About: I raised my dog as a child for 15 years then raised another dog as an adult for 15 years. I cannot own a dog right now, so would love the opportunity to care for dogs again. I am back in central Jersey, taking care of my Mom full time, giving me available opportunity for dogs 24/7. I have no full nor part time job, so much much down time here. I have a large empty townhouse in central Jersey with only one other inhabitant-sweet adorable senior Mom. There is an outdoor patio and courtyard, that leads to the grounds of the community where there is a dog walk and plenty of green grass to run and walk on. We have a large empty room that I can play fetch with a dog, and throw a toy on a rainy day or anytime.

“Josephine’s first stay with Pardeep was seamless. Pardeep was very accommodating with my schedule and provided a safe, calm, enjoyable day for Jo. He kept me up to date on her as the day went on and that is always reassuring. His dogs were friendly and respectful which I greatly appreciate due to Josephine being a senior. I would gladly recommend him and will seek his care for Josephine again soon.”

“Xinzhi was wonderful! She sent lots of updates, was very thorough in asking about Sherlock’s needs and owner’s desires, and was very very understanding about timing mistake on my end. Sherlock had a great time with her her dog Bella! We will def be back!”

“Our baby enjoyed his day with Esther, she sent us lots of pictures and updated us almost every hour which I lovvveeeeee as it helped with our anxiety leaving our pup while we were at work. Thank you so much Esther! 🥰🥰🥰 Highly recommend”

“Noria took the time to meet up with me the day prior to make sure my dog could meet her. She took great care of her, sent me pictures throughout the day, it was easy to tell my dog didn’t want to leave upon being picked up! Highly recommend her and would gladly book again.”

“We’ve gone to Kate for over a year and our anxious dog Archer just loves her. It’s such a relief to know he’s safe comfortable and happy so we can relax and enjoy our time! Thank you Kate!”

About: I have watched, walked, and taken care of all kinds of dogs for the past 6 years. I have a Red Fox Lab named Trout who is my best friend that I take everywhere with me. He is the reason I started taking care of other people's pets. He deserves the best and so does every dog. I love walking dogs and making sure that they get the proper exercise they need. I also am very aware that every dog has different needs and personalities which allows me to provide customized care for every dog. I am currently a stay at home dog mom available all days of the week. I recently decided to move to New Jersey because of my husband who plays for the Somerset Patriots. I brought our slightly spoiled dog Trout (Lab) with us who gets along great with other dogs. We have a very spacious and luxurious apartment that's only 10 feet away from the complex's private huge fenced in dog park where they can run around and burn some energy. I have been caring for animals for around 6 years now and understand how scary it can be leaving your pet with someone else. My goal is to make your pets feel at home and to give you the peace of mind that your pet is in great hands!

About: Even though I don’t have years of professional experience, I treat every pet as if they were my own. I’m very patient, responsible, and I pay close attention to each dog’s personality and needs — whether it’s playtime, cuddles, or quiet walks. I’m also great with routines and following your instructions exactly, and I love sending photo updates so you can feel at ease while you’re away. I may be new, but I’m 100% committed to providing loving, reliable care. Pet care is a big priority in my daily routine. I have a flexible schedule and spend most of the day at home, so I’m able to give pets the attention they need. And if I’m ever unavailable for a short moment, my husband is also home and happy to help — so your pet will never be left alone or unattended. I keep a calm, loving environment with regular walks, playtime, and cuddles, always adjusting to each pet’s needs to make them feel safe and comfortable. I take pet safety and comfort very seriously. In my home, I create a calm and loving environment where pets feel safe and cared for. I always keep the space clean, secure, and free of anything that could be harmful or stressful. I don’t have a yard, but I take dogs on regular walks and to the park for playtime, depending on the weather. Pets are never left alone for long — I spend most of the day at home, and my husband is also here to help if needed. I follow each owner’s instructions carefully and make sure your pet’s routine, diet, and habits are respected. Whether it’s in my home or yours, your pet will be treated with love, patience, and full attention.

