About: I have owned and cared for pets my entire life. I'm recently retired from a long career as a professional equestrian and horse trainer, and I'm excited to begin this journey of offering pet care services to the community! I have experience with all types and ages of pets ... from very young to very senior. I have experience administering medications, giving injections, and basic first aid. My lifestyle is active, and I'm happy to provide whatever exercise that your pet needs, whether that is a long trail hike, or simply walks around the neighborhood. And lots of love and snuggles of course :) I also have extensive horse experience, and limited experience with other livestock, and I'm happy to provide services for those animals as well. I currently work from home and have an extremely flexible schedule, which allows me to work around whatever your pet care needs are. I have a reliable 4 wheel drive vehicle, so I can get to some of the further out Nevada County destinations no problem. I pride myself on being punctual, organized and reliable, and you can rest assured that your pet(s) and home will receive attentive and loving care. I am happy to take care of any additional tasks that you might need around your home while you're away (checking mail, taking out trash, watering plants/garden, etc. )
“I couldn’t have asked for a better sitter for my dogs, Cali and Louie, on Valentine’s night! Jillian was incredibly reliable, communicative, and caring from start to finish. She made sure my pups were comfortable, well cared for, and given plenty of attention. It’s clear she truly loves animals and goes above and beyond to make them feel at home. I felt completely at ease knowing they were in such good hands. If you’re looking for a trustworthy, responsible, and loving pet sitter, I highly recommend booking with Jillian!!”

“I can definitely say that after being gone for eight days I was very appreciative for what I came back to. I've had my challenges with the dogs so for someone to come in a take over for a week seemed a little daunting however Yolanda came through with 5 stars... I have no doubt the dogs were well taken care of as all instructions left were meticulously followed and the dogs were definitely well cared for not to mention the house was cleaner then I left it. There's nothing better then coming back from a vacation with well taken care of dogs. Would definitely recommend for worry free dog sitting”
“Simone had great communication and was amazingly flexible with our timing needs - during a holiday weekend on top of that! Having peace of mind while away was much appreciated. She was respectful and easy going. Would definitely have her back to watch my mischievous pittie anytime!”

About: Friends and family can always relay on me to take care of their pet when needed. Love giving them the attention they want and deserve! I work for myself so my schedule is flexible and I have plenty of room in my day to take care of your pet. Walk them, feed and play. I’ll take care of your dog just how you would like me to and send photos if you miss them and want to know everything is ok!
“Mikayla has been outstanding with our two GSD’s! She is very in tune to their separate personalities and is very patient with our baby King, who is shy with new people in his space. I appreciate her patience and advanced knowledge of this breed. We feel at ease and comfortable leaving the boys in her care at our home when we are away.”
About: I am an animal lover and have been caring for various house pets for over 10 years. I recently graduated from UNR with a degree in Wildlife Conservation & Ecology, and believe my education and background is evident in the excellent caretaking I provide. Taking care of your pet is a passion for me, not a side job. I know what it’s like to have to leave your fur babies at home (I have an adorable & very energetic husky sharing a home with me) and I want to serve the community by giving authentic and genuine care to your pets while you are away. I am 100% dedicated to providing you with the highest quality of care for your animal, allowing you the peace of mind you deserve. I am currently at home full time, and have open availability to create a set-schedule with your pet, or just drop in when needed. I am here for YOUR needs, so let me know how I can serve you best. I pride myself in living an active and healthy lifestyle. I have a husky mix puppy and she is very friendly and energetic. She loves to hike, go to Tahoe, and rock climb. I enjoy having dogs that she can play with, but she loves older or more slow-paced dogs as well. We typically go on a hike every week, or go to the dog park since she is so active and loves to play. I can cater to any type of dog, any dietary issues, and am comfortable administering medicine. I’m currently a stay at home mom, so I have lots of time for your pets. My son loves all animals and Indy our husky is extremely friendly and loves having friends visit as she is an only dog ;) We typically spend the day all together downstairs doing art, teaching my son & playing. My whole downstairs is dog friendly and we are typically home the majority of the day since we still do naps. ****We have chickens in a coop in the backyard**** never been an issue in the past with the dogs I have Rovered. They are secured.
“Ashley was very caring with my two little ones. She gave me periodic reports and I felt comfortable with the care she gave them. She knew about meds and handled giving them. This was important since my two are older dogs.”

“Sienna did a fantastic job caring for our husky dog. She also did a terrific job watering all our yard plants and she washed the bedding & towels before she left! Highly recommend!”

“When we found ourselves in a pinch with our previous pet sitter canceling 3 days before a multi-week vacation abroad, Lauren saved us. Not only did she offer to stay, she came by to meet us and our dog to sense if it would be a good fit for all involved. She was a great vibrational fit for us and we sensed immediately what a good person she was. During the say, she communicated well with us about our home and our dog. When we arrived home, we found our dog well and balanced, a clean and orderly house and plants thriving. We can't say enough how lucky you would be to have someone as responsible and compassionate as Lauren care for your animal and home. We'd ask her back in a heartbeat.”

About: I’ve been caring for animals from house sitting to dog walking since my teenage years, and it’s been one of the most rewarding parts of my life. Neighbors, family friends, and family have trusted me to provide exceptional care for their furry companions. My deep love for animals led me to volunteer at the UCD Vet Center during high school, where I assisted veterinarians in hands on care. Later, I dedicated time to shelters like the Davis SPCA and the Pacific Palisades SPCA in Los Angeles, working with rescue animals and learning how to nurture even the most vulnerable pets. Over the years, I’ve rescued and rehabilitated numerous animals, many of whom became cherished members of my family. It’s been an incredible journey watching them thrive, whether it’s a senior dog finding comfort or a shy kitten finally coming out of their shell. My approach is rooted in holistic care, recognizing that diet, environment, and emotional well-being are just as important as physical health. I’ve seen firsthand how natural remedies, proper nutrition, and mindful interaction can transform an animal’s quality of life. Whether your pet needs a lively walk, a playful home visit, or overnight care while you’re traveling, I’d love to be their trusted companion. I believe in tailoring care to each animal’s unique personality, whether that means helping calm anxious pups or adjusting activities for a senior dog with mobility challenges. Feel free to ask me anything—I’m happy to share references or discuss how I can best support your pet’s needs. Looking forward to meeting your four-legged family member and giving them the same love and attention I’ve given animals my whole life! I am currently really flexible with days and hours available. I am working from home right now which allows me this flexibility. Open m- f as well as weekends I have a fenced yard and one dog at home that loves and gets along with all animals and is super friendly. I have plenty of space and separate rooms in the house along with a gate I can put up if your fury love wants a little space of their own for play time!
