“I’m so grateful for Laura and her family. She was incredibly flexible from start to finish, and my dog is completely worn out—in the best way! Laura gave her all the attention I couldn’t, and I couldn’t be more thankful.”

“Good communication before and during our dog's care. She made us feel comfortable socializing him with other dogs. Sent lots of pictures and a video. Highly recommend. She was great!”

About: I have taken care of cats and dogs since I was a kid. I would adopt a hundred if I could, but since I can’t I think this app is the next best thing! I am a teacher so I have evenings free throughout Mon-Friday and weekends free anytime to help! I will become fully free during next summer. I care for pets as if they are family members, I may be guilty of spoiling them from time to time but they deserve it!
“I can’t say enough about how great Lauren was with our puppy. She was so kind and loving to him and he was very well cared for. She was super flexible with our schedule, which I greatly appreciate! I would give her a 10 star review if I could. I would absolutely recommend her to anyone!”

“Sarah is a great sitter! We initially booked her for boarding and added on day care so our puppy had a chance to get to know Sarah and her son before our trip. She is very flexible and communicative. We have our boarding scheduled soon and will continue to use Sarah in the future!”

“Ruthie was great with my deaf little puppy. He is afraid of other dogs but she was sweet and patient and he accepted the others. Her dog Ginger is the sweetest little cuties! Will book again!”

“Jacki was so great! Roscoe immediately felt at home and she sent update photos to keep me in the loop. Fae, her dog, was so sweet and was immediately Roscoe's buddy. Will definitely use her again!”

“Laura made sure to keep me updated throughout the day and was so patient with my girl Boston. It’s always nerve wracking leaving your puppy with someone else especially with her visual impairment! Laura was reassuring, kind, and made sure Boston was comfortable, happy, and safe!! Highly recommend and I cannot wait for Boston to go back and hangout🥰”

“Pickup and droppoff was easy. From the beginning she handled Ace with care. Once we got home he laid down which is great because I asked if she could get some of his energy out and she definitely did. She also kept me updated throughout the day which I did appreciate. Will definitely be booking again.”

“Shannon checked all the boxes for us. She lived in a safe, walkable neighborhood, didn’t have any other pets at the house, and an allowed Tucker to lay on the back of her sofa. This all made for a very happy boy. I’m sure he felt like a king while we enjoyed our great nieces first birthday party. We didn’t worry about him at all, knowing he was being well cared for. Thank you, Shannon.”

We will be booking again 100%”

“This was our first experience using a doggie sitter from Rover but definitely won’t be our last. Brian was wonderful! He was extremely flexible in accommodating our schedule and took such great care of Sparky and Crouton! Loved all the pictures he sent!”

“Ellie is amazing 👏 My pup has so much fun playing with her friends all day and gets sooo excited in the car when she realizes where we are headed 😊 Plus Ellie makes drop off and pick up a breeze so I'm never stressed about work. I am super grateful for her!!”

About: I run a 5k every day and can handle large or small dogs. For boarding I have 2 acres of fenced in grass nearby where I run by husky at daily. My experience : I've had dogs in my home since I was 7 and was tasked with their walks and training. I now have a 2yo siberian Husky, Shryko, who I have off-leash trained for hikes and river adventures. So I'm very active, and my dogs have a lot of enriched exploring and exercise. All this with only treats, praise and regular patient consistency. I am a circus artist and entertainer by nights and weekends when the work is available. I spend most week days free at home honing my skill set and arranging bookings. Therefore plenty of time to head out for walks, or break and enrich a dog's day with playtime. I have a fenced in yard and large living room. 1 dog, 8 month 40lb siberian husky girl who loves company and playtime. Also have a large crate if separation is needed.

Brooklyn dog parents share their Rover experiences
Alison was great! We needed a sitter for our pup on vacation while we went to a concert. She was so great with Sage, communicative and sent pics while we were out. We could see how happy Sage was in each photo which helped us enjoy our time together as a family knowing Sage was well cared for. We would definitely book Alison again!
