About: I loves dogs. I have been lucky enough to own a few over the years, but circumstances have not let me as much as I would like (either because I traveled a lot, I rented and no dogs were allowed, or I have not been sure I could be there for them for 10-17 years as needed. Being a dog sitter and walker, I can give your dog the love I have and get outside and enjoy our wonderful locations with your dogs. I am recently retired and trying to determine my next move--which means right now, my schedule and availability are very open. I am hoping this will be a great addition to my days. I have 2 cats at this time--I feed them twice a day (dry food and wet) and clean their kitty litter on a regular basis. I also spend time with them (usually with them lying on top of me. My cats are ~12 years old. One cat needs medication every other day--and I give this to her. I also cut their nails whenever it is needed. I would take care of my client's animals how the client wants them cared for--I would feed them when they need it, walk them or play with them for at least a set amount of time, and I would respect their boundaries (I would not force myself on them--but I will not let them get out of control and chase other animals or people.). I love animals and always have--and they seem to know this.

About: My previous dog was a border collie so I am well versed in training energetic pups who want jobs. Clients have told me that their pup comes home better behaved than when they were dropped off! I tend to garden and do alot of work in my garage so your pup will join me in those spaces as well as walks up throughout the neighborhood and at the local park to meet other pups. I often try to schedule walks with neighbor’s doggies so we can walk together to socialize both humans and canine. I now have a sweet rescue puppy I fostered then adopted who loves to play. She stops at the street corner for me to say she can cross. She can do “down” at a distance and will stay until released even when she does not have me in view. I work from home so have plenty of time to interact and just be there for my girl and your pup. We love going to beach park and swimming. My yard is fenced. There is a front and back yard so they can have plenty of outside time even at home. I also live close to parks where pups can romp.

About: I love dogs (and cats)! I have walked dogs for family members, neighbors and friends for the past 15+ years. I would love to walk your dogs, play with your energetic pup and make sure they are having an amazing day! I can also stop by to feed and water them, or dog sit, and send you an update you about your dog’s or cat’s status after each visit :-). I’m currently very flexible with my schedule and can come walk your dog most days of the week, given at least a day’s notice, within a radius of 7 miles from San Rafael. I can walk dogs outside of your house or take care of dogs within your house. This includes refilling food, water, treats and playing with your dog. About: I have been a doglover for a long time, I really take care of each one of them and I know the unique characteristics they can have, being a caretaker has their responsibility, they are living beings and they must be treated as such. Currently I study English, approximately two hours a day, so I have enough time to take care of and play with your dogs, time is not a problem for me, I am available all week and practically at any time of the day. I have lived with dogs all my life, so it is not difficult for me to adapt to their needs in any situation, I am available to take care of your dog at home if you wish.

About: I have been an avid pet lover since I was just a kid! I have owned and cared for cats and dogs for the last 25+ years, among many other animals. As a teenager I would often pet sit for families in my neighborhood and helped out older neighbors with dog walks and other basic pet care. I really enjoy working with dogs (AND CATS!) on basic obedience training, house manners, crate training, leash manners, and much more. I am currently home full time which means that I will be able to focus on your pet's needs. My small dogs and I take regular walks in our neighborhood and have a well established schedule for meal times with lots of time to play with toys and cuddles. We very much enjoy heading to pet-friendly stores for a little bit of adventure, but we also enjoy the occasional day long outing to the beach or for a good, long hike. Our home is a smaller two-level three bedroom home with fenced front and backyards. I do have two small dogs, both under 15 pounds, and a few cats. Both dogs get along well with other dogs and most of the cats just stay upstairs or use their cat trees to avoid the dogs, though a couple of the cats do enjoy a game of rough house with the dogs. I have crates available for dogs that are crate trained, tons of toys for engaging play, some puzzle boards and snuffle mats for enrichment. If I am caring for your pet in your own home I will adhere to any rules or structure you have in place or that we discuss beforehand. If you'd like me to bring along any toys, treats, training materials, or other items for walks or pet-sitting I am happy to help with that. I drive an SUV with room for travel crates and/or doggy car seats, perfect for those weekend walks at all of the regional parks near by.

About: Hello! I have been a lover of pets for as long as I can remember. I was always raised with all sorts of pets around the house, and I am here to help! I have house sat for the family I nannied for throughout college (2014 thru 2019). When I had a reoccurring housesitting gig, I took care of their many pets (a barn cat, 3 high energy dogs - big and small, chickens, a bearded dragon), and helped look after them for multiple days. I also love walking dogs, I think dog walking can be so therapeutic. I know that life can get busy, and it's hard to trust somebody else to look after your pet. I am a very patient, experienced, caring person. I work part time at a kitty boarding facility, and am comfortable with all sorts of different pets. I also have furry friends of my own! I will begin being very available in the summer. But right now I am hoping for a job that is on the weekends and Thursdays. Starting in June 2025, I will have very flexible hours. About: I've fostered dogs in my home and cared for dogs and cats in other people's homes and am excited to do more of both! I got into housesitting several months ago and love getting to spend focused time and attention on animals while their people are away. While fostering dogs, I worked on light training - improving walking manners, comfort with strangers, and basic commands.
