About: I grew up with large breeds and have had dogs my entire life. I lived with all different kinds of foster dogs and now have one 5 year old dog at home. My husband and I are teachers who are home full time in the summer, so we can provide a lot of attention and love to any dog that comes to stay with us! I am a teacher who is home for the summer. I get up early to take a morning walk and avoid the summer heat and take another evening walk. I love taking my dog to the beach to swim throughout the week, as well. I live in a home with a yard (unfenced) and a 5 year old poodle mix to keep your pup company. Lots of walks and time spent snuggling will help keep your dog happy when they stay with me.

About: I used work at a doggy daycare and have experience handling dogs of every size from itty bitty to huge! I had my own dog (rest in peace Sadie 💞) and have volunteered on and off at pet shelters for most of my life, caring for cats and dogs alike. I'm a huge dog lover that will give your fur baby the best day ever, full of love and cuddles! I love long hikes and would love to tire out your pup so you can spend more quality cuddle time! I live in downtown Ferndale that has amazing parks, I frequent many nature areas in the surrounding area and am very familiar with them, and I can walk for hours at a time if needed! About: I have grown up loving and caring for dogs of my own as well as others. I have always been the person people always call when they have some kind of animal emergency. I absolutely love animals and know a lot about taking care of them and many different types. They will get lots of attention and quality care from me. I will spoil your baby as much as you will let me! I can administer any medication necessary. My dog takes pain meds twice a day so we are already on a medication routine. I have a flexible schedule so I can meet most needs. I keep in contact with you asap if there are any changes that are needed I live in a charming small house in the corner of Ferndale and a very quiet and peaceful neighborhood. I have a fully fenced in backyard that is about 97% privacy fence. There’s one little corner where my dog can talk to the dog in back through a chain-link fence. Lots of shade and grass

About: I have been caring for both cats and dogs my entire life, personally and professionally. This includes disabled + senior care! I do my best to match the energy & demeanor of each animal; if they are extra active & playful, I’m prepared to keep up! If they are more timid & anxious, I’m very gentle, patient, & soft spoken. I love animals a lot & I’m a natural when it comes to meeting their needs. I have an office job 3 days a week as well as a 4-year old but my time is shared and very flexible. I’m free by 4pm every single day and weekends are open. I have a 4 bedroom house with 2 cats & some gates so I generally keep them separated. My backyard is fenced in as well

About: I am an outgoing and affectionate caretaker who loves to work with dogs and improve their training. I have volunteered at the humane society, worked at an established dog boarding facility, and am comfortable with all dog breeds. I have lots of free time and plenty of energy to keep up with your outgoing dogs! I am patient with animals and give them time to feel comfortable with me and adjust to new environments at their own pace. If your dog is a couch potato who just wants to lounge around, I am capable of lazing around and giving them plenty of scratches and rub downs. I would want your fur baby to be as cozy and happy with me as possible! I am employed as a server, but in my spare time I enjoy dog sitting and walking people’s dogs, as well as my own. I perform routine cleanings in my home using pet safe products and disinfect in between boardings. My dog, Taki is up to date on vaccinations and treated with flea, tick, and heart worm preventative. I am extremely responsible and trustworthy when I am entering/leaving or staying for a duration of time in a client’s home. I attempt to leave your house cleaner than I found it, and to ensure your pets are happy and very well taken care of while you are away.

About: I have been pet-sitting since I was a little kid, and grew up with a mom as a vet, so a love of animals and concern for their well-being is deep in my bones. I was a volunteer at an animal shelter for three years, fostered cats and dogs for four years, and currently have two cats of my own. I love caring for cats, dogs, rodents, fish, and exotics of all ages. :) I work full time, so I can drop in early in the morning or evenings. Weekends are typically open and more flexible. About: My husband and I work from home and have very flexible schedules that allow us to be present with our pets during the day. There are no kids in the home during the day during the week. Typical day include walks around the neighborhood or nearby park, lounging or playing in the backyard or the dog park. Plenty of toys for chewers and plenty of space in our fenced yard to roam and play. I currently work from home as a technology sales rep. When I am not working, I’m entertaining both my toddler and pets. I often have a decent amount of free time and dog sitting has been a great outlet for my dog to socialize and get some fun in! For repeat pets, I have noticed a big difference after a few days of adjusting. Its important for pets to feel safe in whatever space they are in.

About: In a fast paced environment it is easy to overlook our place in the world as animals. Being in close contact with other beings can create connectedness and a sense of place in nature. Simple tasks like dog walking may seem beneath most people, but I see it as an act graciousness and a chance to connect to other beings. As a walker or sitter my goal is to consciously occupy space with your pet. This, for me, means accommodating and changing as situations seem fit. I would also like to stay conscious of any owners wishes and feelings regarding the service I may provide and remember that it is only a service if it works to make their and their pets experience more comfortable.
