About: I've taken care of a variety of dogs with different needs including senior dogs. I found my love for dog sitting in undergrad and over time I became the go-to dog sitter for the professors at my university. My professors knew me as a hardworking, trustworthy student that would take care of their pets with the upmost care! I've taken care of my parent's dogs as well and have experience caring for dogs with extreme anxiety. I am a grad student on summer break who is free during the week to dog sit! For overnight sitting, day sitting, and walks I am available from Monday evening to Friday evening. Weekends vary, typically I am available for walks and shorter check ins. Occasionally, I can do longer day sitting and overnight stays. Once the semester starts my schedule will change but I will still have plenty of time during the week to dog sit! While staying in my client's home overnight or visiting for day sitting/walks I make sure to treat their home and their dog with respect and follow any rules they have set in place for me. With a new client I make sure to ask important questions and get the information I need to take care of their dog in the best way possible!

About: I have years of experience caring for and watching pets of family members. I love animals and animals love me! I am very precise and careful when it comes to animal care. I am available 7 days a week and have no problem spending ample amount of time to ensure your pet is not only cared for, but loved and happy. I am very energetic and outgoing and love to keep pets entertained. I can accommodate any needs while ensuring your pet has fun! I am also very organized, cleanly, and respectful of other peoples’ space. I am willing to go the extra mile: bringing in mail, washing sheets, watering plants, etc. to make your return from travel as relaxing as possible.

“My Missy was very excited when I got back home to tell all about her new friends. Would definitely call Dan again!! He was early and efficient. I also appreciated the photos.”

About: The best medicine is the unconditional love of your pet, I love dogs. I will take good care of him and I will play with them! I currently work part time, I will have plenty of time and space to play with them!! I am available from 8am to 1pm and at night I am responsible, friendly and affectionate, I will give you all my attention and I will make them happy with me! I love dogs and cats!

About: We are the perfect dynamic duo, that equally share love for pets. Between our own dogs, dogs we’ve sat for, pets we find on the street, we always want to love them all the same. Either both of us or one of us will join your pups for visits ! Kristen is a professional student nearby and Justin is an instructional aid at a local high school, that being said, we have somewhat flexible schedules and random free times, especially kristen. We both work part time as well, but dog walking, is always something that we love to do, for the cuddles and pets. Whenever going for walks, you make sure that dogs are harnessed up correctly, and ready to go before we leave the house. If we are going to a more public location, like a busy park, we will always make sure to have treats, just in case pups don’t want to listen to us! Your pups will be in very good care with us, if they’re not fan of long walks, we can always and some walk shorter and go home and give them nice good pets. For sittings, we would make sure the pup(s) warm up and are comfortable, so that we can make them feel safe with us.

About: I've taken care of neighbors, family members, family friends, and my own pets since I was 12, gaining valuable experience in pet care across a variety of animals. My hands-on experience has made me confident in handling different pet personalities and maintaining their well-being. With a cat of my own, I've learned to value and prioritize all the aspects of pet care. My daily schedule includes lots of quality time and grooming to avoid lots of cat hair. My weekly routine includes cleaning and other additional tasks she may need, around any other commitments. I find pet care to be relaxing for the both of us and prioritize it often. I always prioritize following any guidelines or instructions provided to ensure the best care for pets in a client's home. I am committed to maintaining consistency with routines and any specific needs that the pet or client may have. My goal is to create a comfortable and secure environment for pets while respecting the preferences and requirements of their owners.

“I always feel such peace of mind when Julia comes over to walk our pup. I also really appreciate her flexibility of my very unpredictable schedule. 9 times out of 10 she’s been able to accommodate our last minute requests which goes so much further than she knows. I know our little guy Hank is safe with Julia and I have and will continue to book her in the future. Thank you for all that you do!”

About: "I’ve owned dogs my entire life and currently have an oversized rescued Dachshund named James. I love taking James on long outdoor walks just as much as I enjoy cuddling with him on the couch while watching rom-coms. I treat every furry friend like family, because to me, pets aren’t just animals, they’re cherished members of the family. I’d care for your pet with the same love, patience, and attention I give to James. Pet care fits seamlessly into my routine because I work from home three days a week and have a flexible schedule. I’m available to provide consistent and attentive care on the following days: Mondays, Tuesdays, and Fridays – mornings and evenings Wednesdays – evenings only Weekends and holidays – mornings and evenings This flexibility allows me to schedule walks, drop-in visits, or extended time with your pet around my remote work hours. Whether it’s a regular routine or a last-minute holiday request, I’m happy to help when you need me most. I’m happy to care for pets in the comfort of their own home, where they feel safest and most at ease. I follow any specific instructions you provide, whether it’s feeding schedules, medication needs, or favorite toys and routine, so your pet’s day stays as normal and stress-free as possible. I also offer dog walking services, and I make sure each walk is safe, engaging, and tailored to your dog’s pace and energy level. Whether it's a quick potty break or a longer stroll, your pup will get plenty of love and attention.

