“Becca is amazing! I am a nursing student that just began 12 hour clinical days. I feel so much better knowing someone who truly loves my sweet babies is here for them during the day, letting them out, giving them pets and scritches, and boy do they love those treats!”

“Great communication. Coaxed my scardy cats out from their hiding places and took good care of them. Sent pictures at each visit and everything was kept clean and neat. We will plan to use Ariel again.”

About: With over 20 years as a devoted dog mom, my heart and home are open to your fur baby. I have a profound love for dogs and prefer them to people. lol- JK…ish🐾🤭 jokes aside, every dog deserves a place where they can be cared for, loved, and comfortable when their people have to be away. Offering that is a great responsibility I take pleasure in embracing. Raising my current Weimaraner’s, June and Pluto, from puppyhood, I’ve honed my skills in consistent, patient, and loving puppy training. I’m equally experienced with senior dogs, including those with mobility challenges or blindness, ensuring they feel safe and cherished. From the eye boogers to more serious issues, I’m always prioritizing your dog’s unique needs with honesty and integrity. My home features a large, fenced backyard and a cozy screened-in patio for relaxing together. With me working from home, your pup will enjoy constant companionship alongside June and Pluto, who love welcoming new pack members.🐾🤎 Working from home, I provide round-the-clock companionship for your dog. My flexible job lets me step away to play outside, cuddle indoors, or give pets and love throughout the day. Whether in our dog🐾approved large backyard, my couches, or even my bed, I’m always by your pup’s side, ensuring they’re never alone. June and Pluto, my 2 Weims are naturally gentle, playful, and welcoming to dogs of all sizes, from tiny paws to big goofballs. Dogs are masters at reading energy, and I promise your pup will feel safe, loved, and a genuine pack inclusion.🐾 Our backyard is great! It is a secure paradise for zoomies, fetch, and adventures—safe, private, and fun. When it’s time to wind down, our screened-in patio is the spot to relax together, soak up the breeze, and just chill…. or get the squeaky out of every toy 😆 We do have pool, but rest assured: I’m always vigilant and take precautions or jump in fully clothed without hesitation- seriously, no worries. To make your pup feel extra comfortable, please bring their favorite daily essentials (bedding, blankets, crate, toys, food, etc.). I have plenty of backups on hand if needed, but nothing beats their own familiar smells! 🐾 Every stay is tailored with all my heart to your dog’s unique personality and routine. Your pup will have constant companionship, warm welcomes from June and Pluto, and never a dull (or lonely) moment. *and they will comeback to you bathed if needed* Contact me for a safe, fun, loving stay—
“Matthew agreed to 3 visits a day for my pets while I had and recovered from knee surgery. During our meet and greet, I knew I had someone that I could entrust my babies. Matthew showed up promptly for all visits. He sent pictures of all the pets. My dog started to get depressed and he let me know immediately. We worked through that issue together. I was very fortunate to find a trustworthy person that I could rely on during a difficult time of recovery ❤️🩹 I highly recommend Matthew!!”

“Gabrielle continues to be our go-to for taking care of our cat! She cares deeply about the animals she takes care of, and is great at communicating. I highly recommend her.”

About: I’ve been around dogs since the day I was born, and love taking care of them. I have watched and walked dogs for friends and family off and on since I was 15. I’ve watched sweet senior dogs to energetic puppies. I have potty trained and leased trained my dogs and provided medications for dogs. I am Pre-vet major. I have school 4 days a week Monday to Thursday. I work around my class schedules which gives me a good amount of free time to check on the dogs I am taking care of. Having been around dogs all my life, I enjoy their company. I think dogs are our best friends and should be treated as such. I realize some dogs need lots of energy released and others not so much!
About: I worked as a vet assistant for 4 years while simultaneously going to school for veterinary technology! I quit in order to be a stay at home mom! I have two girls and two dogs! We have fenced in backyard where we like to spend a lot of time playing with our lab or relaxing in the sun! We live walking distance to the walking trail and we love to take the dogs on walks there in the early morning before it gets too hot! I am able to handle sweet puppies working on house training all the way up to senior dogs who need medications daily! I am a stay at home mom so I am always available for your dogs needs, whether it’s a morning walk or an afternoon fetch session! I have a fenced yard and two friendly dogs who love new friends! My dogs have their own beds but half the time they end up in my bed! We love cuddling our pups!
About: I’ve grown up around animals my whole life. I have been with inside dogs to outside. No size scares me and have dealt with dogs that have required full 24/7 care with timed medications. I’m currently a college student looking for morning work aside from my afternoon job. If you need a home sister or someone to check in on the weekends I am your person as-well! In your home, I follow the same standards I would for my own. Your dog is my top priority whether we’re snuggling, playing fetch or tug-of-war, or enjoying a walk. I provide care with patience, attention, and genuine love, just as every dog deserves. You tell me what your dog needs and I will be there.
“Super attentive to my Peppa and eased my mind throughout my absence. Will absolutely book her again! Took plenty of pictures and videos throughout. She was so chill when I got home. Thank you again Carly!!”

“Morgan is phenomenal. I hired her in a pinch over Christmas to drop-in on my 2 dogs for 5 days. I learned while I was away that my Baby is more baby than I knew. Morgan handled the separation anxiety like a champ. I’d definitely hire her again.”

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Loxley
Becca always does an amazing job taking care of our senior dog. She sends updates after every visit and is extremely reliable and flexible when needed. It’s always hard to leave our Pongo, but having Becca makes us feel more at ease knowing that she’ll always take great care of him.

Becca is extremely reliable and great with communicating during and after visits. She has taken care of our two dogs multiple times and we have additional stays booked with her in the future. One of our dogs requires some extra care and attention due to his age and she’s great at making sure his extra needs are met!

Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Loxley. On Rover:
- 93% of sitters can help with special care needs
- 99% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 100% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
