“I highly recommend Leigh. She took amazing care of my elderly dog. Leigh sends a lot pictures to see your animals day. She left the house near and tidy, she even took my garbage out to the curb without me asking. She is wonderful!”

“Amazing experience, tons of detailed updates and pictures throughout the sit. I felt so confident that my pets were being cared for well while we were out of town for the weekend 😊”

“Matthew showed up on time and followed instructions for our dog. He updated me throughout the day and night. He did great watching her and we will definitely be rebooking in the future!”

“Casie and her husband Karim were a huge help in taking care of my Benny. He is a senior dog and has many medications and can no longer go up stairs. She was very willing to administer all his meds and her husband Karim slept downstairs on the sofa so that Benny would not have to be alone at night. I also love that Casie is home full time. Great communication and sent lots of videos!”

“Makayla was a wonderful sitter for our two labs. Her kindness, punctuality and dedication was evident. She kept us up-to-date with video clips and pictures of her stay at our house. I would highly recommend her and hope to request her services in the future.”

“This is the third time Paz has taken care of my little, crazy chihuahua. She always does a great job, and puts up with all his bad habits. She is someone I can trust, and will use again.”

“Yujie is so kind and caring, and took such great care of our animals and our house while we were away. Our dog can be anxious with new people, but she felt comfortable with Yujie right away and was also so calm and happy when we returned from our trip as well! So glad to have found Yujie and we look forward to booking her again :)”

“Abigail was a great sitter for our dogs. We could tell from the meet and greet that she genuinely cared for them. She took great care of them while we were gone, even as one of our dogs was dealing with an upset stomach. Abigail kept us updated with texts and pictures throughout her time with them. We highly recommend her to anyone looking to hire a sitter.”

“We couldn’t be more pleased with Annie as our dog sitter! She took such great care of our high-energy, anxious pup, and we could tell from the start that our dog felt safe and loved in her care. Annie was incredibly communicative throughout her stay, sending us tons of updates, messages, and pictures, which made us feel at ease the entire time. It was clear she went above and beyond to ensure our pup was happy and well taken care of. Highly recommend Annie to anyone looking for a reliable, caring, and attentive dog sitter!”

About: As a kid growing up, I had my own “business” around the neighborhood where I would care for pets in their homes. Later I worked as a veterinary tech, and feel comfortable administering needed medications or providing bathing/nail clipping services. Other than kids, animals have always been a passion of mine. I currently am a stay at home mom to 3 year old twins. I will always make your beloved pets a priority and schedule into my day as needed. I prefer to keep pets in their home, this can be a safe space for them since they feel more comfortable there versus a new home with completely new people. I can stay there with the pets, and treat them as my own. Each has their own quirks and personalities, but catering to those needs is essential. I’ve watched a variety of animals from pigs to ferrets, bearded dragons and fish, and more! Ideally searching for a consistent dog that needs walking that is good with children. One of my twins is in early intervention school and the other is with me almost all of the time. Husband will be home in evenings for overnight needs. Stay at home mom to 3 year old twins, so quick drop ins during the day and boarding in the evening would be no problem. Would love to find a consistent dog to walk during the day while one of my kids is in early intervention preschool! I’ve worked in boarding and understand the importance of giving animals what they need. They all have quirks that we love about our own pets and require lots of love especially when their humans are away.
“Angela was The Best Ever for my quirky, affectionate 13 year old standard poodle. She was extremely resourceful in figuring out how to meet his "senior" needs, and taught me a few tricks to get him to eat more! And he clearly loved her. She also took the best care of our house. I will ask her to sit with him again, without a doubt.”

“Taylor was great. She was punctual, considerate, good with our pup, thoughtful (she sent pics of Bear while I was in the hospital),and very neat. She has our unconditional support recommendation.”

“Pam was absolutely amazing!! She provided us with frequent updates about our pets and how they were doing. She also sent us pictures. She went above and beyond and we came home from vacation to a very clean house, thanks to her! It was nice to have trust in Pam to care for our pets so we could absolutely relax on vacation. 10/10!!”

“Bri is very responsible and accommodating. She was able to watch our two cats fairly last minute while we went on vacation. She kept us updated every day along with pictures. We would definitely reach out to her again for house/pet sitting!”

About: I live next to a large walking trail and have many years of personal dog care experience. I have a large backyard. I’m currently in nursing school so I have lots of free time to care for your doggie I am currently working part-time and attending nursing school, so when I am not working, I love to take care of dogs! My work and school schedule is flexible especially during the summer! I currently do not have any pets as my dog of 14 years passed away but I do have a large backyard and a walking trail near by that is easily accessible.
About: For most of my life, I’ve been taking care of animals of varying sizes and energy levels. Many of these were shelter rescues, so I’m used to animals with different needs. I’ve also had two years of experience with walking and caring for dogs at the BVSPCA. I asked my dog for a comment and she said, “woof woof,” which I take to mean “very good.” I’m currently at home from college for the summer. I love meeting new animals, so I’ll definitely make sure my schedule works around taking care of your pets! From my own experience, pet sitting can be a very hectic experience which is why I always pay attention to the details. The two things I say most often, when I’m with my dog are, “that’s a tomato… don’t you dare eat it,” and “yo, get out of the bathroom.” Whether I’m walking or feeding my dog, I make sure her environment is safe, stressfree, and filled with love.
“Ben was absolutely wonderful! He communicated well sent great photos and we felt very good about having him care for our dogs. He asked great questions when he was unsure and to me that is the mark of a great person and a caring pet sitter! We will ask Ben back for sure!”

If I could leave 100 stars I would! Kala was amazing with Luna. I got great pictures of their time together. When I arrived home from the week, I hardly recognized my apartment!! She cleaned the apartment and the patio!! Kala goes above and beyond and I would definitely use her again!!

Miya was great with our dogs. We really appreciated her spending extra time with them while we were away. It made our drive home that more less pressured to find out she stayed longer than necessary to reduce the time our puppy had to spend in her crate. Trustworthy, kind, and communicative!

Beyond belly rubs and feeding schedules, a house sitter’s presence may provide an additional layer of security for your home. However, you will need to arrange overnight stays and other household tasks with your sitter when reaching out to them. Not all sitters offer the same services. Common household tasks you can negotiate include:
- Mail & deliveries: Collecting letters and packages so they don't pile up.
- Plant care: Keeping your indoor or outdoor garden hydrated.
- Trash & recycling: Taking trash cans to the curb on scheduled pickup days.
- Home security: Sitters can stay overnight to keep your home occupied.
The best way to align on expectations is during your free Meet & Greet. Use this time to provide a "home cheat sheet" that includes your preferred Malvern walking routes, the location of your favorite pet store, and any specific quirks about your home’s security or appliances.
It’s helpful to think of house sitting as a "home base" service. Most sitters in Malvern maintain their normal daily routines, like running errands or heading to the office, meaning your pet should be comfortable being alone for a few hours at a time. If your pet needs a little extra company, here is how to find the perfect match:
- Look for "WFH" sitters: Many sitters mention "Work from Home" on their profile to indicate they’ll be present for the majority of the day.
- Update your pet’s profile: Write down how long your pet can comfortably be left alone. This helps sitters quickly determine if their schedule aligns with your needs.
- Communicate 24/7 needs: Standard house sitting usually doesn't include constant supervision. If your pet requires round-the-clock care, be sure to discuss this upfront.
Tip: Use the Meet & Greet to confirm a sitter's typical "away" windows. Transparency ensures your pet stays happy and your sitter can plan their day effectively!
Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Malvern choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
