“I have a 12 yo German Shepard. He's an old man now. We were going away for New Years and our normal sitter wasn't available. I was apprehensive about leaving him with someone new. Karin was spectacular. She was attentive to his needs and careful about his 'age' related shortcomings. She has a pup of her own and a young son who loved my boy. Karin sent plenty of pics of him and was very communicative during his stay, asking questions to make sure behaviors were normal and making sure he'd tolerate the environment there! I don't know how many stays my old man has left in him, but Karin is definitely the person I'd want watching him when I leave!”

We were nervous to leave him for the first time since adopting him, he’s goes to work with us every day and he rides with us nearly everywhere but our daughters play sports and we have long weekend days away from home. They sent videos of him running around with the other dogs playing and having a blast, which was great to see because he’s a total couch potato at home. When my husband picked him up he acted like he didn’t want to leave which is out of character for Oliver because he’s usually glued to us 24/7! About: I have watched dogs ever since I was little. I started with a family friends two huskies. They loved to run in their yard and would come visit us on days that we weren't watching them by jumping the fence. When I was 10 or 11 we got our first dog and then we got another a few years later. My wife and I now have three dogs all of which are rescues. I can help with any animals so long as I have a few days heads up that you need help. I have experience watching pretty much every kind of pet from snakes to horses. If you need your dog, or even your cat, walked than I will be happy to help. I can even just stop by to make sure that everyone has a chance to go outside throughout the day. I can stop by and just sit with your pets or I can take them out into the yard and run or throw the ball with them. I am also happy to take them out on long or short walks depending on the pets needs and age. If anybody need medicine I have plenty of experience giving it to them as well as giving dogs physical therapy while recovering from surgery.

About: My husband Jeff and I have 2 dogs and no kids. Our dogs are our kids! Our dogs are about 2 years old and get along well with other dogs. Both of us grew up with dogs and have had dogs that are both young and senior. We give our dogs lots of time and attention. Before moving to Ohio in November 2023, I spent the past 3 years living in Mexico volunteering with a rescue organization which gave me an even broader insight into caring for animals. I apply that knowledge and care to other animals. I am a mother and grandmother to humans, but I love my pets like they are my children. You can expect the same love, care and treatment of your pets when I care for them. I have experience with dogs and cats ranging from puppies/kittens to seniors; pets requiring medical care to very active ones. I’m certain that I can care for your fur baby, too. I am a stay at home grandma that has free time during the day making me available for drop-in checks, play dates and walks with your pet. Visits after 4pm can be arranged with advance notice. My time is my own, making it easy to care for your pet in their own home, be it for a day or for the length of your vacation. I will care for your pet at your home according to your specific instructions. I ask that pets be up to date on all vaccinations. Any food or treats that you would like your pet to have should be provided by you. I do not provide those due to the potential risk of allergies and/or special dietary restrictions your pet may have.

About: I have had my own pets since I was a kid! My family has two wonderful dogs who we got as puppies. I spent a lot of time learning how to care for and train puppies and now even in college I consistently drive home to dog sit for my parents while they are out of town. I also have experience watching a large number of dogs, caring for deaf dogs, feeding, administering medications, walking, and more. I am Flexible and willing to be as accommodating as I possibly can for all the pet owners seeking assistance with their pets. I do this because I know how scary it can be leaving your pet somewhere and not knowing. I also know how scary it can be to leave your pet while you are away. I do my best to stay in contact with all my clients and offer plenty of photos. I am very versatile and have experience with a lot of different pets. I am active and love bringing the pets I care for along with me for walks or out around town (as long as the clients are comfortable) I want their experience in my home and with me to mimic their normal every day routine in their home. I feel that lessens their anxiety. It’s incorporated into my daily as I make adjustments. Normally if I need to go somewhere I am sure that I understand from the owners if their pet is able to stay out or if they would prefer that their pet be put in a safe place so they don’t decide to become mischievous while I run errands. I also offer the opportunity for them to come with me if they enjoy car rides. Again what’s most important to me is keeping the pets routine as closely aligned to their normal routine at home. In order to ensure that the pets I care for are happy and healthy while in my care I am sure to get a clear understanding of how their routine normally works and I ensure that I align their routine at my house to that. This helps alleviate anxiety and fear when being in a new place.