“I was refereed by a friend to Rover app, for my emotional support dog. Hercules was my deceased sons bestfriend who has been with us as a family for 7 yrs, but my emotional support for 4 yrs. I am so thankful to have found Ahmad through the app. He excepted my dog in such short notice yesterday. Ahmad sent photos and gave updates of the care throughout the day. He opened his home to my fur baby. This was my first time ever using the app and Ahmad is my first choice care for Hercules”

About: I only care for one pet at a time (with the exception of households with multiple pets). I previously owned both dogs and cats for many years and also have experience pet-sitting for family and friends. I work from home, so I will be here with your pet the entire time they’re in my care. I love dogs and cats, so my priorities are always to ensure their safety, comfort, and that they have an amazing time while they’re here. I currently don’t have any pets here with me, so your pet will always have my full attention. My condo has great walking paths that your dog will be sure to love! I work from home, so I will always be here with your pet! I can take breaks frequently during the workday so there will be plenty of time to play or go for a walk. My house is completely pet-friendly. Your pet will be welcome to relax in the living space or keep me company in my office while I'm working.

“Shirali was great with Holly. My dog has separation anxiety and it’s not easy for her being in new spaces. Shirali did what she could do to keep Holly calm and relaxed, even making sure her patio was open to her so she could go outside any time. Good communicator, sent lots of pics while she was there. Thank you so much.”

“Sapphire had an amazing time during her stay! She was slowly introduced to the other dogs and then the cat, any directions I gave were followed, I got multiple pictures and updates throughout the day, and I really felt my baby was with someone that cares about dogs!! I even ran late during pick up and they made it no hassle at all! They made sure she still felt special and loved even with other animals in the home. Will be booking again!”

“You know how some people get along with animals better than they do with people? Those people who have bumper stickers that say, "I love my dog", or...even better, "I love my dog, it's people I'm not so sure about"? Basically, the kind of animal lover who truly believes that animals are essentially better people than people? Tom Zuback isn't one of them. If he had a bumper sticker, it would say "I love my dog, but don't worry, I could learn to like you, too." Tommy is a lover. For the purposes of Rover.com, I'm going to focus on his love of dogs. When my dog died, he checked on me several days a week for several more weeks than was required as a friend. And in speaking with him, he would ask what I missed most. He understands the relationship between people and their dogs. He was a City slicker for many years, but he did not allow that to impede his ability to be a dog lover. While his apartment would not let him keep a dog there, he was a steadfast sitter to his friends' dogs, especially to labradoodles Trevor and Spencer - for over 15 years! I've known Tommy since we were 7 years old. When I met him, and for what seemed like our entire childhood, he had Suzette. Suzette was a French poodle, and Suzette was also the friendliest poodle ever met - then and 50 years later! No doubt, Suzette was loved, and she couldn't help but be kind to others because of the love she felt at home. Never did I think twice about leaving my dogs in the care of Tommy. He's the kind of person who hears about a dog who attacked someone and whose first thought is "what was that dog going through? What happened to that dog?" - his last thought is "that dog is bad". By profession, Tommy is a photographer. While he has had the opportunity to photograph celebrities and People magazine-worthy moments, and more than once been at the right place at the right time to catch the star of the moment, if you asked him about his favorite photo gig, he'd tell you that it's the one with the dogs. I don't know the name of it, actually. How funny is that! He's been doing it for years, and it's not about the status of the event or the opportunity it presents in Tommy's mind/career. It's a fundraiser for dogs, and each year when he is called upon to be its photographer, I know I am going to get a bunch of photos with the photographer being loved by, or loving, a dog. As I write this, I'm not entirely sure who takes those photos, but all I know is that Tommy is in his element. (Side note: he must do a fantastic job photographing this dog promoting event, as he's asked back year after year.) I have zero reservations about Tommy being a friend to any dog, and I have all the confidence in the world to recommend him as a pet walker/sitter/lover. I may trust him more with a dog than with my mother. Just kidding, but hopefully you get the idea. He loves, fur or no fur, but fur is a plus. Thanks for the opportunity to recommend Tommy (Tom) Zuback.”

Omeeta S.
“Omeeta and Chirayu are amazing pet sitters. I am writing to share my experience with them who took care of our beloved dog Casper for three days. In short, we had an excellent experience and would highly recommend them to anyone in need of a responsible and caring individuals to take care of their furry friend. From the moment we met, we could tell that they genuinely cared about our dog and were passionate about taking care of animals. They took the time to get to know our dog's routine, habits, and personality, which helped put us at ease knowing that our dog was in good hands. Throughout the three days, they kept us updated with daily texts, photos, and videos of our dog, which we greatly appreciated. It was evident that they were spending quality time with our dog and making sure he was happy and comfortable. They even went above and beyond by taking our dog on extra walks and playing with him in dog parks. When we returned home, we could tell that our dog had a great time and was well taken care of. Overall, we had a wonderful experience with them and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a caring, responsible, and reliable pet sitters. We will undoubtedly be using their services again in the future.”
