When I picked him up, he was super happy to see me, but I could also tell he was kind of sad to leave them. They went on many hiking adventures and he came back just as clean. Courtney & Kam were super flexible with the time, especially when I had to extend my trip a couple days early. Overall, I would recommend them. I could tell they loved my pup with all their heart!! About: I've watched dogs and cats with all different personalities and needs (i.e. blind, diabetic, anxious, etc.). I believe in understanding a pet's needs from the perspective of the pet and responding with compassion. I work full time, but can usually work from home if needed. I will talk with you before we commit to pet sitting to ensure my schedule works for your needs (if that's getting off early, working from home every day during the time of the sitting, going home over lunch for a walk, etc). I have no fur babies (or kids) of my own, so your babies will get my undivided attention and I will shower them with all the love I wish I could give to my own fur baby if I had one. (Know I recognize that love looks different for different critters - for some it may mean keeping a respectful distance!)

About: I am an avid animal lover. So when friends, family, and friends of friends have looked for pet sitters they come to me! I have experience with dogs as little as Chihuahuas to as big as Rottweilers and we all know who is more feisty ;) I work during the week but am available for walks after 5pm. I am available for boarding all day on the weekends or during the week if your pets are low-needs during the day! I have a private 3+ acre yard with a kenneled in area if needed. I have crates for my dogs and more than happy to crate yours if needed. I am willing to accommodate most needs/request as long as you are willing to communicate!

About: My family has had dogs my entire life so I have been loving and caring for dogs ever since I can remember. Around the age of 13 years old, family, friends, and neighbors have all trusted and relied on me to take care of their dogs. On top of that, I have 2 years of experience working in a doggy day care center whilst in High-school. There I cared for dogs of all sizes, breeds, and ages. I am able to feed, walk, bathe, and of course play with your fur babies while making sure they feel comfortable, happy, and safe. I am a full time student at Virginia Tech but have a very flexible schedule, as a lot of my classes are online. With that being said, I will be able to spend lots of time with your pet(s) to ensure they feel loved and comfortable being in my presence. While home in Charlotte during the summer, I have a fenced in backyard and am available anytime. I care for pets exactly how the owner requests that I do. About: I’ve owned a black Labrador(Anna) for over 13 years, she has not once had any sort of health issue as I’ve feed her well, and kept her up to date on vet visits. I’m caring, compassionate, and smart and versatile enough to be calm in any situation that may arise. I assure you that I will treat your pet as if it were my own. This allows me the freedom to stay focused on your pet and be there when other folks have to leave. If a situation ever does arrive my strength are communication so you can rest assured I will be in constant contact, which as a pet owner for an older girl myself id expect from others if I left her in their care. If the pet requires adequate exercise I have no problem going on a long walk with them and the space is pet friendly as my dog (Anna) is there. “Our previous sitter told me they are moving, which prompted me to search for a new sitter. I decided to try Rebecca, and am I glad I did! I was happy with our first sitter, but LuLu spent her time there just sniffing their yard and snuggling up on the couch with the sitter. She barely ate and wouldn't play with their dog. It was such a delight to see how happy LuLu was at Rebecca's place. She ran around the yard like I haven't seen her do since she was a puppy. When Rebecca thought LuLu needed a rest and brought her inside, LuLu whined to go back out, so out she went for more running around! Finally, she took a nap on the couch, then got up and ate all of her dinner. Then she settled down chewing on her toy until we came back for her. She was happy to see us, but gave Rebecca a tail wag when they said goodbye. I'm so glad LuLu found a place where she can thrive when we're gone. Now I won't hesitate to book a vacation! Rebecca was very attentive to the history I gave her about LuLu and my instructions about her routine and fears. We did a Meet & Greet on short notice, and Rebecca showed LuLu and me her back yard and inside her house. She assured me that she would never give LuLu an opportunity to run away. The way Rebecca gave me updates all day long assured me that LuLu was being well cared for and was having a great time. Rebecca is definitely Lulu's new sitter. I couldn't be happier with her care.”

I have worked with animals from a young age, including many hours working in vet offices in high school leading up to college and vet school (became a licensed vet in 2020). I am quite comfortable with caring for animals who need medications administered, or more intense levels of care while their owners are away. I am comfortable handling large dogs (I have a lot of practice in my line of work as a veterinarian). “Richard could not have been nicer and my dogs seem to have enjoyed their stay! I was worried about my 15 month old English bulldog pouting the entire time, but Richard won her over. The location is wonderfully located high above the daily humdrum. If your pets are used to country living, they will thoroughly enjoy a stay here! I highly recommend and will be using for future needs.”
“Courtney & Kam were amazing! We had a super informative meet and greet in the beginning. They had my boy over Christmas and I got pictures every day. I could tell how happy he was there. When I picked him up, he was super happy to see me, but I could also tell he was kind of sad to leave them. They went on many hiking adventures and he came back just as clean. Courtney & Kam were super flexible with the time, especially when I had to extend my trip a couple days early. Overall, I would recommend them. I could tell they loved my pup with all their heart!! They were super professional and very kind. I also saw how well kept and nice their home was.”

About: I am an avid animal lover. So when friends, family, and friends of friends have looked for pet sitters they come to me! I have experience with dogs as little as Chihuahuas to as big as Rottweilers and we all know who is more feisty ;) I work during the week but am available for walks after 5pm. I am available for boarding all day on the weekends or during the week if your pets are low-needs during the day! I have a private 3+ acre yard with a kenneled in area if needed. I have crates for my dogs and more than happy to crate yours if needed. I am willing to accommodate most needs/request as long as you are willing to communicate!

About: I am a stay at home Mom and would love to help other pet owners be at ease knowing their pets are being taken care of while you’re at work or out of town. Being at home allows me to be very flexible with the care you need. My family has both a dog and cat at home, so I’m familiar with the care needed for both. I’ve also cared for an elder dog before needing insulin administered. I am a stay at home mom, so my schedule is very flexible to work with your needs! I’m happy to work with you! I have a large un-fenced yard surrounded by woods; supervised time outside only and on a leash unless you and I both are confident in obedience to come when called. I have a small dog at home who prefers a cuddle buddy over a play mate, but she is friendly with most dogs and loves cats! In the event I leave home I prefer crating until I get to know your pup.

About: I take care of pets for family when they need it and have experience caring for older pets, puppies, and those with special care instructions. My schedule is pretty flexible so I can take time to walk dogs during the day. I’m most available during the weekend and after 5 pm for over night boarding, but can potentially accommodate other schedules. I have no pets, so my home is perfect for less friendly pets. Crates will need to provided if they are needed for your pet, but I’m willing to keep up with their routine.

Did not appear overly hungry or thirsty when we brought them back home telling me they were given plenty of food and water. Liked that Lydia has a fenced in back yard and appreciated the daily picture updates and video without me having to ask first. Was also able to get us in last minute and was very responsive. Would highly recommend!”
