About: I've been caring for cats on my own since I was 18. I know when to leave them alone (clean litter and do food/water, no hunting down) and when to engage them (the essential care, plus cat play time). I've been caring for my own dog for 10 years (GSD, way too clever) and have some experience with smaller dogs. I was able to meet a LOT of dogs in my last full time job, and I can't think of any breed I've been uncomfortable around. I currently travel occasionally to instruct about drug impaired driving, so my schedule is fairly wide open for any pets that need visiting or a good walk! I am a night owl, so don't be afraid to ask for late visits. I will make sure to follow any instructions or boundaries you lay down while I am dropping by your house. I will try to be as unobtrusive as possible and won't make myself at home unless you insist.

5. Quinn M.

6. Crystal L.
“Crystal is fantastic! My pups loved her the minute they met her. She's excellent at communication and knows exactly how to give my dogs the very best care. I'm so lucky to have her caring for my dogs.”
7. Kara F.
“I have been using Kara every day for the last two year with my dog, blue, who was a shelter dog. Blue was very skittish and afraid to let other people pet her. Now, not so much. I have noticed a tremendous change in her attitude and demeanor and she has become very loving and responsive to commands. I do not know what Blue and I do without her. Thanks, Kara. Dan S.”

About: I grew up with pets all my life, after joining the military I was unable to continuously bounce around with one. By dog sitting I am able to love your dog and enjoy my time with them and continue my career in the Military. I have a very flexible work schedule Monday-Friday. I have the option of working 0700-1100 or 1100-1600. I would work out specific time and dates with owner. I live in a house in Imperial Beach, I don’t have a big backyard but I do have an open space within my housing area.
9. Anna V.
“Anna is a very reliable pet owner herself and loves all animals! She would be a great companion for your companion! She has worked at the humane societies working with animals and helping to socialize them. She would be a fantastic dog walker!”
10. Kara R.
“Kara is extremely responsible as well as loving to our dog Bella. Bella gets excited to see her and Kara cares for her like we would. I feel extremely calm knowing that she is there to watch her while we are gone as Bella is a very anxious dog when routine is changed up. Kara is patient with her and we feel cery comfortable knowing she is there for her. We were grateful to find her and she has always been a big help when we travel.”
11. Victoria D.
“Victoria has been a dog lover for over 20 years. She has an unprecedented amount of love and passion for dogs. How do I know? I’m her father. She has an almost unbelievable gift for taking care of animals...especially dogs. When she very young, it was very prevalent that there was something extraordinary about her adoration for dogs. She got her big chance to shine when one day we brought home a chihuahua we named Princess. To be fair, Princess was to be equally shared with all three of my kids... the other two...Her older sister Elizabeth and her older brother Zack. They were supposed to take turns on which bedroom Princess would spend the night at. Elizabeth was the oldest and seven years older than Victoria, so she was first. It started out with Princess staying with Elizabeth, but sometime during the night little Victoria snuck out of her room and into Elizabeth’s room and in her older sister’s bed, so that she (Victoria) could be with Princess. Her brother Zack got his chance the next night, but he pushed her off the bed sometime during the night, and Princess ended up in Victoria’s room. From that point on, it was Victoria as young as she was fought for the right to have Princess stay with her...And stay with her she did...for the next sixteen years. Just recently Princess passed away. After 16 wonderfully loved and cared for years, Victoria had to give up her best friend. It was a very tearful moment, and I’m glad I was there to support Victoria. Although a great loss, Victoria had prepared for this moment and adopted/rescued a sweet dog named PC and later bought a dog of her dreams which a Dalmatian named Bailey full of energy and character. This made the transition better when Princess passed away, but Princess was not to be forgotten. Victoria not willing to forget Princess, even though she had two wonderful dogs to share her love and attention with, had a large and beautiful tattoo done of Princess on her left shoulder. It’s an amazing rendition of Princess. Aside from the love of her own dogs, Victoria has always jumped at the chance to watch and take care of her friends dogs. She has an amazing devotion to dogs...any dog. She is always talking about dogs. She is always on her phone looking at dogs...finding out new things about dogs. When she was younger, she used to tell me “when I grow up I want to do something for animals especially for dogs.” I told her that she needs to do what her heart is telling her to do. And, now that she proven herself with her own dogs and with dogs of other dog owners, I fully support and recommend her to any dog owner that is looking for the best possible care for their own dog or dogs. Victoria is top notch when it comes to the best possible care , love, and devotion to animals...especially dogs. You will not be disappointed when you put your dog or dogs in her more than capable hands. Give her a chance and I guarantee you that you’ll love how she cares for your dog...so much so...that you won’t hesitate to tell your friends about her. She is simply that amazing when it comes to taking care of dogs...and she’ll be that amazing when she takes care of your dog(s).”

About: Hi! I am a very kind, patient, caring animal lover. I understand your fur babies are your world and I intend to provide the best care possible for them while you are away. I currently have two cats but I grew up with multiple pets as a child and have had 3-4 animals at one time (both cats and dogs). I am a very reliable, trustworthy, responsible person and I have years of experience with feeding, giving pets their prescription medications, walking, and following a strict schedule your pets may be on. I am a full time nursing student and work PRN but I will always make time for your pets! I love walks, cuddles, and playing with animals and I can’t wait to care for your pets!

About: We have a grumble of two pugs, two kids (6 and 7). I work from home so I have the time to take them out all day. We have had our pugs since they were babies, except for our late rescue who became paralyzed and needed our help with both urinary and fecal expression, as well as medications administered. We are experienced with puppies to older special needs dogs. We do not, at the time, feel comfortable with having aggressive breed of dogs in our home with our grumble of pugs or our children. We have a ranch home with no carpet, it is a very pet friendly home with a fenced yard as well. We are happy to help you with your fur babies too!~ We do require that you bring belly bands that fit your male dogs so that they don't mark in the home. We can change the pads in them, but we prefer that you bring a belly band that fits them with you for your stay. Thank you for understanding. I’m always home other than quick trips out to run the kids to sports or errands as I work at home so able to take them out very frequently Our yard is fenced and extremely dog and kid friendly! Our dogs are a bit older but our kids love to keep younger dogs busy too!

About: I’ve taken care of pets ever since I was 10 years old. I am detailed and loving, enjoying every minute of my time with the animals I care for. It energizes and excites me to care for animals-each pet is unique and spectacular in their own right. I’m currently in nursing school part-time, so pet care fits perfectly into my schedule. I am more energized by taking care of each pet personally and lovingly than earning the income. When I enter in your home, I’ll ask you to give me a tour of your pet(s) favorite toys, dog beds, blankets, play areas, and areas you’d like to avoid your pet getting into. I never want to assume, so we can talk about what trouble your pet likes getting into (shoes, garbage, clothes, etc.).

About: I have a shetland sheepdog named Bandit he is only just a year old and so rambunctious and is eager to always learn but is snippy at times. He is hyper and loves to play, I walk him twice a day an play with him for 2 hours per day and on the weekend I take him to a dog park to play with the other dogs he absolutely loves it. I’m good with special needs dogs if there are any I work with. I also work with horses and my hobbies include horseback riding and drawing. I also like music and I’m trying to get in shape so running with your dog should help me with that. I work full time right now and only have a few days of the week off but I’m a early riser and love to get the day rolling with a early morning walk with my dog. I always ask for vet info, address, name of clinic and a second phone number if I can’t get ahold of you I ask what your dogs quirks could be or if there’s anything that would catch me off guard.
