Personalized care for your dog or cat - Lytle

Highly-rated overnight sitters - Lytle
“I have a 12 yo German Shepard. He's an old man now. We were going away for New Years and our normal sitter wasn't available. I was apprehensive about leaving him with someone new. Karin was spectacular. She was attentive to his needs and careful about his 'age' related shortcomings. She has a pup of her own and a young son who loved my boy. Karin sent plenty of pics of him and was very communicative during his stay, asking questions to make sure behaviors were normal and making sure he'd tolerate the environment there! I don't know how many stays my old man has left in him, but Karin is definitely the person I'd want watching him when I leave!”

“Joe did such a great job with our two pups while we went to Orlando for 5 days. He sent us messages and pictures every day about how they were doing. Joe is extra professional and knowledgeable. 100 percent recommend!”

“Chris took great care of our dog. He sent terrific photos each day and gave a report on how she was getting along. She went on walks and played with his daughters. We would be happy to use Chris again. Highly recommend him.”

“Hatsuki is a wonderful mommy for my kitty, Vivi. She is genuinely compassionate and a caring person for the animals who cannot talk. She gave a very comfortable home for Vivi during her stay. Thank you, Hatsuki, for all you have done to me and my kitty. Vivi said she was happy to have met you, and looking forward to meeting with you again. Many thanks for your kindness. Makiko”

“Dior had the best time! Tim and Kasia replied right away to accommodate my last minute plans (other places off Rover took days to respond and said they wouldn’t board Pitbulls) I loved the clips they sent showing my dog roaming blissfully on their beautiful property swimming and watching the horses. Wonderful experience will definitely book again in the future.”

“Our pup, Sokka, absolutely loves Ryan which is helpful since our dog has anxiety around other dogs (so kennel boarding is a very stressful experience). We really appreciate that Ryan also takes Sokka on walks and dog park visits if he's able to do so. We highly recommend Ryan for boarding!”

“Molly and Oliver enjoyed their stay! Drop off and pick up are very smooth and efficient. We appreciate the updates throughout the week. And most of all, our dogs come home happy and well taken care of!”

“Kyri was awesome!!! She kept us updated throughout our weekend away and sent lots of pictures and videos! I appreciated her care and attention to my young, clingy, and playful dogs!”

“Brendan was absolutely great navigating our Payton. He has high anxiety but was through the roof as he had never stayed with a stranger before. He was patient and understanding. He kept in touch and sent pics.”

“They did an excellent job with Ivan. He is a senior dog with episodes of high anxiety, and they made it possible for him to relax and feel at home. They also kept me informed about how he did, and they sent me plenty of pictures. I felt very comfortable leaving my boy with them. I will be using them again soon!”

“Derik and Megan are wonderful. They took on a challenge or what I would call a challenge by caring for my little boogie baby. They treated him so well as if he was their own. They kept me updated with pictures and text. I wouldn't ask for a better dog sitter. They made us feel at ease with our baby knowing it was our first time ever boarding him. Thank you again!”

“Meeko stayed with Jennifer for the first time last week and we were so happy with our experience. She has a big beautiful family so there is no shortage of love given to your pet. But between her own dogs and others boarding, Meeko had the best time playing with all of them and Jennifer sent plenty of photos and updates. We will absolutely use her services again I highly recommend her!”

About: I have provided care and enrichment for a variety of animals throughout my life, from hamsters all the way up to farm animals. I have had multiple jobs in animal care, acquired a bachelor’s degree that required multiple animal-related care internships, and have personally cared for many family pets in their own homes. I'M OFFICIALLY FULL-TIME IN PERSONAL PET CARE ☺️ If a pet parent is flexible with their schedule I can fit it around my other clients! Especially for walks or drop ins. I'm going full-time on pet care for a little while I am content to go for long walks or trips to a dog park, or just lounge around the house with the occasional trip outside all depending on what your pet prefers. I will follow all instructions on their meals and any meds they may have.
“I would 100% use Catherine again. She is so sweet and LOVES animals. She treated our Goldendoodle like one of her own. If you need a sitter don’t hesitate on using Catherine, You will feel very comfortable leaving your pet with her ❤️”

“Kristen did a great job caring for my 2 cats while I was on vacation. She came at the same time morning and night to feed and check on them. Very professional and responds right away I very much appreciated the peace of mind while I was out of town. Highly recommend!”

