They also took her on walks, brushed her, doted on her, let her sleep with them and made her feel so at home that when we came to pick her up she wanted us to come in instead of running out to the car as usual. She wanted all her peeps to be together. That is true testimony to the wonderful experience she had. Tina also kept us updated every couple of days with photos and gave us a full report when we came to pick up. Our girl had no problems so no more reporting was required. About: I run a 5k every day and can handle large or small dogs. For boarding I have 2 acres of fenced in grass nearby where I run by husky at daily. My experience : I've had dogs in my home since I was 7 and was tasked with their walks and training. I now have a 2yo siberian Husky, Shryko, who I have off-leash trained for hikes and river adventures. So I'm very active, and my dogs have a lot of enriched exploring and exercise. All this with only treats, praise and regular patient consistency. I am a circus artist and entertainer by nights and weekends when the work is available. About: I have a 5 year old 100lb staffordshire terrier named Kaido that I raised and trained since he was 6 weeks old. I crate trained, house trained, recall trained, socialized, and lead trained him myself. I have also Kaido to help work with other dogs that are not well socialized or have anxiety issues. I am currently working two part time jobs as a research coordinator so I am typically able to be flexible with whatever schedule is requested. About: I work at Metro East Humane Society and have handled both puppies and adult dogs of all sizes. I love all types of dogs and love working with them especially the shy ones! I currently work part time so I am available most of the time when I’m not working. I also have two of my own dogs and make sure I’m up early! I have been walking all types of dogs for the past year at the humane society, even the leash pullers and reactive dogs deserve to have their time outside. I have also learned to properly medicate dogs so if medications need to be given I can handle that as well.
About: I’ve grown up around dogs my entire life, so caring for them comes very naturally to me. I understand that every dog has a different personality, routine, and comfort level, and I always try to make them feel safe, loved, and comfortable while their owners are away. I’m reliable, attentive, and genuinely enjoy spending time with animals, so your pets will be cared for like they’re my own. I’m currently in nursing school, but my summer schedule is very manageable and gives me plenty of flexibility for pet sitting. I only have class Monday and Tuesday mornings and Fridays during the day, so I’m very available throughout the rest of the week for walks, drop-ins, overnight stays, and spending quality time with pets. Outside of class, most of my time is spent studying or doing homework, which allows me to have a flexible routine and dedicate a lot of attention and care to the pets I’m watching. Since I have a very flexible schedule, I’m able to spend plenty of quality time with your pets rather than just stopping by quickly.
