“I was traveling through the area with my 4 legged son Ruger and had a noodling tripped scheduled last minute and needed a sitter for him. About: Hey there, I am a service dog handler and have been providing pet care for over ten years. There is a beautiful park very nearby (Paul Emery Park), which I walk Charlie (and hopefully your pup) at several times a day. I also have a dog company I recently started; a veteran owned and operated small business called "Charlie's Chewies", making homemade natural, high quality dog treats right out of my kitchen. (Of course your pup will be getting a "few" during their stay). :) Your pup would be more than welcome taking in all the delicious smells and sights. If they are crate trained, it will help them stay calm with overnight stays. However, I don't leave dogs in crates at all during daycare sessions, or during the day at all. They are next to me at all times. Chances are pretty good, they will be getting a few treats snuck in during the day. I have a bundle of dog toys, and a wonderful loving dog who LOVES other dogs. All I ask is your pet be updated with vaccines, be in good health, and friendly with other dogs and humans. I work from home. I make dog treats out of my own kitchen during the day. I also am writing dog-themed books for children in my spare time. Therefore, my dog is always within reach, as he loves snuggling up on the bed next to me. Other than that, you will find us walking in the park often, getting sniffs in, and pee's out :) I have a medium sized apartment, and a loving fur baby who keeps me company. We are situated next to a large, open, lovely park called the "Paul Emery Park", which we frequent multiple times a day. The breathtaking scenery is perfect for lonely dogs needing something to pass the time until you get back.