“Emma is amazing!! She took great care of our cat for a few days while we were on vacation. She provided us with very detailed reports of her daily encounters with our girl which really eased our nerves about leaving. She went above and beyond in many ways. Once by unplugging a candle warmer we accidentally left plugged in, and then she also noticed it was trash day and took our trash to the curb without us even asking. She also kept my plants alive which was a huge plus! Our stereotypical standoffish girl even warmed up to Emma by the end of the week, so it’s 10 stars from us and our cat, Forty. I would HIGHLY recommend Emma to anyone in the area looking for an experienced, caring, vigilant, and responsible caregiver for their pet. We would not consider booking with anyone else next time we’re away. Thank you for making it so easy to trust you with our girl, Emma!!”

“Our kitties were perfectly happy and content when we got back. It is such a relief that we can leave them in their home environment because of the trusted care she provides.”

“Winnie loved Ms. Lisa! Ms. Lisa was attentive and followed all simple instructions left and went above and beyond to take care of some unexpected pest infestation we had. She communicated everyday and sent photos of how Winnie was doing. I really appreciate the love to my girlie and Winnie appreciates the attention and love she recieved from Ms.Lisa.”

Perfect for high energy dogs - Lytle
“Tim and Kasia were amazing with our Oliver! We were nervous to leave him for the first time since adopting him, he’s goes to work with us every day and he rides with us nearly everywhere but our daughters play sports and we have long weekend days away from home. They sent videos of him running around with the other dogs playing and having a blast, which was great to see because he’s a total couch potato at home. When my husband picked him up he acted like he didn’t want to leave which is out of character for Oliver because he’s usually glued to us 24/7! He loved being there and they will be our first choice whenever we need care for Oliver.”

“Catherine and Hubby are a wonderful team. They both love animals and they take such good care of my fur baby, just like she's their own. If you need care I highly recommend THEM!”

“Kristin was amazing! We were from our of town visiting family and needed a last minute pet sitter and she was so quick to help us! Extremely accommodating and friendly! I will be recommending her to all my Ohio friends. Oh, and she gave us several pictures throughout the day of our little guy ❤️”

“Sabrina and her family were awesome, they were so good to Oliver and I know he had a blast because he came home and immediately passed out for the rest of the night! I definitely recommend Sabrina for all your pup watching needs!”

About: I own and care for a 3 year-old medium goldendoodle. He is energetic and always ready to play with any dog or human around. I have 2 years of dog training experience, including basic obedience training, and basic trick training. I grew up with a Brittany, so I am very familiar with the personalities and instincts of hunting breeds as well. I stay at home with my one year old son, so I am available during the week days, and for extended stays/overnight boarding. We would love to care for your dog! I have a fenced in yard for the dogs to run. I will provide your dog’s food and any medicines or care routines on your provided schedule, to maintain your dog’s familiar routine while in a new environment. I am flexible with your dog’s preferred sleeping arrangements— I have a large crate and a medium sized crate available if your dog is a crate sleeper, but my dog is allowed on furniture, so I will provide whatever your dog prefers. Family-friendly, non-aggressive, fairly sociable dogs are preferred, no age preferences or restrictions. My toddler LOVES dogs and will certainly run up to hug or pet the dog.
About: I grew up with animals and as a parent now love to share my love of animals With my children. I am Flexible and willing to be as accommodating as I possibly can for all the pet owners seeking assistance with their pets. I do this because I know how scary it can be leaving your pet somewhere and not knowing. I also know how scary it can be to leave your pet while you are away. I do my best to stay in contact with all my clients and offer plenty of photos. I am very versatile and have experience with a lot of different pets. I am active and love bringing the pets I care for along with me for walks or out around town (as long as the clients are comfortable) I want their experience in my home and with me to mimic their normal every day routine in their home. I feel that lessens their anxiety. It’s incorporated into my daily as I make adjustments. Normally if I need to go somewhere I am sure that I understand from the owners if their pet is able to stay out or if they would prefer that their pet be put in a safe place so they don’t decide to become mischievous while I run errands. I also offer the opportunity for them to come with me if they enjoy car rides. Again what’s most important to me is keeping the pets routine as closely aligned to their normal routine at home. In order to ensure that the pets I care for are happy and healthy while in my care I am sure to get a clear understanding of how their routine normally works and I ensure that I align their routine at my house to that. This helps alleviate anxiety and fear when being in a new place.
About: I enjoy helping friends and family with their pets and am looking forward to meeting your four-legged besties. Our family loves animals of all kinds. I am a STAHM to two littles so I am always available to spend time with your dogs, but we do require them to be kid-friendly. We recently had two older dogs who passed away so we are happy to get our dog time in before we commit to a new family pet. Our backyard is not fenced but we enjoy taking walks around the neighborhood! I took a break from dog sitting while my two littles were babies. Now I am staying at home with them and we love taking walks so I thought we would starting taking care of dogs again! We have an open floor plan house and a big yard, our yard isn’t fenced so we do lots of walks and just spending time together outside!
“Tara and her family provided a wonderful, safe, and caring daycare environment for my two small dogs. She is professional, kind, and thoughtful. I scheduled her right away to board my two dogs for an upcoming weekend trip.”

