I’m a PhD student who has called St. Louis home for the past five years, and I’m currently in the final stages of writing my dissertation. The good news for your pets? I work from home, so I have plenty of time for walks, belly rubs, playtime, and keeping your furry friends company while you’re away! I am located in The Grove with access to a dog park at my apartment complex as well as walking distance to both Forest Park & Tower Grove Park for pups that enjoy long walks. One of my dogs loves people and dislikes other dogs, while the other one enjoys dogs and is wary of people so I have experience with a variety of dog personalities and their differing needs. Whether your pet is a professional cuddler, an energetic adventurer, or simply here for the treats, I’d love to spoil them ◡̈ Since I work from home while finishing my PhD dissertation, pet care fits pretty naturally into my daily routine. I have a flexible schedule that allows me to take plenty of breaks throughout the day for walks, playtime, and potty breaks. 🐾 My schedule is much more “read a paper, take a dog for a walk, write a paragraph, give belly rubs” than a traditional 9-to-5. About: I run a 5k every day and can handle large or small dogs. For boarding I have 2 acres of fenced in grass nearby where I run by husky at daily. My experience : I've had dogs in my home since I was 7 and was tasked with their walks and training. I now have a 2yo siberian Husky, Shryko, who I have off-leash trained for hikes and river adventures. So I'm very active, and my dogs have a lot of enriched exploring and exercise. All this with only treats, praise and regular patient consistency. I am a circus artist and entertainer by nights and weekends when the work is available. I spend most week days free at home honing my skill set and arranging bookings. Therefore plenty of time to head out for walks, or break and enrich a dog's day with playtime. I have a fenced in yard and large living room. 1 dog, 8 month 40lb siberian husky girl who loves company and playtime. Also have a large crate if separation is needed.
About: I have two super goofy, friendly, and loving male Pit bulls. I work from home so will be around pretty much all the time. I take my dogs on a walk mostly 3 times a day but again I’m around a lot and get bored easily so might be 5 times a day :) My dogs are definitely spoiled and should not expect anything less for your pet when I’m watching them! I have experience with senior dogs and dogs who need special care such as taking medicine. Mostly home all day and night. I work from home so your pet will always be attended too unless I leave to make a quick errand run. My dogs do have cages but they are barely in them. Whenever I do leave my dogs stay out freely but they do well in their cages when needed. They do get along very well with other pets. Small dogs or large dogs.

I have NEVER - in my 53 yrs- of raising dogs , cats, horses, goats , and a pig- EVER -… smacked, spanked, “ rubbed an animals NOSE - into any of their “ potty boo boos” I just Do Not-believe in Cruelty. Not Ever- under Any Circumstances . It’s Proven to be WONDERFUL- I’m tellin ya! There are more than a couple handfuls of People who’ve described my animals as The Sweetest / and Greatest!
