I grew up surrounding myself with dogs, but when it came time to adopt my first pet, my housing situation led me to a cat. My heart led me to two more, and I found that I had made a crazy cat lady of myself. Having formerly studied dog behavior and been a "dog person" throughout my childhood, I find myself missing the company of canines! I have taken some time away from pet care as I've been growing and caring for a human as well. I'm excited to get back to meeting new animal friends, whether it be through playful home visits, tiring ourselves out on adventurous walks, or finding out how many wet foods it takes for a shy kitty to show her face.
