can administer oral, topical and injectable medications. Upcoming vet appointment? I can take them. Ran out of medications? Simply request a refill and I can pick it up. Due for a groom? Book so your pet goes home looking extra fresh. A grooming quote will be provided prior. Additional services available Medical Rates: - Medications - $5/day (unlimited amount of medications) - Veterinary Appointments - starting at $40/visit (pick up/drop off) Grooming Rates: - Nail dremeling - $5 with complimentary nail trim - Anal glands or ear cleaning - $10 - The Works Package (full groom) starting at $55 depending on breed and coat condition (bath, blow dry, brush, haircut, nail trim, ear cleaning) - Refresher Package (bath and nail trim) starting at $25 - Additional grooming fee will apply if pets are dropped off with a severely dirty coat (being covered in urine or feces). Pets will NOT be accepted with fleas present! Flea and tick prevention medication is required during seasonal months - Does your dog have any medical concerns? Medications? Allergies? - Does your dog have a history of chewing or eating foreign objects? - Dog-friendly? Cat-friendly? - Intact? If they are intact, females in heat must wear a diaper and males intact may be required to wear a belly band if marking occurs. - Extra cleaning charges may apply to dogs who excessively inappropriately mark or are not house-trained. - Aggression or behavioural concerns? - Mobility concerns? I have two sets of stairs. One can be closed off with a door and the second can be blocked off with a doggy gate. For larger breeds I can set them up comfortably in the living room and smaller breeds can be carried up and down. - Are they allowed on furniture?

I schedule my day around the pets in my care. I keep to their feeding times, walking schedules, play times and down time routine. I do like to provide as much entertainment as possible to give dogs a vacation of their own. My home is set up to make pets feel like they are at their home away from home. I have dog beds and blankets in almost every room for them to relax. There’s a wide variety of dog toys for them to play with. What's included in my services? Boarding: - Scheduled feedings - 1 walk/day (additional walks subject to extra fee) - Playtime and socialization House Sitting: - Scheduled feedings, water changes - Scheduled walks up to 2/day (additional walks subject to extra fee) - Cleaning of litter boxes if cats are present - Taking out the garbage/recycling - Plant care - Checking the mail - Minor cleaning (areas used during stay) Additional requests can be made and an additional fee may apply. *Basic utilities MUST be provided (electricity, water, heating/cooling) Pet care services are also provided for pocket pets, fish, most reptiles and birds. Pocket pets can be boarded at my house depending on the size of their cage. If too large, drop-in visits can be arranged. Drop-in visits can be provided for pocket pets, fish, most reptiles and birds. Visits include feeding, water change, socialization (if tame), cage cleaning if needed. Fish tank cleanings are NOT provided. All pet care services are arranged accordingly to suit owners needs as much as possible. At times I may have to leave for a few hours at a time to provide care services to other pets. I do live with my parents and someone is always bound to be home. My mom is home-based and is always eager to assist with providing care. My travel radius does vary between services to help accommodate pets and their owners.