I can assure you that your pet will be in good hands with not only one, but two people in the house who work from home! They will be fed on a schedule just like my babies are, out to potty and for walks, play time with any toy they would like or they can even try the enrichment toys, bath time if they need one, and last but not least they can lay in their doggy bed or on my bed/couch! My fiancé and I currently work from home to be able to fit your pets schedule! With a commitment to you & your furry baby, my schedule is designed to fit their every need. About: I have always loved all kinds of animals and will care for your fur babies just as well as I care for my own. I grew up with a toy poodle though I would have loved to have more pets. Currently, my husband and I have two small dogs but I love dogs and cats of all sizes. I have experience with caring for older dogs as well as very young puppies. I am familiar with pad training and kennel training as well. I would love to take care of your pets and am more than willing to accommodate their needs! I stay at home full time with my 6 month old. So, my time for your pets is very flexible. I am also able to bathe and/or groom your dogs if that is a service you would like. I have a bath price set but I’m open to conversations about that and other grooming services you would like to add. I do all the grooming for my dogs including haircuts, nail clipping, and deshedding. I have two very friendly dogs, but I do have enough space/baby gates to keep my dogs separate from yours if necessary. I have a fully fenced backyard and a very walkable neighborhood. So, your dogs will have plenty of opportunities for exercise. My dogs are kennel trained and sleep with us in bed, but I will respect whatever pet rules you have in your home.
“Arlissa is THE best! My girl is a barker and she handles her wonderfully. Arlissa sends little videos throughout the stay so I can see how Valkyrie is getting along! So far Arlissa is the only Rover sitter I’ve used.I’m sure there are others that are good, but Arlissa is AWESOME!”

About: I have always had a dog in my life, which has given me a lifelong love for caring for animals. I enjoy playing with dogs, taking them on walks, and making sure they feel happy and comfortable. What sets me apart is that I treat every dog like family, not just as a job. I make sure their needs are met and that they feel safe, loved, and cared for at all times. I am also very patient with shy or nervous dogs and take the time to help them feel comfortable and build trust. I plan on dog sitting/ walking during all my breaks from school. I am free everyday during those breaks. The only thing that would get in my way is volleyball practices, but these are only 2 hours and not a daily thing. I make sure the pet feels comfortable around me and welcomes me into their house. If the pet is at my house I will also be welcoming and make sure they adapt to the environment.
About: Hi, I’m Trina. I’m someone who leads with compassion — especially when it comes to animals. I’ve been helping rescue and care for them since I was 13, and I still feel just as passionate now as I did when I walked into my first shelter. Whether it’s dogs, cats, rats, or any animal in need, I’m always ready to show up. I currently volunteer with my local Humane Society and have hands-on experience with everything from fostering and bottle-feeding to behavioral support. I’ve helped scared, sick, and overlooked animals feel safe and loved again — and there’s nothing more fulfilling to me. I’ve also been vegan since I was 13 because I believe in kindness toward all animals, not just the ones we share our homes with. My approach is calm, patient, and respectful. I know that trust takes time, and I never take that for granted. I’m new here and just getting started, but I’d truly love the chance to turn this kind of work into my full-time job. It would mean the world to me to earn your trust and be given opportunities to grow, help, and show what I can do. If you’re looking for someone who brings heart, care, and consistency — I’d be honored to work with you. I provide a calm, secure space, follow routines closely, give constant supervision, and treat every pet like my own—with patience, respect, and love. Adventure-ready dog walkers - Lytle
About: I have watched dogs ever since I was little. I started with a family friends two huskies. They loved to run in their yard and would come visit us on days that we weren't watching them by jumping the fence. When I was 10 or 11 we got our first dog and then we got another a few years later. My wife and I now have three dogs all of which are rescues. I can help with any animals so long as I have a few days heads up that you need help. I have experience watching pretty much every kind of pet from snakes to horses. If you need your dog, or even your cat, walked than I will be happy to help. I can even just stop by to make sure that everyone has a chance to go outside throughout the day. I can stop by and just sit with your pets or I can take them out into the yard and run or throw the ball with them. I am also happy to take them out on long or short walks depending on the pets needs and age. If anybody need medicine I have plenty of experience giving it to them as well as giving dogs physical therapy while recovering from surgery.
“Mckinzey has been great with our pup Coco. She has been reliable, professional, and patient with Coco’s hesitation and vocalization surrounding people she doesn’t know.”

