She was very kind and comforting to Chip during his stay and sent video and photos of him throughout his stay. She was wonderful about staying in touch with us anc keeping us updated on his walks and meals and how he was doing in general. “Jo is a wonderful dog sitter! She cared for our shy rescue Cavalier Maggie who has some PTSD tendencies due to being raised in a puppymill overbreeding environment. About: I have taken care of pets for many years now for relatives, neighbors, and friends. It is something I enjoy to do when my schedule is open enough to do so! I am providing stop in, walking, day to day, and overnight care for pets. This includes regular activities like walking, playing, potty, feeding, car rides, cuddles, all included in the set price. I can also bathe the pets for an additional fee. I currently work full time my work day is typically split in half. Giving me the perfect timestamps throughout the day to check in on the pets. I work only in the Harrisonburg area so I am all around town. I am a local to Harrisonburg and know all the dog-friendly spots! Pet care fits into my daily schedule as I have always had pets until college, I am use to fixing my schedule around them, as pets are like children. I work short shifts where I drive to different clients all day, giving me many breaks throughout the day to spend time with the pets! I am a very neat and righty person. As I work with elderly patients, I am not afraid of bacteria or most things! I believe I am trustworthy for pet sitting as I have extensive experience in caring for humans.

“Hannah is a lifesaver! My husband and I had to attend a wedding near Harrisonburg, VA, which was a few hours away from home. We usually travel with our dog, Freya, so had to look for someone who can watch her while we attend the event. We couldn't do a meet and greet with Hannah and her dog days before the wedding since she's far but she took her chances with us. She sent us photos of Freya and she let Freya sleep on her bed, which was really sweet given she's only met Freya that same day. About: I'm friendly with all kinds of pets, both kitties and doggos, I have a very peaceful home very welcoming to new critters. Plenty of room to run around and exercise. Currently working part-time for the summer, can easily give your fur baby's the attention they need whenever you're busy or out of town. Plenty of space behind the house to get them lots of exercise. Hardwood floors and a big grassy yard with a field behind the house. Very easy to walk super quiet neighborhood. Also have the ability to create your pets if necessary.

About: I have cared for many pets of friends and family members over the years. Sadly, I had to put my own dog down this fall (13yo Boxer named Neeco) and am looking to get my pup fix through volunteering at the SPCA and pet-sitting/walking, as I am not quite ready to take on another dog just yet. I am comfortable with dogs of all sizes and ages, but I especially love senior doggos. I currently work part-time as an RN and make my own schedule, so am very flexible in that regard. Available for boarding most weekends Friday-Monday. My yard is unfenced but on a very private road with low traffic. Lots of trails and streams to explore if that is something your fur baby would enjoy! If not, we have a large deck and screened in porch for outdoor lounging, and big comfy couch by the fireplace for them to relax.
