My extensive experience includes working at Wayside Waifs animal shelter when I was 18, followed by another shelter post-college, and then managing a pet store. When I receive a request for a in home visit or dog walk, one of my first questions is "How would you like me to use this time with your pets?" I understand that each animal can have very different needs and wants! Do you have an energetic dog that needs a good long walk or time to play outside? Do you have any cats or dogs that need some extra time (and maybe treats!) to warm up to me? I want to give you and your pets the best and most comfortable experience possible. About: I have cared for dogs and cats of all sizes and personalities for over four years, including puppies, seniors, and pets with special needs. Growing up with three dogs and three cats, I developed a deep understanding of animal behavior and needs. About: I’ve taken care of animals since I was a child. I’ve grown up around dogs and cats my whole life. Friends and family have trusted and relied on me to make sure their pets are loved and taken good care of. I’ve taken care of puppies, cats, and even senior age dogs. About: I’ve taken care of dogs of all ages for many years, and have 2 rescue pups. I work from home so I’m able to let give them plenty of attention throughout the day. I treat my dogs like my children and will do the same for yours! Working from home allows me to be available to give lots of love and frequent potty breaks. My dogs are let out every couple hours. When the weather is nice, the dogs get lots of play time in the yard! You can expect plenty of pics and updates of your pup during their stay. I live in a single family home with a spacious fenced in backyard for the pups to play and exercise. I have a doggy door, as well a gated doggy run and a large playpen inside (see pics). My dogs sleep in my bed, so I’m more than happy to allow your dog to sleep in bed with me, or I can crate them at night and when away if that's their typical routine. My home is safe and secure with a video security system inside and out so I can monitor the pups if I'm away.

Even though the times I originally requested were a little difficult for her schedule that day (it was last minute,) she did all she could to make it as close as possible- and ended up being there about the time I had requested anyway. I scheduled two visits in one day, and while I said the second visit only needed to be a feed and let out in the yard - she asked if they could still go for a walk. :) She was also very observant and noticed a small scratch on one of my dogs, sent a photo, and asked if I wanted her to treat it. I really appreciate all the attentiveness; and the above and beyond she provided for my babies. Most importantly, the dogs seemed to really like her too. :) We are already planning for her to return. About: I have taken care of various family pets from cats and dogs to horses and cows. I grew up around multiple farms and have been trusted in helping take care of these farmer's animals. I have kept multiple dogs and cats at my home for pet owners. I enjoy taking walks daily and love to have a friendly pet by my side! I can scoop cat litter, feed them meals, and snuggle them too!