“Valerie is awesome with my pup. Reliable, kind, trustworthy. I know whenever I book Valerie my pup is well taken care of. I am picky about who I choose to watch my pup and Valerie is always my first pick. Highly recommend!”
About: My husband Jeff and I have 2 dogs and no kids. Our dogs are our kids! Our dogs are about 2 years old and get along well with other dogs. Both of us grew up with dogs and have had dogs that are both young and senior. We give our dogs lots of time and attention. We are responsible pet owners and believe in keeping them healthy, loved, safe, and part of our pack! I am retired and my husband works part-time so one of us is almost always home to care for your pet(s). If we are gone for a few hours, our dogs are caged in the house. Usually, it is if we go out for dinner or the store, so it's for short periods. If your dog does not do caging, that's ok as long as they are good! We have a large fenced yard. Our 6 foot privacy fence also has wire mesh at the bottom of the fence to make sure dogs are safe and can't get out (or other animals get in). Our dogs are about 3 years old and get along well with other dogs. They love to play and are free to move in the house and the yard, and they get regular walks. Dogs are allowed on furniture. We would love to be your pet sitter while you are away, and you can be confident your doggie will be happy, safe and loved!

About: I have been a long time pet owner. On Oct. 17, 2023 I lost my little dog Neil. He was 12 years old and meant the world to me. He was my faithful companion and travel partner. Before moving to Ohio in November 2023, I spent the past 3 years living in Mexico volunteering with a rescue organization which gave me an even broader insight into caring for animals. I apply that knowledge and care to other animals. I am a mother and grandmother to humans, but I love my pets like they are my children. You can expect the same love, care and treatment of your pets when I care for them. I have experience with dogs and cats ranging from puppies/kittens to seniors; pets requiring medical care to very active ones. I’m certain that I can care for your fur baby, too. I am a stay at home grandma that has free time during the day making me available for drop-in checks, play dates and walks with your pet. Visits after 4pm can be arranged with advance notice. My time is my own, making it easy to care for your pet in their own home, be it for a day or for the length of your vacation. I will care for your pet at your home according to your specific instructions. I ask that pets be up to date on all vaccinations. Any food or treats that you would like your pet to have should be provided by you. I do not provide those due to the potential risk of allergies and/or special dietary restrictions your pet may have.

In order to ensure that the pets I care for are happy and healthy while in my care I am sure to get a clear understanding of how their routine normally works and I ensure that I align their routine at my house to that. This helps alleviate anxiety and fear when being in a new place.

“I would 100% use Catherine again. She is so sweet and LOVES animals. She treated our Goldendoodle like one of her own. We received text and pictures daily and she was super quick to respond whenever we checked in with her. If you need a sitter don’t hesitate on using Catherine, You will feel very comfortable leaving your pet with her ❤️”

“I highly recommend Sabrina. She kept our Chesapeake Bay retriever for five days while we attended a funeral. Her home is very nice; her dog runs are covered; and she has artificial grass in the runs, which are adjacent to the house so she can observe them. She has two huge yard areas for dogs to run and play. Most of all, she let our dog inside and treated her as part of her family. My dog was not stressed when she stayed there. Sabrina did not use crates, which is extremely important to me. She followed my dog’s feeding instructions and answered any questions that we had.”

“My dogs loved going to Rachel's house. They stayed for one night on a last minute booking. Rachel was very responsive to texts through the booking and stay, and even worked with us when we had car troubles and had to pick the dogs up later than expected. My dogs seemed very comfortable and happy there. I'd definitely use her again!”

“2nd time utilizing Amber and will continue to do so! I have no worries when I go out of town leaving my pup here. They spoil him rotten and send me all the pictures. They even tried a sound machine to calm him down during the storm which I thought was super sweet and took a last minute booking for me. Very grateful to have them as our sitter! Would absolutely recommend to everyone.”

“Josie had an excellent stay with Aparajita. I had received photo/video updates consistently each day during Josie’s stay. It was basically doggy vacation as there were other doggy friends for Josie to play with, along with plenty of yard space and she even got the splash pad out after finding out that Josie loves water. Aparajita was kind enough to give Josie a bath and wash the towels we sent along with her. Will definitely be booking again and I highly recommend booking with Aparajita!”
“Amber did an amazing job taking care of Beans (9 month old lab) for an entire week. She was prompt with updates and photos upon my request. I’d highly recommend trusting her with your pet.”
“Once again and as always, Alyssa was great! My guy has developed some dominance/reactivity issues since his last stay, she was still perfectly willing to take him and confident in her handling. She sent me a video after his drop off to help eaise my concerns. Will definitely use her again!”

“Susan was great and a huge blessing when our previous plans fell through! She was willing to do a last minute meet and greet and keep our 11 mo old pup during the New Years Holiday. It was super exciting when she sent photos the first night and let us know that he was adjusting just fine. We were glad he was in good hands!”
