About: House sitting, dog walks, training and drop in visits for all pets. I have cared for animals my entire life, from dogs and cats to small pets. I am actively training dogs with structured leash and behavior support during walks. I have raised puppies through two litters, so I understand the patience, attention and care they need at every stage. Animals have always been part of my family, loving companions and treated as such. I treat every pet I meet as I would treat my own. Whether it's walks, playtime, or keeping them comfortable in your home, I provide dependable, loving care that keeps tails wagging and the owners at ease. I know dogs thrive on routine, so I'm happy to provide weekly care at consistent times; walks, play or just someone to sit with while you're at work or on vacation. Premium overnight care for pets who deserve a calm, experienced caregiver. Thoughtful communication, respectful home care, and personalized attention while you're away. Daily walks are part of my own health and wellness routine, and caring for pets fits right in. Sadly, my own dogs have passed, and the right one hasn't come into my life yet. Until then, I would love the chance to share my time, energy and affection with other's people pets. Dogs especially bring me joy, and walking them keeps both of us happy, active and cared for. I'd like your dog to know me as their regular walking buddy. I follow each pet parent's instructions closely and respect their home. My focus is on your pet's safety and comfort, and well-being so you can feel confident they are cared for while you're away. I am available for consistent weekly walks, drop-ins, and over night house sitting.
“Mackenzie is absolutely the best! We have asked her to watch our cat Fuzzy on multiple occasions and she exceeds our expectations every time and our cat loves her! Mackenzie is professional and we can tell she really loves caring for our cat. We highly recommend her!”

“Ashley was fantastic! I didn't feel any fear or anxiety with her taking care of Apollo. I loved the photos I got and the little report card he got each day. Thank you again and I hope to use you again in the future.”
“Everything seemed to work out pretty good on our end. Murphy was happy! Thanks for this first experience with Rover and we will be using this service and you hopefully again! Thanks!”

“Heather took very good care of my cats and turtle while I was out of town . She is very professional and thorough with her care for animals. I would recommend her services !!!!”

“Alyssa was absolutely amazing! From coming over for a meet and greet to get to know my two Frenchies to being very attentive when I was explaining all the different foods and directions to tend to them. She was very professional, on-time + treated our dogs like her own. We will be using Alyssa every time we can.”

“Sydney provided drop in visits at my home for 8 cats…yes 8 cats. She was professional and attentive to details. She demonstrated effective communication skills and kept me up to date on the day to day activities of her care of my babies. Sydney is kind and compassionate and will ask for her services in the future. If you are looking for someone to care for your animals that you can trust, contact Sydney…🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟”

“Mandy did a wonderful job caring for our cats. She spent quality time with them each day and made sure medications were applied correctly. We would highly recommend her for any pet sitting needs.”

“April is incredible. She was so patient with my dog, Mari who is a very nervous girl. She gave me updates all along the way and sent me photos. 10/10 would recommend!!!”

“I booked Hannah after my neighbors recommended her services. She took just as much care and attention with my cats as she does with their dog. She took initiative to brush my heavily shedding orange tabby, and even vacuumed after. She also cleaned up some cat barf (sorry Hannah & thank you!). I highly recommend her services. She clearly loves animals and wants to ensure they’re happy and healthy.”

About: We have a grumble of two pugs, two kids (8 and 9) I work from home so I have the time to take them out all day. We have had our pugs since they were babies, except for our late rescue who became paralyzed and needed our help with both urinary and fecal expression, as well as medications administered. We are experienced with puppies to older special needs dogs. We do not, at the time, feel comfortable with having aggressive breed of dogs in our home with our grumble of pugs or our children. We have a ranch home with no carpet, it is a very pet friendly home with a fenced yard as well. We are happy to help you with your fur babies too!~ I’m always home other than quick trips out to run the kids to sports or errands as I work at home so able to take them out very frequently Our yard is fenced, scenic view on a large pond, and extremely dog and kid friendly Our dogs and kids love to keep younger dogs busy and senior dogs cozy. They will feel right at home during their stay with us!
About: Hi! I have cared for dogs technically my whole life since I grew up with them. When I went to college I got a dog of my own and have had another since then. I love going on walks and playing with dogs. I am a part time nanny, but go on a walk every morning, afternoon, and evening. On top of that I do potty breaks first thing in the morning and before bed. I have a puppy proofed home since I have a pup of my own. I don’t have a fence but know how to get a dog’s energy out by playing however their style is and am good assessing what a dog needs.
“Once again I have had a great experience with Crystal taking care of my cat. Her timeliness, care, and communications is what will have me hoping to be able to use her services whenever I need them!”

“Jasmine did a great job taking care of my two pups. Everyday they were happy and worn out when she left, all their needs having been met. Communication was excellent, I never had anything to worry about. Jasmine was friendly and professional. 👍🏻👍🏻”

I can follow any instructions given and make sure your pet has the best care. I have loved on animals my whole life and know the care each one deserves to have.
“Alexa was great with my elder kitty. Normally she doesn't like new people and hides from anyone who isnt me, but with Alexa she came up to her and even ate a treat right out of her hand. Check ins were all prompt and she took the time to try to play with her each day in addition to making sure she was well fed and had a cleaned box.”

About: Hello everyone! My name is Samantha, I am 26. I have helped at humane societies since I was 15. I have fostered, volunteered and transported every type of animal you can think of. These animals have had numerous different reasons they needed my help whether it being they were sick, injured or in an emergency situation. I would help with getting them healthy and get them ready to be adopted. I have had many dogs throughout my life therefore, I understand the time and care required for them. I will care for your beloved pet in your home or mine following all your wants and needs! I look forward to hearing from you all! I currently work from home therefore I can bring my work with me and cater to the pets schedule they are used to. I will follow the schedule the owner gives me and feed/ walk when they typically do. When I had a dog I would typically take my dog for 3-4 walks a day and I like to make sure at least one is around two miles so she gets a good workout in! I have a fenced in yard and my dog liked to lay out and I let her out back whenever she looks like she wants to go out as well. This is just the routine I've found makes my dog the happiest but l'm open to any schedules the dog I'm taking care of has!

Mackenzie was amazing with our cat Fuzzy! She provided us with updates and photos each time she visited and she really took the time to bond with our cat. The care she provided gave us the opportunity to be away from our home and the confidence to know Fuzzy was receiving excellent care. We will definitely be asking Mackenzie to watch Fuzzy again and would highly recommend her as a pet sitter.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Lowell. On Rover:

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
