About: I have been taking care of animals since I was 10. I have cared for a blind senior cat as well as a cat with hip problems, which required patience, close monitoring, and adapting the environment to keep them safe and comfortable. I currently help care for my friend’s senior dog, who also has hip and dental issues, so I’m familiar with administering gentle support, maintaining comfort, and being attentive to mobility limitations and pain cues. In addition, I have experience caring for younger animals, including kittens and puppies around 12 weeks old. This has given me practice with high-energy care, feeding routines, supervision, and basic early-life behavior management. Overall, I’m comfortable working with both senior pets and young animals, and I adjust my care style based on each pet’s specific health, energy level, and personality needs. Pet care fits into my routine pretty easily because I currently have a part-time job with a very variable schedule. Since my shifts change from week to week, I’m generally flexible and available most days with some notice. While my apartment doesn’t have a backyard, there is a fenced-in area nearby where dogs can run, play fetch, and get exercise. I also have a car, so if the owner is comfortable with it, I can take the dogs to a dog park for additional enrichment and activity. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I prioritize keeping their routine as consistent as possible—feeding schedules, walks, playtime, and any special care instructions are followed closely. I’m also very mindful of respecting the home itself. I was raised to always leave a place cleaner than I found it, so I make sure everything is kept tidy, organized, and exactly as I found it. About: I have been pet sitting for most of my life as well as caring for my own animals at home. I have worked at, volunteered at, and fostered for dog and cat shelters as well as many other animals, and have volunteered and worked at a veterinary teaching hospital. You will not find someone more passionate or empathetic about animals of any and all shapes and sizes. When people weren’t there for me, my animals were, and I have vowed to be there just the same for them. I am a strong creature of habit, and love a good structured routine to my day. Feeding all of my animals is a heavy part of that, and the best part. I start and finish my days making sure everyone is fed, loved, and happy, and if they are then it is a good day. Being able to take a lunch break to visit more animals is an added bonus that I will look forward to all day. I always make sure to specialize care to the animals themselves, and mimic how their own parents care for them. If an animal needs more frequent visits, longer visits, extra play time, medications, specialized meal plans or supervised meals I will always accommodate to the best of my ability. I will never leave an animal until they are satisfied with my service.

About: I’ve grown up with animals of all kinds in my home. While I currently only have a cat, I’ve been the owner of several dogs, a couple snakes, a bearded dragon and I’m not afraid of really any type of animal. I have a pretty open schedule, single mom to a couple of boys and pet mom to one sweet cat. I love snuggling any animal. About: Currently I’m a vet student at WSU! I’ve just wrapped up my first year of vet school. My ultimate goal is to go into large animal medicine. I’ve taken care of different family’s pets for a few years now and they’ve loved the care I provided. With my own pets I am experienced with their walks, grooming and minor training with my latest dog, and of course feeding them (along with some supplements as needed). Currently I have a very open schedule as I am in college and my classes are in the later morning, so I have time to care throughout the week. I occasionally work weekends, sometimes a few nights during the week (usually 4-5 hours) otherwise I have an open schedule! I would prefer Venmo for payment if possible with you, if not totally no worries! Through my pet experience I will often play with the animals if they desire and need some energy out, or taking them on walks. In my own home I take the dogs to the backyard throwing a toy around or running with the dogs. My dogs have a strict schedule so we always feed them on time, one of them getting his pills and the other will have difficult time eating so I’ve found that ways that help him eat throughout the morning before I have to leave. Frequent bathroom breaks are needed of course, and I love being around the dogs so I usually hang out in their favorite spots with them while doing my own thing if everyone is just relaxing.
