“This was my first time leaving my 8 month old puppy since I got him. He is a pretty anxious dog, which made me an anxious mother. They have a large fenced yard and two lively dogs; such a fun, busy weekend for my pup! I highly recommend them…”

About: I’ve owned dogs for my whole life as well as rabbits, cats, fish, and hamsters. I’ve professionally cares for cats, dogs, and horses as well as being a part time volunteer at the RHSPCA in my free time where I walk dogs and socialize with the cats I have experience caring for both senior dogs and cats as well as experience administering topical and oral medications for both kinds of pets. I am also able to house calmer large dogs however I know i unfortunately cannot provide adequate exercise for high energy dogs as I am a full time student and MRD so I will not be at the house sometimes for a few hours at a time. I am happily able to care for any breed of dog or cat as well as any care level however with animals on specially timed diets or routines may not work in my schedule so please message me to check in! Please feel free to message me at any time as often as needed, I will always have my notifications on and will at the latest respond within a day and will do my very best to be able to accommodate most, if not all animals <3 Currently I am a part time summer student as well as working part time however I have most weekday afternoons off as well as my weekends being entirely free If in my own home your pet will get their own room as well as having no interaction with the other pets (at your discretion) as well as only using food and items provided by the owner. If I do an in home care I am extremely respectful of other people places I will not bring anyone else over I will exclusively be there to care for the animals and that applies to dog walking as well. I intend to build good relationships with my clients as to build a good repertoire for my Vet school applications

About: I have previously worked as a vet assistant in a veterinarian's office and as the rescue/foster/adoption coordinator at an animal shelter. I have over 25 years of personal experience and 5 years of professional experience taking care of pets of all ages, sizes and temperaments. I can administer medications orally, topically, give injections, and IV fluids with confidence. I'll take care of your pet as as if they were one of my own! For drop-in visits in your home, I am flexible throughout the week and have availability on weekdays and weekends. I am happy to come by anytime between 7 am and 10 pm. For doggy day care or boarding in my home, my office is 5 mins away from home. My partner works from home during the week and is glad to tag in to help with pet care as needed. I have my own vehicle and can easily travel to care for your pet in the Harrisonburg or Rockingham County area. I am happy to care for your pet in your home according to any instructions or requests that you share. I am also happy to water plants or bring in mail if you wish. After a successful meet and greet, I would be happy to host your pet in my home. There's a fully fenced yard and ample grass to romp in and take care of business. I live in a quiet neighborhood and am game to take your dog on a walk with mine. Pets are welcome on the furniture and there's even space to snuggle up in the bed if they're used to bunking up together at night. Our 7 year old female Yorkie is very dog-friendly and enjoys having company. She's a good playmate if your dog is up for a little tug on a toy or chase in the yard. She's also good at reading signs from dogs when they're done playing or want to be left alone. We would love to welcome you to our home for a meet and greet prior to booking to make sure everyone gets along.

Jo B.
“We should be so lucky to have everything in traveling be as easy as having Jo take care of our pup. Jo is amazing. Our dog is a senior and does not like change. She took to Jo immediately. Jo completely understood her personality quirks. Jo is the first person who has taken care of her and she eats everyday we are gone. Jo takes pictures of our pup on every visit which sets our mind at ease. She loves playing ball with Jo and their visits together. My husband and I fully trust Jo with our girl and know that you will also.”
