TLDR: I wouldn’t book this sitter for house sitting or for a dog that requires medication. Lizzy was hired to house sit for our two dogs from Friday through Monday. We got home late on Monday and came home to a mess. She left a sink full of dirty dishes. The kitchen floor was sticky. There was food in the sink. It was disgusting. There was a pool of water on the kitchen counter. The cooktop had stains and grease splattered all over it. The lids to the salt and pepper shakers were missing, later found on the kitchen counter. My boyfriend and I spent 1.5 hours cleaning up her mess when we got home from our vacation. We did not leave the house a mess and I was furious. I texted her to let her know that I was shocked she would leave the house in such a mess and that I considered her behavior completely disrespectful. She apologized and said she had to take an uber home and she should have paid more attention to how she left things. But it seems like every time we go into another room, we find more messes. She removed her press-on nails and left the old ones everywhere. I found old fingernails on the floor in the room she stayed in, on the kitchen counter, and outside in the backyard. So gross!! Someone got into our medicine supplies. Not sure what was taken but there was an empty plastic wrapper and the hydrogen peroxide was moved. There was a pool of water under the trash in the bathroom. There were cigarette butts on the ground in the backyard. She apparently did her laundry and left the laundry detergent lid open and got oxi powder all over the top of the machine. She opened a sealed and unused bottle of Elemis facial cleanser that was in a drawer and used it. That’s expensive stuff and she had no right to go digging in our drawers to open unused items. And I haven't even talked about how much food she ate. During the meet and greet I told her she could help herself to anything perishable in the fridge because it would probably go bad before we got back anyway. She took that to mean that she could help herself to anything in the fridge, freezer, and pantry. Normally, I probably wouldn’t be that upset by this but the state in which she left everything she touched was terrible. The French fry bag was left open and had brown stuff on the outside. She spilled ketchup on the freezer door and just left it there. She opened cookie dough and didn’t even try to reclose the package. Who does this?? And she ate almost all the candy. My boyfriend had a bucket of Halloween candy he got from work and it was completely empty. I had a glass pumpkin jar of candy and it was about 2/3 empty. We had these Nutella biscuits we got on our trip to Europe. She ate them all. She made three bags of trash in four days. Now, I gave her 3 stars because the dogs were okay when we got back. But one of our dogs requires precise medications. I left detailed instructions and showed her how to do it in person. She didn’t follow the instructions. I know because I refilled my dog’s prescription before I left as a precaution. She should have had one extra pill left upon our return. I’m not sure what Lizzy gave to our dogs but there were four pills missing out of the new package. Additionally, the poop in the backyard was runny, which tells me that Lizzy wasn’t doing the dosage correctly. Within one day of us getting back, my dog’s poop was normal again. We also didn’t get any updates after the first day. She let us know she made it and then we didn’t hear from her unless we reached out to her. I consider the state in which she left our house to be completely disrespectful. She has transportation issues and couldn’t follow the instructions I left regarding our dog’s medication. Would not recommend.

We recently had the pleasure of having Liz house sit and take care of our dogs, Bonnie and Oli, over the Thanksgiving week, and we couldn't be happier with the experience. From the very beginning, Liz displayed exceptional communication skills, keeping us informed and updated on our fur babies throughout our holiday weekend. Liz's attention to detail and genuine love for animals was evident in the way she cared for Bonnie and Oli. She went above and beyond to ensure they felt safe, comfortable, and loved. We were amazed at the level of pampering our dogs received under her watchful eye. One of the things we appreciated the most were the frequent photos and videos Liz sent us. It was heartwarming to see Bonnie and Oli having a great time and being well taken care of. These updates not only reassured us that our dogs were in good hands but also allowed us to relax and fully enjoy our holiday weekend without any worries. In addition to her excellent care for our pets, Liz's communication skills were impeccable. She promptly answered any questions we had and kept us informed about any concerns or inquiries regarding Bonnie and Oli. Her professionalism and dedication to keeping us informed were truly commendable. Overall, we cannot express our gratitude enough to Liz for providing such exceptional care for our dogs. Her love, attention, and communication really set our minds at ease, allowing us to have a worry-free holiday weekend. We highly recommend Liz to anyone in need of a responsible and loving pet sitter. We will definitely be reaching out to her in the future and will be spreading the word about her fantastic services.
