About: Hi there! My name is Helen, and I’m a stay-at-home mom with two amazing children who absolutely adore dogs. Dogs are my passion, and they’ve always been a big part of our lives. In our home, your furry friend will be treated like family, because that’s exactly how we see them—an extension of our family! I’ve owned animals for my whole life. When I was in college I worked at a pet store which included animal care. After college I became a vet tech. I worked at an animal hospital for about 4 years. We are a busy household of 4, but pet care fits into our schedule daily. We live in a cozy, pet-friendly home with lots of space for your pup to relax and explore. We also have a safe, secure yard where they can run around and enjoy the fresh air. Inside, there’s no shortage of comfy spots for naps and lots of loving hands for belly rubs. Our days are filled with love, play, and care. About: I’ve taken care of so many dogs for over 5 year old. From dogsitting for friends and families dogs in the neighborhoods to walking them and making their gourmet foods! About: I’m passionate about dog care. I rescued my own dog about 6 years ago, at the beginning of COVID. I crate trained him and taught him basic commands. I love giving dogs the most perfect day by going on walks at different places and giving all the belly rubs! I have dog sat for friends in the past, my dog gets along great with new friends. I currently work in a hybrid role so I am flexible with the days I can work from home. I am mostly available Friday - Sunday for walks and checks in. During the week I am available in the evenings for walks. I closely pay attention to detail and instructions left so your pet is cared for the way you would! About: I’ve cared for pets since I was very young. I had many dogs of my own. Many different breeds from small to large dogs. I have gone to classes to get my certificate for grooming and vet assistant. I want to make this my primary job and will like to have a good loving and caring connection with my clients pets. I’m especially experienced with skittish or shy rescue dogs. Love cats as well! Offering walks, drop ins, and sittings in LI. Preferably only overnight sittings in NYC due to distance, LI sittings are fine for me to go back and forth to. For walks & drop in’s, I’m in Nassau county so wherever I can get quickly is best. Mostly available on weekdays but potentially some weekends. I can’t offer sittings at my home due to my dog, but more than happy to sit at yours. I love clear instructions on how to care for your pet so I can be sure to follow them for the pets diet, routine, and needs. Safety is a top priority, I’d be sure to keep any doors or gates closed and always be on the look out for any hazards. I would treat your home and pet the way I would mine. About: I have a German shepherd who gets treated like royalty; from her cozy bedding for her afternoon naps, to her healthy-quality treats, and even me changing up the route of her walk so she doesn't get bored, are a few things I do for her that keeps her energy and mood up. I have a huge heart and just genuinely care about living things because they have feelings too. Generally, I am a pretty reliable person; I don't have children and Rover Pet Care seems like the perfect position to supplement my schedule with emotional rewards. While caring for pets, I always keep an eye on them at all times (they can get into things that they aren't supposed to sometimes), when walking my dog, I never let her be in control and is trained to walk by my side with obedience. Treats should be given sparingly and after they have listened to a command. Lastly, discipline is important, especially at puppy stages in order for them to know what is right and wrong.

About: I have experience taking care of dogs of most sizes, I am able to give medication if needed, and I can help teach your dog to properly behave on a leash! My schedule is very flexible, so just let me know when I'm needed! I prefer if I could bring my dog so that they all play, she is an 11 lbs Havanese, and has high energy…but not obligatory! I can walk dogs, house sit (watering plants included), train (I’ve trained my service dog, and taught other dogs too!) and board them for a doggy daycare. I prefer if there are no cats…I am allergic.

About: I’ve taken care of my dog like a child since I was 5 and I love all dogs with my whole heart no matter the size or breed i’m available in the mornings and after I work at 7 I also am free on my off days of work to take care of pets I have a fenced yard and an a pen to put the dogs in.
