I offer patient, loving care so your pet feels safe, relaxed, and truly at home while you’re away. 🐾💛 Recently my sweet dog passed away. I loved her for 14 years and although I’m not ready for a new dog, I’m super excited to take care of yours! I currently work part time so I have plenty of time to be with your pet. I am available during the week and on weekends. I have a fenced in yard with plenty of space outside and inside the house. Our medium sized dog recently passed away so our house is very much built around having a dog.

About: I have always had a dog since I was 8. I have had a disabled dog who could not walk or have control of his bladder, and now I have a 120 lb dog who has all the energy in the world. I have worked in an animal shelter for 2 years and have worked with all kinds of breeds and levels of dogs. I love spending time with dogs and connect with them in a special way. I am a student at James Madison University and am a second semester senior. I am very free and flexible with my schedule especially during the weekdays. On some days I don’t have classes till late afternoon so am free all morning and then later after them. I live in a clean and organized house where there is no potential for dogs to get into things. I have a small yard but not fenced in, but have a dog park right next to my apartment that I would love to use.

I would make sure the dogs or puppies stay in their environment so they feel comfortable and not anxious. I am accustomed to dogs being anxious which helps me recognize the signs.

About: I'm friendly with all kinds of pets, both kitties and doggos, I have a very peaceful home very welcoming to new critters. Plenty of room to run around and exercise. Currently working part-time for the summer, can easily give your fur baby's the attention they need whenever you're busy or out of town. Plenty of space behind the house to get them lots of exercise. Hardwood floors and a big grassy yard with a field behind the house. Very easy to walk super quiet neighborhood. Also have the ability to create your pets if necessary.

As a student, I have a flexible schedule with plenty of free time, which allows me to easily fit pet care into my daily routine. I’m able to plan my day around walks, drop-ins, and sitting so dogs get the attention, exercise, and care they need—not just rushed visits. Because I’m not tied to a strict 9–5 schedule, I can be reliable with timing and adjust to each dog’s routine. Whether it’s regular walks, playtime, feeding, or just spending time keeping them company, I’m able to give each dog consistent care and attention throughout the day. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I focus on keeping their routine as normal and comfortable as possible. I follow all instructions closely, including feeding schedules, walk times, medications (if needed), and any specific house rules. I make sure dogs get proper exercise, attention, and playtime, while also giving them calm companionship so they feel relaxed and safe. I always keep the home clean and secure and provide regular updates to owners so they know their pet is happy and well cared for.

About: I have cared for many pets of friends and family members over the years. Sadly, I had to put my own dog down this fall (13yo Boxer named Neeco) and am looking to get my pup fix through volunteering at the SPCA and pet-sitting/walking, as I am not quite ready to take on another dog just yet. I am comfortable with dogs of all sizes and ages, but I especially love senior doggos. I currently work part-time as an RN and make my own schedule, so am very flexible in that regard. Available for boarding most weekends Friday-Monday. My yard is unfenced but on a very private road with low traffic. Lots of trails and streams to explore if that is something your fur baby would enjoy! If not, we have a large deck and screened in porch for outdoor lounging, and big comfy couch by the fireplace for them to relax.
