About: Your boy/girl is probably not going to like that you are going away, but I know how to minimize their discomfort. I am a friendly young man, very well versed in animal behavior with plenty of time and energy to devote to keeping your dog happy. I have 1 medium sized dog. My pet is treated like family and I appreciate their company very much. I will appreciate your dog’s company as well. I work 1 block from home. Your dog can hang in the house, in their crate or in a partitioned room I have lots of options for all sorts of temperaments and training. I walk my dog when I wake up, then sometimes a short walk after work. Dogs are welcome to roam the house (1500sq ft). When outside I have a tightly fenced in yard, attached is a newly constructed 2 car garage (empty) with concrete floors perfect for cooling off on hot days. Water is always plentiful and refreshed often whether inside or outside. I am available around the clock, and am never far from home. I rarely go out and when at work I use a webcam to watch the dogs. Animals are visited every 3 hours on days that I work. I always send photos when the dogs go walking as proof of service; I also send photos periodically as most owners enjoy this. Fenced in yard, plenty of room; I have 3 XL animal crates for visitor’s use if preferred. I also have AirTags which I put on my guests during their stay for added safety.

About: I’ve taken care of numerous types of dog breeds since I was a child. My neighbors, friends, and family have asked me on tons of different occasions to care for their furry friend. I’m experienced in difficult situations such as potty training or senior care and good at administering medications. Young professional with tons of free time before starting a full-time job in the fall. I’d be happy to take care of your pet as if they are my own! At my apartment, I have a gated backyard and live in a super walkable neighborhood with a park nearby that my own pup enjoys to go to. I prefer to watch pets at their home where they are comfortable and know their surroundings. I can provide all the play and activity they need in their environment and may crate them if needed.

Both of my dogs eagerly await Brandi's visits. She walks my puppy, gives treats to my senior chihuahua, and sends me a detailed summary along with great pictures. I love knowing my pets are safe and well taken care of with Brandi.

About: I've been a caretaker of dogs, cats, parrots, rats, rabbits, reptiles, horses, emus, pigs, goats, sheep, waterfowl, poultry and wildlife for over 20 years. I worked professionally at a boarding facility for years. I have knowledge in training and behavior for a variety of spieces. I'm experienced in administering medications to about any animal you could think of. I have a Pomeranian and Bichon Frisé Shih Tzu that I love to groom myself as a hobby. So if you wanted to discuss a possible hair cut for your dog during his/her stay, I'd be open to that! I wanted to add, I've been away from Rover since Oct. 2022. I'm back on as of Jan. 4th 2026. I only work away from home 3 days a week, for 4 hours at a time, and it's 7 minutes down the road from my house. Allowing me to spend most of my time at home with your pets! On the days I'm gone for a few hours, my husband is home. I have multiple different fenced in areas for exercise and safe potty brakes. Ranging from 4ft high fencing, all the way up to 8ft high fencing (assuming they wouldn't mind a few emus or goats walking around). I can accommodate the snuggly dogs that can't bear to be left alone long and also anti-social/more difficult dogs who just needs a place to stay and it's difficult to find options for. I have several "Retriever" kennel panels and can build either outdoor kennels with dig proof wire floor or indoor kennels in my walk-out basement (if requested).

About: I’ve bathed, fed, walked, and taken my family’s dog for ten years before headed to college, so I have experience with every age of dog. I work at Aisin Electronics in Marion Illinois but have Wednesdays off as well as weekends. Other than going to the gym on those days, I have a very open schedule. When I’m home moose has free roam of the house and will ask to play or go outside whenever he wants. Usually I start to mess with him and get him riled up before I get him to play.

About: I grew up around animals of all kinds- from dogs to iguanas to chickens. At 18 I got my own place and rescued 2 puppies. Fast forward 2 years, I fostered 2 new pups- ended up keeping 1 and gifting my parents with the other. I can take your dog for walks, to the park, hiking, check on them at home.. Whatever you’re comfortable with! I have such a deep passion for working with animals and I will nurture yours as if they were my own. I look forward to giving your dogs the proper care and love they need while you’re away! I work remote and live in town which gives me a lot of flexibility and availability. I have 3 dogs (10yr, 8yr and 5.5yr) so I'm super comfortable with feeding/walking/playing with animals. I live in an apartment with a huge back yard area. I also have an SUV which I can take your pups to the park or hiking if that's something you'd be interested in!

About: I’ve had pet dogs my entire life. My beloved childhood dog was a German Shepard named Stella, and the dog I had from my late childhood till recently was my soul dog, a Shih Tzu named Daisy. For as long as I can remember, I have always had a special interest in dog! The Westminster Dog Show is my SuperBowl! I love to learn about specifics of dog breeds and what makes them special/stand apart from the other breeds! I’ve been walking dogs since I was 14 for people around my neighborhood but stopped when schooling became more demanding. It’s something I’ve always loved and I’m ready to get back into! I’m so excited to get to walk the amazing dogs of Southern Illinois! ☺️ Currently in between jobs which gives me plenty time to walk your furry family member! I love short walks and long walks, and also exploring local nature trails! From German Shepherds to Shih Tzu’s, I’ve learned to love dogs of all sizes! Walking your dog is a necessary part of their wellbeing, and I intend to create a safe environment for your dog to enjoy nature and stretch their 4 legs!
