About: Hi there! I'm Stephanie, a lifelong animal lover with a passion for caring for pets. I grew up here in the Troutman area, surrounded by cats and dogs in the countryside, I've fostered dogs, volunteered at the humane society, and provided specialized care for senior pets and those with special needs like asthma, arthritis, and dementia. At home, I have a 20 pound ball of energy named Toby. He's been my best friend and partner in crime since adopting him in 2019. He's truly been a blessing and provided lots of love and entertainment in our home. My journey into professional pet care began recently when I had the pleasure of looking after my professor's two dogs during the winter break. It was a wonderful experience that confirmed my passion for this job and I've never been happier. I'm thrilled to extend my services to caring for your beloved pets. I'd love to help ensure they receive the love, attention, and companionship they deserve while you're away! Looking forward to meeting you and your furry friends! Living at home while attending college allows me to prioritize both my studies and pet care. I can organize my schedule to provide attentive care while fulfilling my academic commitments. I also aim to maintain a normal routine for your pets, so please share their usual potty-break cycles and feeding habits! Ensuring the safety, trust, and comfort of your pet is my top priority! Whether it's lengthy walks, outdoor playtime, or simply keeping them company, I'll adapt my care to suit their needs and your preferences. I'll follow any special rules or instructions you provide for your home and pet, ensuring a seamless and stress-free experience for both you and your baby!

About: I’ve taken care of dogs for as long as I can remember. My neighbors, friends, and family have all trusted me to take the best care of their dogs (I will also send so many pictures). I’m currently working part time at FYZICAL Therapy and Balance Centers. I work from 10am-5pm, so I have ample time to take care of your pet before and after work as well as an hour lunch break I can dedicate to checking on them. I’m great at following instructions and I pay very close attention to the details. Keeping every pet safe, happy, and healthy is my main priority.

About: I’ve taken care of my dogs and friends dogs for 18 years. WFH so I will be with them constantly! I have a lot of toys they can play with too! I’m a stay at home mom so I’m free almost any time from 10am-6pm! I will need to bring my baby with me. So dogs baby friendly required. I constantly make sure that there is enough water, toys, and comfort for the pets. I have a deck that they can go out on and enjoy the fresh air as well. My complex is very dog friendly! If I’m at your home, I’ll make sure that the pet has enough water or food, gets some fresh air, and lots of loving!

About: Growing up, my family spent Saturday mornings on our US Military base in northern Japan cleaning kennels, doing laundry, and playing with kittens. This resulted in two things: a love for animals + a deep appreciation for the inevitable work/sweat/cleaning that goes into caring for them. If you've ever spent any time volunteering at a shelter, you know how easily the inevitable happened- we came home with an adorable Russian blue, Walter Kroncat, from a litter we had helped to care for. 16 years, a few stamps in his kitty passport, and many moves later, our sweet boy passed away of cancer. Back stateside and a recent college grad, I became interested in my early 20's to care for other people's pets. This started with friends & family who knew my desire to monetize my love for animals to earn some extra cash, and eventually grew to a full year house & pet sitting experience for an older cat while his paw-rents lived abroad. I was competively selected from a public listing, participated in a phone screen, and then an in person interview with the family before being selected as their house and pet sitter. Most recently, I've spent a week in Salt Lake City, Utah, pet and house sitting for close friends with a 1 year old Corgi. I am now the proud parent of two precious bunnies, totaling 7 lbs of fluff: a Lionhead (6 yrs) & a Mini Rex (13 yrs). My paid pet sitting experience includes: dogs, cats, rabbits, and lizards. I'd love to chat more about your fur babies & see if we'd be a good fit! I recently left full time work for our move to NC, so my schedule is wide open! I often stay in town for the holidays, so I'm your go-to, reliable pet sitter when you're away on vacation. My goal is to keep your animal as comfortable as possible in their home environment. This includes their normal routine, feeding schedule, daily walks, etc. I know from my personal experience that our pets are the least stressed with minimal changes to their routines. For house sitting, I offer additional services, including: mail pick up, laundry, dishes, and light cleaning (upon request). I take detailed notes at our meet and greet, specific to your animal(s) and their needs, schedule, preferences etc, which I reference during their care.

About: I’ve been caring for animals since I was five years old, and pets have been a huge part of my life ever since. Over the years, I’ve had both dogs and cats, which has given me a deep understanding of their unique personalities and needs. I have hands-on experience with administering medications and caring for pets with medical conditions — including my own dog, who required special attention after surgery and while healing from a broken leg. I know how important it is to be patient, gentle, and attentive, and I treat every pet like they’re part of my own family. As a registered nurse, I work three days a week and only accept pet care bookings on my days off to ensure your pet gets my full, undivided attention. When I’m with your pet, they’re my top priority — whether that means walks, playtime, medication, or just lots of love and cuddles. I plan my schedule carefully so I can give each pet the dedicated care they deserve. I live in a quiet, pet-friendly neighborhood with plenty of space for safe, enjoyable walks and outdoor play. While my yard is not fenced in, all outdoor time is fully supervised to ensure your pet’s safety. Inside, my spacious three-story home gives pets plenty of room to explore and relax. I use baby gates to safely manage movement between floors and create secure areas for rest or play. I do not accept aggressive pets, as safety and comfort—for both your pet and mine—are my top priorities. Your pet will be in a calm, loving environment where they can feel right at home.

“Brent just dropped off my 3 year old Belgium Shepherd, Zur, after taking him on a run through the neighborhood. As promised he delivered him back, One Tired Pup, and full of smiles. A tired Dog is a Happy Dog !”

About: Warm, attentive, and experienced with house sitting and pet care. I provide loving companionship to all animals, ensuring they feel safe, happy, and truly cared for. After 15 years in corporate life, I chose a slower, more meaningful path as a stay-at-home wife—now I’m finding joy caring for animals every day. I care for pets like family—keeping routines, offering comfort, and sharing playtime, so they feel safe, loved, and like their favorite person had never left.

About: I am currently a sophomore at NC State but throughout high school and summers in between college I have had experience with pet sitting overnight, dropping in throughout the day or even just taking the pets on a walk to ensure they are still getting everything they need! I try to make pet owners life easier by ensuring they are in good hands and still in a good routine. I currently have availability on weekday mornings before 11, and in the afternoons after 3. Availability on weekends varies but is mostly open, just reach out and we can work something out! I always strive to communicate with the client to understand what there pets are used to because I believe keeping them in their normal routine is very important.

About: Over years of caring for various pets, I've gained experience in administering medications, managing dietary needs, providing gentle grooming, and, most importantly, fostering a loving and secure environment for their well-being. I work full- time M-F as a teacher.. Happy to board on weekends or just help with a dog walk. Will have way more availability after May 23. I have a big, fenced yard with plenty of space to run and play. I also have a 9 month old mixed breed male puppy. He is very friendly with kids and other dogs. Loves to play.

“Grace is the best, most reliable pet sitter we’ve ever used. She watched our two cats over long two week period, as well as many other shorter trips. We very much appreciated how Grace kept us completely up-to-date with pictures and texts on how the cats were doing, as well as of course being diligent that they had enough to eat, drink, clean litter boxes, and lots of love while we were gone. It can be stressful leaving pets in someone else’s care for a long period of time, but we truly never worried for a single moment when Grace was watching them. You won’t find a more responsible, friendly, thorough, and most importantly someone who will care about your pets like their own than Grace.
