“Leah would offer very comfortable vibe to my dog while she was staying at her house. When my dog was playing at the backyard in Leah’s house, she sent me the picture taken that my dog was chasing squirrels. Looks like she wants to visit again since she was naturally heading to Leah’s house, while we were walking. I’ll probably ask again Leah to take care of my dog!”

“I booked last minute daycare for my pup with Rachael and he had a blast! I really appreciated the multiple photos and that Rachael slowly integrated my pup into playing with other dogs she had with her. Would definitely rebook!”

About: My family pets have been my primary pet care since I was little girl, and I truly adore every furry friend that I am fortunate to meet. I grew up with three cats and four dogs, and I love furry friends of all types. Friends and family have trusted me to take excellent care of their pets for several years. I am also familiar with different pet personalities and older pet needs. I got my first dog, Calumet, this summer and have had a great time training him (and getting lots of snuggles). We would love to help you with your furry loved ones during my free time, while giving them the extra love they deserve. Taking care of pets has been a part of my routine for several years, and having Cal makes it part of my normal routine. I work mostly from home, so my schedule is flexible. I am an active person who loves to spend time outdoors. My home as a yard and there several walking paths nearby where I can take your pet for a walk or to play. I can also accommodate any needs you would prefer in your own home.
“Sharon is great! Super responsive. Even came to rescue Mia this morning when my car broke down. Mia loves Sharon and cries with excitement every time we get close to Sharon’s neighborhood.”

“Angela and Stephen are good dog sitters and even better people. Bella is always worn out with a smile on her face every time she gets to stay with them. 5/5 would recommend to anyone wanting great care for your beloved pet!”
“I cant say enough good about Catherine. She is extremely professional and she has a true passion and love for dogs. And it shows. I had a vet appointment set for Willow that I needed to reschedule and Catherine offered to take her! That to me is just awesome. Catherine really is great at what she does and I would not hesitate to use her again.”

About: I’ve always had a variety of dogs. Currently we have a long-haired dachshund named Roger and a mysterious mutt named Ed. Roger loves new friends and Ed is happy to sleep next to them. We adopted them as senior dogs. We have a fenced yard and six chickens. My husband Phillip and I look forward to taking care of your dogs. He works from home several days a week so will be available for frequent walks, and if he has to go into the office, I will come home at lunch for a walk. We have a good sized fenced yard for play time, and we live a couple blocks from a dog park so there are plenty of opportunities for outside time. We like to take the dogs on several walks a day. If you have a big dog who likes to run, we can go for runs too. We also have two small-dog crates if your dog likes crate time.
“Kaitlin was very sweet and was able to watch Vinny for me on short notice. She sent me a photo of him with the other pups she was sitting and was an excellent communicator! Our first experience with Rover was a great one thanks to her!”

“Suki had a great time! Mariah was very sweet and texted immediately whenever I was being a nervous Nelly and checking in on my pup. Suki came home and went straight to sleep so I count that as a win!”

“They were amazing with Boseman and were incredibly responsive. I appreciate them for taking Bosey in at the last minute. He was living his best life. They had treats and enrichment activities. He came home tired! Will use again”

“Tina was great! This was our first time with a new rover in a new city. She was very communicative, sent great photos, and flexible on a last minute booking. Her home has a great yard for a pup to roam. I would definitely book with her again. Felt very safe leaving our dog with her and her family :)”

“Late yesterday evening, we decided to spend the day out of town. On very short notice they were able to take in Nyko. I think he had a blast. It gave us a lot of freedom on our day away as well.”

“Jared and Waverly were great with our dogs, and even managed to get my curmudgeon named skittles to positively interact with a couple older dogs! They were flexible and understanding of my changing schedule, as we were on a road trip and only needed help for a few hours. If I’m ever in Louisville with the doggos again I’d contact them straightaway”

“Kimba had a great time with Sarah. She took great care of Kimba and sent pictures throughout the day. Sarah is very responsive and makes me feel at ease. Kimba has a lot of separation anxiety and it was clear from the photos and when we picked her up that she’d had a great day. I know Kimba was in good hands with Sarah. I’d use her again next time we are in town.”

“Cassie took good care of Perro. She kept me updated with pictures and text's which made our first experience with Rover less stressful. Perro enjoyed playing outside in her fenced-in yard.”

About: I’ve had pugs for over a decade and a French bulldog briefly. I’ve sat for my friends and cousins corgis, golden retrievers and Boston terriers. Love the snores, the drools, and cuddling with them. Dogs are always welcome on my furniture and in the bed. I enjoy pampering them with belly rubs, butt scratches, massages and just goofing around with them. I work different jobs and at times have flexible schedule. Also I work close to my home so it’s easy for me to come home and check on the guest doggies at home if needed. I stay in a condo building and I can walk them (on leash) around the condo. My condo complex has a nice walking path for dog walks and it is a fairly quiet with very little traffic. Plenty of green space around. I have a small fenced in private yard too.
Maryhill Estates dog parents share their Rover experiences
Barbara took great care of Lola for us! I had a last minute trip into town to visit a sick friend. July 4th weekend so finding any of my usual dog sitters was not an option. Used Rover for the first time and Barbara did a great job with Lola. Received pictures and had great communication through the sitting. I absolutely would use Barbara again!
