About: For me, caring for animals has never felt like simply “pet sitting.” They are family—and when someone is trusting me with a member of theirs, I take that responsibility to heart. I’ve been caring for pets since I was 13 years old, and today I help care for my family’s lively crew of four dogs and two cats. I’m comfortable with different breeds, personalities, energy levels, and ages—from the young and playful to the older companion who needs a slower pace, a little more patience, and extra tenderness. Senior pets hold an especially meaningful place in my heart. This past September, I said goodbye to Shadow, my Blue Heeler/Pit Bull mix, whom I had loved since he was just three months old. Loving him through his later years gave me a very personal understanding of both the beauty and the weight of caring for an aging pet. I understand the routines, vigilance, patience, and emotional energy that senior pet care can require. I also understand how difficult it can be for their people to step away—even for a weekend—because you worry that someone else won’t notice the little things you notice or care for them with the gentleness they deserve. That is one of the reasons I’m especially interested in supporting families with aging pets. Sometimes loving your pet well also means allowing yourself to rest, travel, celebrate a milestone, or simply take a break knowing they are in caring hands. Whether your pet is energetic and ready to play, independent and particular, or a senior who prefers a quiet companion and an unhurried pace, I meet them where they are. All breeds. All ages. Lots of love. My goal is simple: while you’re away, I want your pets to feel safe, comfortable, cared for, and loved—and I want you to feel at ease knowing someone is genuinely looking after them. I work from home, with either a daytime schedule of 10 a.m.–6 p.m. or an evening schedule of 4–11 p.m. This allows me to build pet care into my daily routine and make time for meals, bathroom breaks, play, and companionship. Being home is only part of it; paying attention matters just as much. Pets can’t tell us what they need in words, so I take time to notice their habits, body language, and little requests for attention. Whether that means a nudge for a bathroom break, an invitation to play, or wanting someone nearby, I care about learning how your pet communicates. I do have focused work periods, so we’ll discuss your pet’s routine and care needs before booking to make sure my availability is a good fit. This is especially important for older pets who may need more frequent check-ins or a particular schedule. I want to understand what a comfortable day looks like for your pet and how I can help keep it that way while you’re away. I start by learning the little things that matter to your pet: their familiar routines, favorite activities, where they like to rest, and how they let you know they need something. I follow your instructions for meals, walks, bathroom breaks, litter care, and rest, with time for play and affection on their terms. In your home, I keep your pet’s routine as familiar as possible and treat your space with care and respect. I let your pet get comfortable with me at their own pace, whether they’re ready to play right away or prefer a quieter introduction. Senior pets are especially close to my heart. Caring for my dog Shadow through his later years taught me the importance of patience, gentleness, and noticing small changes. I’m happy to move at an older pet’s pace, and we’ll discuss any health, mobility, or supervision needs beforehand so I can be clear about the care I can reliably provide. Before you leave, we’ll confirm care instructions, veterinary and emergency contacts, and your preferences for photos and updates. I want you to feel comfortable sharing the details—even the ones that seem small. They’re part of knowing your pet, and they matter to me, too.

About: I’ve always had a love for animals and enjoy spending time with them! I have a dog of my own that I’ve been caring for over the past year, so I understand how important it is to make sure pets feel safe, happy, and loved. About: There is no kind of pet I haven’t cared for. From special needs, disabled, old, young, wild and tame, my experience stretches for miles, as does my love! I work in special education and am an army wife! That means I have ample time to go for walks, give belly rubs, and so much more after working hours. About: As a child I've grown up with multiple animals as animals as pets, including a few dogs and a few cats. Professionally, I've had four total years taking care of different animals, which includes supervising dogs as well as helping various animals such as cats, guinea pigs, and other animals get adopted. I have had general experience feeding, walking, bathing, nail trimming, and over all playing with and supervising dogs. I also have had experience taking care of elderly and disabled animals, which includes but is not limited to a 19 year old cat with arthritis and kidney disease. I have experience giving animals oral medications at the correct times and have been consistently. As of right now, I am offering house sitting, drop-ins and dog walking. As of right now, all seven days of the week are generally free for me and I am home most of the time. However, there may be some days where I'm not available, such as certain holidays or family events. If something happens where I can't take care of your animal(s) (such as an emergency), I'll try to let you know ahead of time. I'll always keep your animals supervised regardless of whatever service I'm doing at the time. If your animal takes medications, I'll administer them at the correct times.

About: Since I was a kid I’ve had dogs, birds, reptiles, and more! I’m experienced with all kinds of animals, from puppies to senior pets. I would love to care for your best friend this summer! Open to house sitting, drop ins, and whatever is convenient to you. Outside of pet sitting, I’m a senior at Stevenson University and an EMT in Baltimore county. I will be out of town from May 31-June 4, and July 10-18. I am also returning to college in late August. My schedule is otherwise very flexible! My schedule is very flexible while I am home from college for this summer. I will be out of town from May 31-June 3 and July 10-18. I leave back to college in late August. I have a friendly senior dog at home that gets along with other pets and children. I am also open to home visits, drop ins, and whatever is convenient to you! “Anh was amazing with Pico. She jumped in last minute and handled everything so thoughtfully - including some unexpected tummy issues and his occasional puppy chaos. She kept me fully updated the whole time and sent lots of great photos, which I really appreciated. It made such a difference being able to see how he was doing. Pico is used to being with me all the time, so social interaction is really important for him. Anh adjusted to Pico’s needs and routine and also made him part of hers - giving him so much extra love and attention. You can’t always guarantee that level of care when you’re away, and I’m so grateful I never had to worry. About: I have tons of experience not only as a pet owner but as a veterinary assistant, I am pretty efficient in dealing with even the most troubling pups and even have training experience to curve some of the most common but unacceptable behaviors. Pet care is almost therapeutic for me and I’ll treat your baby just like my own , I come with tons of advice from healthcare , toys and training.
