“Stacey was excellent in every aspect during her drop in visits with our three dogs and cats. She kept a very close eye on a skin irritation that had developed on one our dogs and she updated us with pics daily. She was truly concerned with the health of our pets. We could not recommend her more. She is fantastic.”

“This is the second time I’ve asked Sydney to keep my cats company and she did not disappoint! I could tell they were happy and receiving a ton of attention with all the pictures she would send. Absolute best for peace of mind!”

“Linda was great! She watched our two dogs and they really seemed to love her. She sent some awesome videos and pictures and even played training games with our very timid boxer to get her more comfortable around her—and it worked! I’d highly recommend her!”

About: I've taken care of dogs of every kind since I was 10. Neighbors, friends, and family have relied on me to check in with, feed, and play with their pets. My dogs are my absolute world, so I know firsthand how important it is to treat every pet with the same love, patience, and attention I give my own. Whether your dog needs high-energy play, gentle senior care, or a reliable drop-in visit, you can trust they will be in safe, caring hands. Pet care is my full-time job, which means your pets will have my complete, undivided attention throughout the day. I have total flexibility with my schedule to accommodate custom feeding routines, high-energy play sessions, frequent potty breaks, and comforting companionship whenever they need it. I provide a safe, secure, and welcoming environment tailored completely to your pet's needs. Whether hanging out at my place or checking in at yours, I am vigilant about pet-proofing, keeping routines consistent, and handling any special care instructions with total responsibility so you can travel with complete peace of mind.
“Marsha is the best bar none! She was so loving, kind and attentive to my fur kids. Her notes and reports were wonderful and descriptive and made my absence much easier! Thank you Marsha!”

About: I’ve had pets for as long as I can remember. From dogs/cats to hampers and lizards, I’ve cared for them. Animals are my passion! It’s not just a job, it’s my life. I am currently home full time so I’m almost always available on weekdays and weekends. I’m very flexible and cooperative so I can work around different schedules. I have an active dog and 2 cats that I look after all day. I typically walk my dog once a day and he loves playing fetch so we do it off and on all day lol.
About: Most people see a cute, silly, playful baby, but we see that AND personality! Every animal has their own language, their own stories, and their own little world, and our job is to learn that world to help them feel safe, understood, and cared for while you’re away. Our names are Kaeli and Will, and we’re a young husband and wife animal care duo with years of hands-on experience working with peoples’ four-legged (or no-legged, two legged, or 6+ legged!) family members. We’ve worked professionally together in daycare, boarding, kennel care, and canine behavior environments, caring for hundreds of dogs with all different personalities, needs, and temperaments. Our experience includes: working with puppies learning the world around them, senior dogs needing extra patience and accommodations, large breeds and high-energy dogs, shy, anxious, fearful, and behaviorally complex dogs, and dogs requiring medication and specialized care. Through the years, we’ve gained a great deal of knowledge on animal behavior, body language, positive reinforcement techniques, enrichment, and creating safe interactions based on each animal’s comfort level. We understand that trust is earned, not forced. Our care experience also extends beyond dogs; we share our home with three cats, a large dog, and reptiles. We understand that every species communicates differently, and requires careful attention to their unique environment. We don’t just have professional experience though, in our younger years we each pet/ house sat whenever a family friend or neighbor needed the assistance. We are experienced with walks, drop-in visits, and overnight stays, feeding routines, refreshing water, enrichment, cleanup, oral medications and subcutaneous injections (between the shoulder blades), basic pet care needs and house-sitting tasks, cats who need patience and trust, and reptiles, amphibians, and other unique family critters! Our passion is getting to know WHO your animal is, so when you leave your sweet little baby with us, you have peace of mind knowing they are being cared for by people who notice the little things! We also have experience with some light grooming as well: baths, brush outs, nail trims (with a dremel and clippers), teeth brushing, and ear cleaning, so if you or your dog has a favorite shampoo, a preferred brush, or doesn’t mind a little nail trim, we can assist there as well! My husband and I are recently unemployed in the attempt to become self employed, so we have a completely open schedule and unlimited time to care for your pet needs! We are available for late night, overnight, frequent drop-ins, daily walks, and longer stays during the day. At our own home, we have a two bedroom duplex with a huge fenced in backyard that our big, goofy Pyrenees mix, Unagi, loves to patrol and hang out in several times a day. We also have lots of cat toys and towers/ scratching posts for our three cats to explore, play with, and have ultra fast paced races all around the house! In client’s homes, we conduct ourselves with the utmost respect, integrity, and professionalism- ensuring we follow all guidelines and expectations. If we were to have any comments, questions, or concerns we would let the client know with clear and respectful communication. In the case we would be spending the night or making late night visits, we would ensure a quiet and calm environment, taking into consideration any neighbors or sensitivities your pet in our care may have, and making sure your home is treated with the utmost dignity. This is YOUR space, and we want to help you have the most relaxing peace of mind you can achieve!
“Michelle is beyond amazing! She came through last minute to assist with my pets! I felt very comfortable with her and she assured me that everything would be fine. I would definitely use her services again!”

“Kaleigh was great with my dogs while I was away for the holidays! Check ins let me know everything was going good and she provided plenty of notes and photos as well. I felt confident my dogs were being taken care of and definitely treated with care and love. Would definitely recommend Kaleigh and will be hopefully booking in the future next time I’m out of town.”

“Christine is an amazing sitter! She always takes the best care of my boy when I am out of town. She even accepted a very last minute drop in when I had to go out of town unexpectedly. Highly highly recommend!”

Patient is very important when caring for any pet. I would love it as it was my own.

About: I’ve always loved animals and have experience caring for both dogs and cats. I grew up around pets and have also had a cat of my own, so I understand how different each pet’s personality and needs can be. I’ve cared for friends’ and family members’ pets over the years and genuinely enjoy spending time with animals. I’m patient, responsible, and attentive, whether it’s walks, playtime, feeding, cuddles, or simply keeping them company. My goal is to make every pet feel safe, comfortable, and loved while they’re in my care As a college student taking my courses online, I have a flexible schedule and plenty of time to give your pet the attention they deserve. I’m available for early mornings, evenings, daytime visits, and overnight stays. I provide in-home care so your pet can stay comfortable in their own space. I’ll follow your instructions closely, keep their routine consistent, maintain a clean environment, and keep you updated so you can feel confident while you’re away. I make sure every pet feels safe, comfortable, and cared for in their own home. I follow their usual routine and all instructions provided, including feeding, walks, medications, and playtime. I keep their space clean and secure, provide plenty of attention, and always communicate with the owner so they know their pet is happy and doing well.
“Ande was a great choice! She is very professional and responsive and provides great feedback and photos. Ande is also super nice and helps put nervous pet parents at ease. This was our kitties first time alone and I was completely comfortable that he was taken care of. Thanks Ande!”

“Alexis has totally put me at ease taking care of my two pups. They both have some quirks (anxiety and no concept of personal space) and meeting with her and seeing her intuitive nature, ability to read their body language, and strong communication + positive attitude gave me a lot of confidence in having her in my home with my boys. She sends lots of pictures and provides a full update - so happy to have her at home when we can't be there!”

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy.
