He was very afraid & I definitely would've worried about him the entire time I was gone. “Emily is one of a kind. As it was our first time using Rover and having a puppy, we were a little shy about it at first, but Emily made us feel comfortable about everything! We did a meet-up a few days before scheduling to confirm it was a good match. It definitely was! She asked us many questions and also let us ask questions about everything, which made us feel more at ease. Not only did Misty and Brian accept a last minute request, they made the whole weekend amazing. I didn't once worry about my little guy because I received many photos throughout the day, with messages as well about how he was doing. It was obvious he was having the time of his life and even though it was his first time away from home, he didn't seem to mind whatsoever. They took wonderful care of him and I look forward to the next time he goes to them, because there will be a next time!!! Misty was also the only one of the several pet sitters I messaged in my desperate attempt to get someone to watch him, that wanted a meet and greet first. That's how you know she cares, because she wanted to make sure MY pup was comfortable. They genuinely care about dogs, and it shows through every message, through every picture and through every sigh of relief you will breathe knowing your baby is okay in their hands.
McKenzie is AMAZING!! My dog Charlee had some nasty hot spots before the visit and I was nervous about her care and leaving her behind but McKenzie went ABOVE AND BEYOND! Sending me pictures and updates, my sweet Charlee had a blast and feeling so much better! Will for sure book again!
I had a great experience with Helga. I left my Shiba Inu, Yami, in her care, and he warmed up to her much quicker than he usually does with new people. She provided frequent photo updates, which gave me peace of mind while I was away. It was clear that Yami was comfortable, happy, and well cared for throughout his stay. I really appreciated her communication and patience. I would definitely trust her with Yami again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and caring dog sitter.
Z is so tired! He came straight home and snuggled in on the couch with me after a night away at Jesika's. She's got an amazing place with a nice, shady, grassy area right out front for taking pups out and she's close to plenty of trails. I'd be more than happy to use her Rover services again.
Sally was amazing! We had never left our dog with someone he didn't know well and were worried how it would go, but she offered to do a meetup first to see how things went. The meetup went well. During Link's stay, she sent us pictures and let us know how he was settling in, keeping us at ease.
Doc and Heather were great sitters for Scarlet while we were out of town. Daily updates and photos showing Scarlet was comfortable and enjoying the time in their home. Having her in good hands takes away a lot of the worry while on vacation. Would recommend Doc and Heather anytime if you’re in need of good care for the pup.
Michelle and Stewie were the perfect match for my lil doggo. My dog Fiona is a little shy and awkward around new people. Michelle was great with giving fiona the right amount of attention and space so she could get comfortable. Her dog Stewie, on the other hand, seemed to get fiona right away made clear that they were going to be friends. According to the regular updates we received, Fiona was making herself at home and chillin' with her vacation pack without a thought for us (which is AMAZING for our sweet little rescue). Michelle also does day care in addition to boarding, so Fiona got some extra socialization with other four legged friends and had a blast! The videos and photos of Fiona, Stewie, and friends on walks or playing gave us a ton of joy and peace of mind that Fiona was in good hands. My wife and I are thankful we met Michelle and Stewie. They're definitely our first call the next time we need a dog sitter.
Iris did a great job with Tink (dog) & Leeli (cat)! She communicated very quickly and clearly, and was prompt, courteous, and professional throughout. She not only provided pictures, but she also shared her observations and insight for future boarding opportunities. (E.g.: reflections on how our cat integrated with two dogs, etc) We will definitely keep iris's name at the top of our list for boarding needs.
