“Joanne is a very friendly and easy going person. She took the time to do a home visit and meet my husband, my 2 greyhounds and myself before her first dog sitting job. The dogs appeared to feel very comfortable with her and she wanted to know about the dogs likes and dislikes. She explained how Rover Pet sitting worked and told me about how she would take pictures of the visit and her communication notes. The night she came for a home visit the pictures of the visit were all very positive and the girls appeared very happy.it was very nice to see them acting the same way they would if we were home. I feel very confident with her caring for our girls and will be using her again in the near future.”

About: I’ve had dogs my whole life from small to big, Terriars, Rottweilers, German Shepard, etc. I currently have a yellow lab named Rory. I have experience with all age dogs from puppies and elderly dog. I currently work full time 8-4:30 on weekday so I would be willing to come early morning, late afternoons, or nights. I am free anytime on weekends. I have an overly friendly Labrador at home who is very well trained. He goes on a walk at least once a day if not more but absolutely loves his big side yard where he gets to sunbathe! He has his spot on the couch where he naps most of the day away.

On breaks we always get outside to enjoy the weather and allow him to use the bathroom if needed. After work if I’m not busy I love to take him to the dog park or on another walk around the neighborhood. So I’m available every weekday from 5am-8am and after work from 6pm-9pm I have a big open yard that I have an electric fence for my dog to go out as he needs with or without me. When leaving the yard he gets his harness put on and a leash with poop bags. We walk on the sidewalk at all times. We stop and sit before looking to see if we can cross the road.

About: Having pets since I was 7, I have long understood the importance of animal care. Since I was in high school, friends, family, and neighbors have asked for my help in pet sitting and house sitting. Over the years I have taken care of horses, goats, sheep, rodents, reptiles, insects, fish, birds, and of course dogs and cats. Needless to say, I am not afraid of any animal and believe all living creatures deserve the top quality care. I have two years of experience majoring in Wildlife Care, and have taken many courses in animal husbandry. This, along with my Dog and Cat first aid certification through the Red Cross, has made me fantastic at caring for the medical aspect of animal care. I can administer medication and handle emergencies with a clear head and a focus on the animal's well being. In the past, I have taken care of my own elderly/disabled dogs as well as those of my friends and family. This includes dogs in hospice care that have needed to be carried. While I have less experience with puppies than I do elderly dogs, I have raised and trained my own current dog from 1 y.o.. I am not afraid of the mess or energy level of puppies and puppy teeth don't bother me! I am a barista and am returning to school in the fall. With odd hours for a regular job, I know I can lend my services to someone who needs it! I take care of animals in the way the owner sees best, whether that's yard time, or walks, or both! I have no problem crating a dog, cleaning up after an animal, and giving medications or food.

About: I have been surrounded by all types of animals since I was 5. I have taken care of countless animals. I have shadowed multiple vets. My experience isn’t just towards dogs/cats.. it extends to reptiles, bigger animals, etc. Pet care has always been a part of my schedule. I personally own a gecko, foster consistently, go to classes, team practice, all while providing adequate care and time with the animals. I always have the animal secure on a harness, aware of the surrounding environment, gates, food/water, blankets, and always lock the door if I am not home with the dog.

About: I will fully cater to your dogs needs, including diabetic and senior dogs- 20 years of loving and doting on dogs. I’m able to solely focus on your dogs wants and needs. I have a nice sized deck for fresh air and sunbathing (once the weather warms up!). I don’t have pets of my own anymore so I really enjoy having new friends to bond with. About: I have always been, and will always be an animal person. I have 2 dogs of my own currently: Lincoln (11 year old chihuahua), Ripley (3 year old Pit Mix); I also have a bunny named Bonsai (9 years old)! I have spent many years dedicated to the happiness and well-being of dogs of all ages ranging from 5 pounds to 150 pounds. I’ve socialized dogs for many years and can pick up on their cues of how they’re feeling, whether it be happy, anxious, or fearful. I’m well versed in medication administration as well, whether it be orally or topically given. I’ve prepped food that ranged from standard kibble to entirely raw. I’m also no stranger to cleaning up if a dog has an accident. I know how it is to worry when you’re away from your furry companions and that is why I uphold myself to high standards to make sure all animals are safe and well cared for while you’re away. I’m currently working full-time and am diligent about making sure my schedule is up to date as I like to stay organized and plan ahead. I work from 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM, Monday through Friday, and occasional weekend days/holidays. I have a fenced in yard. I have crates available in house if your dog is crate trained, whether it be for eating, sleeping, or general comfort/decompression. I have extra leads to make sure each dog is being walked safely. If your dog is on a retractable leash, I will make the call to use either a standard leash or British lead. It ensures the safety of both your companion and my own when on walks.

My cat Blue is treated like a Princess in my home- as she should. She rules this place. We love to sit near the window especially when the sun peeks through for sun bathing purposes. Dont even get me started when she hears a churu bag open- she becomes an Olympian sprinter. I am more than willing to do what is most comfortable for you & your pet! When it comes to cats I like to know which toys are their favorite so I know how to play with them comfortably. When it comes to dogs, just let me know which is the favorite ball & I’ll take it from there! All pets have their own quirks, so I like to make sure to go over everything with my clients beforehand so I can ensure to give your pet the best care possible.

About: I’ve had dogs growing up. Fell in love with all types of animals.I’ve been taking care of animals for over 10 years. Animals come first in my household! Then the kids lol just kidding! Animals are like my kids .. I work full time until 1:30 I have my evenings / nights free to walk, bathe and take care of your furry pets.And available for boarding over the weekend and or week! I have a 5 year old dog that loves other animals, i live in a townhouse and there is a lot of room to walk pups, we also have a park across the street with a dog park !
