About: I’ve been surrounded by dogs my whole life, from my first Jack Russell Terrier to a sweet (and feisty) Chihuahua and a lovable Morkie. All of my pets (except for my current Maltese-Yorkie mix, Dolly) have been rescues, so I’m well-versed in understanding the different needs of dogs from all walks of life. Growing up, I also took care of my neighbors’, friends, and family’s cats and dogs, which gave me even more hands-on experience with a variety of animals. I’m passionate about providing personalized care for each pup, whether they’re energetic and playful or need some extra TLC. About: Hello everyone! My name is MacKenzie, I am 21 years old, and I love animals of all shapes and sizes, but I do have the most experience with dogs. There has never been a time in my life where I haven’t had a dog. My family started out with a Labrador, then we got two Shih Tzu’s, and now I live with my boyfriend and we have a Boxador named Luna who is 9 months old with a bunch of energy! My friends and family have always entrusted my sister or I to take care of their pets, so when I heard about Rover I thought, “What better job is there than to hang out with doggos all day?” So, I signed up and I am excited to show your animals the same love and care you do! I moved to Raleigh recently and just got a new job as a Medical Esthetician at a spa. I am currently going through the process of building up my clientele at the spa I work at since I am so new; therefore, I have a decent amount of free time in between! I care for my dog typically by walking her twice a day, taking her to the dog park on weekends, cuddling her when she lets me, and taking her on fun adventures when I can bring her with me! About: I love all animals! I don’t have any because of my housing rules so I want to take care of your fur babies to get my animal fix! I am extremely flexible and caring. I take instructions well and am a fast learner. I am very observant, I will care for your home and pet like it was my own. I am also skilled in American Sign Language, as I am hard of hearing, and can teach your pet to respond to signs. I am also quick to respond with text in case of emergencies. I especially love puppies and kittens and am willing to clean up any messes. I am flexible on long term stay rates if you go on several day vacations. Thank you!

I have also fostered and taken care of a few dogs from the SPCA to give them a break from the shelter. I have helped watch friends and family dogs while they are away. We have a fenced in yard that we can let your dog out to run around with our Golden Retriever. We will also take them on nice walks around our neighborhood and on the trail by our house. We also have multiple bedrooms if they need extra room to relax.
