About: I have over 500 hours of dog watching and raising experience (outside of my own pets) and spent over 800 hours volunteering cat care for kittens and disabled kitties I am a grad student with a totally flexible schedule and can work from home easily if needed! I will be able to incorporate your pet into my routine seamlessly. I also have the ability to fully care for your pet at their own home. I am able to be there often if needed or can stop by for occasional visits based off your own needs.

About: I’ve taken care of my family’s animals for over 10 years. I also have worked as a veterinary assistant since 2020. I graduated undergrad in 2022. I’m currently a full time veterinary assistant at VMCVM ICU. I currently work an overnight schedule but am available during the day! I will be returning to vet school again in January after a short leave of absence I’m able to walk, feed, give medications, and play with your animals! I’m comfortable with all types of animals with a variety of health problems and temperaments. I currently work night shift so I’m available most times during the day! I also am free all weekends so I have plenty of time to spend time with your pets! I currently live in a house with a fenced in yard. I care for my own dog and have him run around the yard for lots of exercise. Although I wouldn’t be using my house for stays, I am more than happy to spend the same amount of time caring for your pets!

About: I’ve taken care of all types of animals such as dogs, cats, birds, etc. I’m willing to take care of any types of pets! When I go home from school I have three cats and two dogs. I’ve watched my neighbors, friends, and family’s pets for a couple hours to a couple of days. I’m a full time student at Virginia Tech, however all of my classes are in the morning, so my schedule is extremely flexible throughout the week. During the summer I’m mainly just working at a local vet clinic, so my schedule is still pretty flexible! I will always make it a priority to ask if there are any specific needs or instructions for the pet I am taking care of. I make sure that I give the animal I am watching extra attention, so they can feel as comfortable as possible with me, while their owner is away!

I am an avid animal lover with more than five years of professional experience working with all sorts of animals from cats to bats to turtles, and am currently getting a degree in Wildlife Conservation. Needless to say, I have committed my life to taking care of animals. I have worked with all ages; from ten-week-old puppies to senior dogs, I’ve seen it all! I’m not afraid to get my hands dirty and deal with messes or accidents with your furry friend. Anything they need I am happy to take care of! About: Hi!! I’m Makenzie and I am a junior studying Pre-Law at VT!! I have two beautiful dogs of my own at home (a Great Dane and a golden retriever). I love to hang out and play with my puppies at home or take them on walks. If your pup is looking for a friend to walk with, I’m down! My family relies on me to take my dogs out and feed them often. I am currently back in Blacksburg until further notice!! My schedule is completely open except for my classes on Tuesday and Thursday. I will update my calendar if anything comes up. Rover is something fun I wanted to try because of my love for animals (and I’m always missing my own). I am a big keep the dog on the leash person. When taking my dogs out they are always on a leash and will never be let out of sight and that will 100% be applied to your dogs as well!

About: I’ve had dogs for over ten years, cats my whole life, been pet sitting for 4 years, and even worked at a doggy daycare for six months. I have experience caring for animals for up to 2 weeks at a time and have cared for dogs, cats, and bunnies. I work at Wonder Universe, the children’s museum in Christiansburg, about 15 hours a week! Otherwise, nothing concrete is on my schedule, and I am happy to work with your needs. I love to get dogs outside for fetch and running loose. I’m happy to do walks whether for potty or just for exercise. I know that play and stimulation are crucial for animals. I’m also a big fan of keeping things tidy (within reason) so any accidental mess from your fur babies will be as if it never happened.

About: I owned a beautiful 7 year old St. Bernard and although he was stubborn he taught me a lot. I am able to control and establish a barrier of trust between us to ensure my safety, his and the safety of those around us because let's be honest he is a big boy (180 lbs to be exact). Taking care of such a big boy, ensures me that I will be able to take care of your fur baby, no matter the size, or temperament. I have cared for many other dogs and house sat a few with behavioral problems as well. I am currently working part time, however my schedule is not exact, so as long as you reach out I will most likely be able to accommodate you and your furry friend. I have a front yard and a large crate meant for any size if necessary. I live in a townhome and can take your dog for as many or as little walks as they need.

I am Currently unemployed and I am also currently looking for a side hustle and I think this would be a great fit for me I will take good care of the owners pet from their house. About: I have been dog sitting around my neighborhood since I was about 13. I have lots of experience not only dog sitting but house sitting as well. I also have experience with puppies and helping train/teach them. My biggest experience is working for a doggie daycare and working at a dog park (BarK for anyone familiar!) Along with this I also have had two cats and two dogs of my own who I love dearly. I am also CPR certified in dog CPR and have basic first-aid experience with animals! I am currently searching for a job so I have plenty of time to focus on you and your pets! I would love to spend as much time as your pets need to make sure they are comfortable and happy :) As of now I won’t be able to offer boarding/daycare at my place but at others houses I want to make sure both human and dog have the best experience possible.
