About: I have owned and taken care of dogs, cats, and other pets for many years now. I thoroughly enjoy their company, and they seem to enjoy mine as well. I am very energetic and love spending time outside. As a carer for dogs, I believe strongly that they should get a ton of out door exercise. If you choose me as a care provider, you can be assured that they will be very active during their time with me, and location and temperament permitting, will have plenty of fresh air and green space to enjoy. In addition to loving on pets professionally, I work remotely from home as a grant writer. I make my own schedule, and can easily make time to get some fresh air. I live very close to Forest Hill Park, and spend lots of time there and the Buttermilk trail with and without dogs to walk. If you live elsewhere, I'll be exploring the green spaces near you with your dogs, and treating your personal space like the guest I am.

I have experience with reactive dogs, puppies, cats, and senior dogs. Excited to take care of your fur baby I’m currently a student at Virginia Commonwealth University. I am home for winter break, so I have plenty of time to take care of your fur babies. It is very important to me that all animals are safe and well cared for. I will follow all your instructions including walking and feeding schedule, as well as giving medication timely “ if applicable”.

About: I have owned animals my whole life. Since I was about 8 I was always the one responsible for their care and well being. In high school and throughout college - even now I was always the one friends and family relied on to care for their pets while on vacation or otherwise out of town. I am a college graduate and currently a full time mom and you can trust that I will be nothing but professional and responsible in your home and with your beloved pets. I work part time as a household manager and have open availability except for Monday-Thursday 4pm to 6pm so I have plenty of time to walk, play with, feed and give lots of pets to your pets! My husband works from home and will also be available to let out your dog for potty breaks if I happen to be out of the house. I am completely free on the weekends as well. Our home has a lovely fenced backyard where your dog can frolic and join us in a game of fetch. We have 1 friendly terrier who would love a doggy friend! We also have 1 reclusive cat and a 4 month old baby - please no dogs that would have issues with them in the home.

About: I’ve been caring for my own dogs and cats—as well as my neighbors’ pets—since childhood. I have always had one or more rescue dogs and am currently in the process of becoming a certified dog trainer. I am naturally conscientious and detail-oriented, and will provide an enriching and safe environment for your dog—giving you peace of mind and returning them to you happy and tired! I have several sizes of dog beds, pet stairs and ramp, a crate, bowls including an automatic water dispenser and slow feeders, toys, bones, treats, games, etc; the only thing you will need to bring is your dog’s food but I am happy to take any other items that may make your dog more comfortable! I am happy to share treats, please let me know if your dog should stick to food/treats you provide. I work from home, which allows me to easily coordinate feedings, walks, playtime, and any necessary medications. I also prefer to spend most of my time at home, so your dog will receive lots of dedicated attention and love! I truly enjoy getting to know each dog as an individual and providing an environment and activities best suited to their particular needs and personality. I have a large yard that’s securely fenced in both the front and back, giving your dog plenty of safe space to roam and play. When I’m home, I often leave the back door open so dogs can come and go as they please. I value clear communication and will provide consistent updates. I understand the trust involved in allowing someone else to care for a beloved pet and I take that responsibility seriously. I will treat both your pet and your home with the utmost care and respect. I am able to board several dogs at a time but meet all dogs beforehand and don’t accept more than 1 new guest at a time. If you prefer your dog to be the only guest please let me know and I am happy to accommodate if I have no prior bookings. I am not able to take dogs that are not fully house trained or mark inside the home. I always feed separately as a precaution.

We have both had dogs our entire lives, all sizes and life stages. We began Rover in 2019 after losing our 10 yr old black lab to diabetes, looking to keep our home lively. We are both excited to meet your pets and help out! I work from home and will be with your best friend all day long. I am up early for my morning walk and would love the company of your dog! I live in a great dog friendly community, we have lots of great green space and multiple dog parks within walking distance! Would happily spend the day with your dog at the dog park if that is a good place for them.
