About: Our family has always included pets. I will be incomplete without them. I have foster and rescue many cats. And I have trained our dogs for service work. All of this has provided me with unique knowledge about grooming, behavior, breeds specific, and training for animals. I'm excited to offer your pet the same level of care than ours. I respect pets like a family member. And through this sitting I am hoping to grow our resources to keep giving back to shelters and other pets in need. I am are currently working from home. And spend my days inside. So your pet will have company 24/7. My family have a very quiet lifestyle and will accommodate to any routine necessary. I offer personalized environment for our sitting pets. Since we have the space, if you have a shy pet they can be in a quite room by themselves and be accompanied as they like. Or if is playful it can hang around playing with our kittens. We do leave them the first night in their own space to accommodate. And if you like we can transition them into the general space.

“This is a long review, long story short- Maria Luiza is an awesome dog-sitter, you and your pup will be very happy with the service she provides!! My husband and I recently moved down to Florida and didn't have anyone nearby we trusted to watch our 10 yr old pupper Isla. We reached out to Maria on Rover due to the massive amount of 5 star reviews and repeat customers, Maria requested a meet and greet at her house where Isla would hopefully be staying for 4 nights. Maria has a good sized fenced yard and greeted us with her 3 dogs and gave a few minutes for the dogs to get acquainted outside before we got to show Isla how to use the doggy door to inside and get the tour. Maria works from home and has a great dog set up in every room. After some indoor socialization with the dogs and chatting, we all felt comfortable with leaving our sweet girl with Maria while my husband & I went out of town. Maria suggested bringing some of Isla's possessions to help Isla feel more cozy while we were away. Isla was content to be dropped off with Maria & her dogs when the time came. Maria gave us many, much appreciated updates and pictures that first day and onward- we even got some videos of our girl. Isla hasn't had a ton of extended time with other dogs and found a cozy spot in the bathroom closet, already prepped for dogs; Maria went out of her way to make the spot even cozier with an added doggy bed and would send us funny pictures of Isla's remodeling progress or all the dogs enjoying the food prep smells. I was curious to see how Isla would do walking with other dogs as she has always been the only dog in the family and loves to get her sniffs in; Maria let us know Isla loved her walks and had no issues with sharing the walk with the other dogs!! Coordinating a pick up time was very easy and Maria was quick to greet us and bring all of Isla's possessions and leftover food with her last update. Isla had an enjoyable stay and had positive exposure to additional dogs. Maria is truly great at reading dogs and knowing how to help them get comfortable in a new environment. We will definitely use Maria again!”

“Paige was incredibly easy and friendly to contact same day to sit my dog when I needed a last minute sitter. Super friendly, great yard area to walk your dog with a long leash (not closed in) out front. Sent picture updates, let me know how Tifa was doing, and stayed up late so I could pick her up before the morning as my schedule changes rapidly. Also gave great advice for my anxious dog in new places to share with future sitters. Will definitely use her again next time I visit Jacksonville.”