About: I truly have the deepest care and love for animals and am guaranteed to fall in love with any dog/cat is that I get the chance to care for! I had my own dog for 9 years and took on all the responsibilities caring for her including training. I also am the one to watch my family and friends’ dogs of different sizes and breeds, and cats, when they go away for vacation. I have also fostered a cat for 3 months. My schedule is extremely flexible over the next few months as I am in between jobs. Therefore, I can stop in to care for or walk your pet at anytime and offer potty breaks as frequently as needed. When watching your pet, I make it a priority to cater my care to your pet’s needs. The first and most important thing I do for overnight care is setting an alarm early in the morning for pets that need to be let outside to go to the bathroom so that they are not uncomfortably holding themselves while waiting for me to wake up.

About: I have adored and loved pets all my life. I believe they deserve to be cherished, nurtured, and protected. I love caring for them a lot! Pet care fits perfectly well. I am able to provide excellent care and protection for dogs. I can provide walks, feedings and lots of love. I will care for pets with lost of love and attention to detail. I'll ensure they are safe, entertained, and protected according to their needs.

About: Hi there - thank you for considering me, but before I tell you all about me and my experience, I would like to note that we have 3 resident kitties on-premises. They are dog friendly and get along well with dogs who are kitty friendly. Hello Pet Parents! My name is Kat and I am beyond excited to get to meet you and your pet(s). If you need someone who will love your pet(s) as much as you do when you are away on vacation, traveling for work or you simply need a breather, you can depend on me to be that person. I am patient, attentive, and reliable. My goal is to keep your pet both happy and safe in your absence. My pet care experience is very vast. I grew up with pets in my childhood home and carried on the "tradition" even when I moved out on my own. I am currently the pet momma of two rescues, a dog named Harley and a cat named Marmalade. Harley was in a shelter for over 6 months and was deemed "unadoptable" due to behavioral issues. I was told he would not even allow anyone to touch him due to his issues. He adjusted within a few days of coming home and has developed into a dog that cannot get enough belly rubs since we became soulmates. I have experience in caring for senior pets. Before I adopted Harley, 3 of my beloved pets went over the Rainbow Bridge. I had them from pup/kitten life stages to senior stages, so administering medication, and helping senior pets be ambulatory is not a problem for me. Taking care of your pet would be a pleasure for me, as I am going to be 100% devoted to the care of them, just as I do with my own. I currently work from home, so I have plenty of flexibility during the day to play with your pup and make sure they get potty breaks. This also makes it convenient for me to do daycare and or board as well. My yard is unfenced, but your dog would never be unleashed when we into the yard. I have a large yard with lots of shade and trees, and my own dog when he goes into the yard is supervised and never goes or is left alone. There is lots of space for lounging in the shade out of the sun. I currently have a work-from-home schedule. This means that the majority of my days are spent in my home office, so I can easily take the dog outside for potty breaks and such as needed. If I needed to do a home visit, would be able to arrange that with some schedule changes if needed. I do not have a fenced yard, but it is quite vast. No dog even my own goes in the yard unleashed. I also require a harness while your dog is in my care, especially for those that are pullers, this avoids any harm to their necks as well as makes them easier to manage on walks, especially if I am walking in packs.

“Samantha was amazing with our pup. She has been a long time walker for our pit bull pup and always took extra attention to his needs. If Sam was scheduled, we knew Wiki was in great hands. I would recommend her to anyone!”

Melrose Park dog parents share their Rover experiences
Amber is a wonderful dog walker. She understood exactly what I wanted her to do with respect to my dog having good manners, Not pulling, not jumping up on people. She communicates very well and is a pleasure to work with. In the future I will not hesitate to book her again !

Julia walked our 2 precious elderly dogs while we were away. She was on time, texted me with questions, refilled their water bowls and made sure they both did all their business before locking up and leaving. She even sent me a cute picture of our fur gals before she left. We will be using Julia again!
