About: I truly love animals, especially the snuggly ones! I’ve cared for dogs of all sizes and personalities, from tiny Chihuahuas to Great Danes and Bullies, and I love getting to know what makes each pet unique. I’m also comfortable caring for cats, including hypoallergenic and lower-allergen breeds. My daughter is allergic to cats, so I’m familiar with being thoughtful about allergy-friendly environments and routines. I have experience giving pets medication and following specific feeding and care instructions. I previously made homemade dog food for a Bully using organ meats, vegetables, and grains, so I’m very comfortable with special diets, meal preparation, and pets who need a little extra attention. Birds are close to my heart as well. I’ve cared for parrots and had my own cockatiel for 18 years. He lived to be 21 years old, so I understand the patience, consistency, and specialized care birds require. One important note: I have a severe flea allergy, so pets must be current on appropriate flea prevention before staying with me or receiving care in my home. Most of all, I want pets to feel safe, comfortable, loved, and spoiled while their people are away. Whether your pet wants walks and playtime or would rather curl up next to me for snuggles, I’m happy to follow their lead. I’m a self-employed single mom to a 13-year-old, so I have a flexible schedule and can easily work pet care into our daily routine. Animals are very therapeutic for both of us, and having them around feels natural and comforting in our home. I follow each pet’s normal routine as closely as possible, including feeding, walks, medications, playtime, and any special instructions. About: My family has always had pets of all types and they are family to me. I have two small friendly dogs and walking, and playing with them is just what I love! I’ve taken care of many neighbors/ friend’s pets as well, at my house and theirs. Being a working from home mom I can also do drop ins at your home to check your pup is ok and let out during the day. I also offer doggy day care at my home, so your pup never needs to be alone. I live extremely close to Miami International airport and will happily work with you to coordinate drop off/ pick ups to make it hassle free. Working from home allows me to provide your pet with love and care all day. I have two small friendly dogs that love to play with other dogs, so your pup will enjoy lots of playtime and walks! About: I’m a trusted dog fosterer for a local dog rescue charity. In my childhood our family continually rescued dogs so I’m used to lots of different personalities. My husband and I recently adopted our first dog, Belly, together and she means everything to us. We’ve been so grateful to see her journey from an anxious and never before socialized puppy into a confident and social girl and have learned so many important training techniques along the way. We’ve discovered that she prefers having other dogs in the house and loves to give them attention, so if your dog likes company too then it would be a great match! I’m a PhD student working remotely from our apartment every day so I’ll always be with your dog. We can accommodate boarding any day of the week. Our apartment block has a large enclosed yard space for running space and potty breaks, as well as a dog walking trail. We also have a long neighbourhood trail that is safe and traffic-free for leash walking.
