As a dog and cat mom myself, I know how much trust it takes to leave your pets in someone else’s care. My goal is to make that transition feel as seamless and stress-free as possible, for both you and your pets. I follow routines closely so they don’t miss a beat while you’re away. I provide thoughtful, detail-oriented care, from ensuring high-energy dogs receive the exercise and engagement they need to maintaining clean, well-kept spaces for cats, including daily litter care and proper feeding hygiene. I focus on the small details that truly make a difference, treating your home and your pets with the same level of care I would my own. My time is truly their time, whether that means long walks, playtime, or simply being present for a cozy cuddle. I step in seamlessly so your pets feel safe, comfortable, and cared for, and so you can feel completely at ease while you’re away. I’ve had dogs and cats my entire life, including caring for my 15-year-old Maine Coon and raising and training my young Golden Retriever since she was just 10 weeks old. I understand the patience, consistency, and attention required for pets of all ages, energy levels, and temperaments. In addition to over 10 years of pet sitting for friends, family, and neighbors, I’ve worked in animal care at the children’s zoo at the Philadelphia Zoo, giving me hands-on experience with a wide range of animals and unique personalities. Like people, every pet is different. I take the time to build trust and create a safe, positive, and personalized experience, whether caring for them in your home or mine. Kala did a wonderful job of sitting for our dog Bree! I was impressed by Kala's experience with dogs and conscientious manner. I was initially a little worried that her energetic dog would overwhelm Bree, but we met for a walk before booking to confirm the dogs got along. Kala's fully fenced-in yard was a great place for Bree to play and hang out, and I received texts with photos throughout the weekend. Bree came home happy and tired from lots of walks and playtime. I will definitely book with Kala again!
Kala stayed overnight with our two husky/shepherds and did a fantastic job! Our one dog can be slow to warm up to new people so I was nervous to leave her, but she took to Kala in no time which made me feel so much more at ease! Kala was professional, communicative, respectful of our home, followed all instructions, and was just generally on top of things. We so appreciate her thorough care!!
Kala was my pet sitter for at least ten years. She would still be my pet sitter but I moved to a different state. She is responsible, knowledgeable, kind, and loving. She's the best!

Schedule
I work full-time during the week (9–5) and work remotely on Mondays and Fridays. I offer boarding and house sitting Friday–Monday, allowing for consistent, attentive long weekend care. I prioritize routine, enrichment, and calm structure so pets feel secure while you’re away. I also provide regular updates and photos for peace of mind.

In my home, pets are cared for in a calm, structured environment. I have a fenced yard for safe outdoor time and a friendly one-year-old Golden Retriever and senior Maine Coon who are both well-socialized. I always prioritize safe introductions and ensure every pet feels comfortable. I can accommodate crates if your dog is crate-trained, and I’m happy to maintain your pet’s usual routine, including feeding schedules, walks, playtime, and any specific care instructions. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I aim to keep their routine as consistent as possible to reduce stress. I respect your space, follow all care instructions carefully, and provide regular updates and photos for peace of mind.

A typical day
I provide both physical and mental stimulation tailored to each pet. This can include games, food puzzles, treat-based training, long neighborhood walks, and visits to our local walking path or East Goshen Park. Every pet’s day is personalized so they stay happy, engaged, and active while in my care.
