About: I have grown up taking care of our family dogs (2 Labs). My husband and I had a sweet chihuahua and currently have 2 cats. We love our boys and make our own cat food. I have taken care of pets for extended family, as well. I would love to help take care of your furry friends. I work from home, so it is easy for me to run out on a lunch break or between meetings to care for an animal. I would be upfront with my schedule so you would know about what time I would arrive to care for the pet. If you would like me to send photos of your pets when I visit, I'm happy to do so! About: I’ve grown up around dogs and animals my entire life and have had over 12 years of daily hands on experience caring for my own dog. I’ve also helped friends and neighbors with walking, feeding, potty breaks, and drop in care. I currently work with children, so I’m responsible, patient, dependable, and comfortable handling different personalities and needs. I treat every pet with the same care and attention I would want for my own. I am only available after 7:00 PM. I am a student, an intern, and I work part time. Therefore my availability changes a lot throughout the year. I greet the pets by petting them as soon as I enter the clients home. I will then let them out and will wait until they are by the door to let them in. I also actively supervise the animals and don’t let them leave my sight while being on the clients property. I make sure they are inside the clients home and their cages if one is required before leaving the clients property.

Meet & Greets can take place in person or virtually. If you are booking with a sitter for the first time, we recommend in-person Meet & Greets to get a clearer sense of how your sitter interacts with your pet or the new environment.
During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
