“John knew that Sadie liked to fetch tennis balls thrown with a Chuck-it, so he did that for her. Twice! In very cold weather & it hurt his shoulder. I really like that he only takes 1 dog family at a time. He treats my dog like his dog. Has a wonderful big fenced yard, during warmer weather has dog doors so they can go in & out at will. His dog Peaches is very sweet.”

About: I've lived with dogs almost my entire life, and adopted my first dog 15 years ago. I've since owned two Border Collies, who both participated in advanced agility and obedience work. I'm comfortable with high-drive, working breeds as well as your typical pet dogs. I have also trained and lived with Golden Retrievers, Labs, Pitties, Havanese and Shih Tzus, so I'm familiar with a wide range of breeds, and I've cared for dogs in all stages of life -- from puppies to seniors. Whether your pup is a cuddle-loving couch potato or a ride-or-die adventure pal, they'll fit in great here! I currently work from home most days, and homeschool my two kids (ages 10 and 12). I have a very flexible schedule and am always up to go for a hike or play fetch between various family activities, or to snuggle up on the couch with a good book and a pup to cuddle. Your pet will be surrounded by a friendly family environment, and included in the daily routine I follow with my own dogs! I have a fenced in yard and a pet-friendly van for easy transportation. I am located near many lovely nature trails as well as a fully walk-able neighborhood including access to the McHenry Riverwalk only a block away! Daily walks never get boring with so many options available. Whether I'm strolling down the block to watch the geese on the river, or loading up in our van to hit up a local trail, every day is fun and interesting. If our dogs get along these can be joint adventures, but if your dog is more of a solo adventurer I am happy to walk and play separately!

About: I don’t remember a time in my life when a dog wasn’t part of it, and I think they make my life more complete. I’ve cared for dogs of all sizes and ages. I’m experienced with senior dogs and their unique needs. I also have had experience with dogs that have more complex medical issues (diabetes, Valley Fever, incontinence, seizures) and medications (oral pills, liquids, and even injections). I also have a fenced in yard where your dog can play…or just loll in the sun. And I have a dog friendly home where they’ll be treated like family. I work from home all day, so I’m here most of the time. I also tend to work from the couch, so your dog will be able to cuddle or get pets often. I usually feed my dogs in the AM, but I would feed your dog according to your schedule. I wouldn’t want to get them off of any routines you have. I think consistency is good for them. My home would be their home. It’s stressful enough for them to be in a new environment and out of their typical routine, so I try to make them comfortable. I also respect your rules and limitations for your dog.

About: I have a German shepherd puppy named Freya . She loves her walks every day & treats! I have taken care of dogs for the past 7 years & i love it . Best thing to come home to everyday . I currently don’t have a job so i will have a lot of free time to help out during the week . Schedule is pretty open I have a fenced in yard & 2 puppy’s . About: I’ve taken care of dogs and cats since I was a kid. I have also had a small private pet/house sitting business for the past 12 years. I have a lot of experience feeding pets with strict/special diets using oils, powders, crushed up supplements etc. and administering medicine including insulin injections. I’ve cared for dogs with disabilities and senior pets and puppies too. I love playing, walking, and just hanging out with them and giving lots of cuddles. I am a Nanny during the week, but have a somewhat flexible schedule. I generally can work the pet sitting routine into my work schedule so they are always well cared for and get plenty of attention. For boarding, my husband is home during the day and can take great care of your pets too. I am available to drop in or walk early mornings, evenings and Friday, Saturday, and Sunday’s. Pet sitting in your home - I basically “move in” for the time you are away. I follow your routine and house rules and spend most of my time in your home making sure your pets needs are met. This is especially good if there are separation anxiety issues. Boarding - I provide all loving care in my home making sure pets are comfortable, safe, and happy. Drop in- I will stop at your home and let dogs out, feed & water, play, etc. for no less than 20 minutes. I can also care for cats if you have them. Walks- I will come by, whether you are home or away, and take the dog(s) for a walk. I can feed and water too.

About: I’ve enjoyed watching Dogs for family and friends over the years. I work from home and would be available for any of the dogs needs throughout the day. We do have one dog of our own, a corgi, named Poppy. She is a very easy going dog that is very good at matching others dog’s energy. I’m very available on weekdays and most weekends. I’m also pretty flexible with last minute changes and keeping you updated with pictures and status updates. We do not have a fenced yard, but we do have a cable line the extends the yard. I can also set up a small fence for smaller dogs, if needed. We have a beautiful Corgi that has gotten along with every dog she’s ever met.

I offer check ins, feeding, walking, playing, cleaning up after all pets and livestock at their home. I board dogs and caged pets overnight or for multiple days at my home where dogs have access to a fenced yard at any time of the day, full time supervision, and cozy accommodations.

About: I have had a lot of experience with animals since I was a little girl. I would help my mother foster and even up to this day I help her with dog boarding and sitting. I've been introduced to a numerous amount of animals my whole life, ranging from guinea pigs to horses. I really do enjoy being around animals, they make wonderful companions. About: I’ve always grown up around dogs and don’t ever see my life without one. I currently own two German shepherds Oakley and cubby who are my babies along side my two human babies 2 and 5 years old. I’m a certified vet assistant. I am a stay at home mom. My schedule is free to have your pet feel like they are home while you’re away! We can go for walks, play in the fenced backyard or cuddle up on the couch/bed for movie time. I have a 6ft fenced in yard that is big enough to get your dogs energy out along with 2 German shepherds play mates. There’re toys, treats, and couches to make your pet feel at home. There’s lots of windows in case your dog likes to watch their surroundings. I can spend as little as much time side by side your dog. If your pet is happy, I am happy!
