âIâm so happy we found Laura. My pup gets super excited when we are pulling up to her home. He is always tired when he gets home which means he has so much fun with Laura and her family! From daily walks, to multiple pictures throughout the day, to special feeding needs, Laura takes care of it all. Highly recommended!â

âMax took great care of Rocco while we did some sight seeing in Bentonville. He had plenty of dog friends for Rocco to play with. I would recommend Max for anyone looking for dog daycare.â

About: Hello, I own 6 ferrets, 2 cat's, a dog, a snake and a bird. I've owned animals my entire life and love all animals. Im a sucker for big dogs and especially Rottweiler's and Pit bulls. I don't mind house sitting and letting them out multiple times a day and walking them so they don't get to bored or lonely. I'm also happy to scoop litter boxes and play with cats or ferrets (I'm also a sucker for these little heathens). Also more than comfortable feeding any scaley friends. I don't have any problem with any animals, I've never met a dog I didn't love and I'm looking forward to hanging out with your fur babies. If you have any questions feel free to contact me.
âResponded very quickly to a very last minute request to watch our dogs. Provided regular photos and was quick to reply throughout their whole stay. Highly recommend!! Thankful to have found Elsy.â

About: I have experience in taking care of pets ever since I was 5 years old. I have the most experience with taking care of dogs with feeding, bathing, walking, and training. A pet is a family member and will be treated as such. I work from home every day and am able to freely care for your furry friend throughout the day and attend to their needs as needed. I have 3 kids who also love dogs. I am open all week and will make sure your pet is considered part of the family when taking care of them. I do not have a fenced-in yard but will walk your fur baby daily. We go out 3 times a day every day and have play time or stimulation such as lick mats daily.
âEric was so cute with Coco. He made she she felt special by walking her twice and feeding her lots of snacks. He put up with my changing schedule and was sound about accommodating me. Highly recommend!â

âHarriet is absolutely wonderful!! Sheâs great at communicating and sends lots of pictures. Something that really makes her stand out is the love and care she gives to the dogs in her care. She treated my puppy like a part of her family, and I could see how happy and content he was when I picked him up. Weâve had many bad experiences with sitters on Rover, weâre so happy to have finally found an amazing sitter!! I couldnât recommend her more!â

About: I'm a colon cancer survivor which fur babies have helped me through a lot I'm all about them and taking care of them because they have been all about me throughout my sickness.... Now that I'm a little better I want to give back to the unconditional creatures that gave to me in a time of need...I've had Weimaraners in my household for over 15 years and have had other fur babies and animals before that throughout my life, this chance that I could have to provide the love and care for the parents of those fur babies that need it. My spouse and I are also frequent flyers at the local dog parks in the area I would love to be able to take your fur baby for a walk or more! I'm home more than not so I've got plenty of furbabe time! I only work part-time so I'm home most of the time to take care of them I have 2 Fur babies of my own to keep yours company, lots of room for play, with a lot of love! No worries for the furparent!
About: Iâve had pets my whole life, and caring for animals has always come naturally to me. Iâve owned both cats and dogs over the years, and I currently have three sweet dogs of my own, two Golden Retrievers and a Great Pyrenees mix. They are all very friendly and love meeting new furry friends. I also have experience fostering dogs from shelters, where Iâve worked on potty training, crate training, and helping dogs overcome challenges like reactivity with people or other pets. Iâm comfortable with dogs of all sizes, from small breeds to dogs over 100 pounds. I have experience with all life stages, from very young puppies, even bottle feeding age, to senior dogs up to 14 to 16 years old. No matter the pet, I treat every animal in my care with patience, love, and lots of attention so they feel safe and right at home. I work full time Monday through Friday from 8am to 5pm, but caring for pets is naturally part of my daily routine. My mornings start early, around 6 to 7am, with potty breaks followed by breakfast around 7am. Throughout the day, I provide additional potty breaks based on each petâs needs, typically late morning from 10 to 11am, mid afternoon from 3 to 4pm, and again in the evening from 7 to 8pm, followed by dinner around 8pm. We always end the day with one last potty break before bedtime. On weekends, I am home more often, which allows for extra attention, walks, and playtime. I am very flexible and adapt to each petâs individual needs, treating every visiting pet as if they were my own. I prioritize consistency, comfort, and making sure every pet feels cared for and at ease. In my home, pets are cared for just like my own three dogs, with lots of love, attention, and a consistent routine. I make sure they are fed on time, always have fresh water, get regular potty breaks, and have plenty of playtime, walks, or cuddle time depending on their personality. I pay close attention to each petâs routine, comfort level, and any special needs so they feel safe and at home. When I care for pets in a clientâs home, I stick as closely as possible to their normal routine to keep things familiar and stress free. This includes feeding, walks or potty breaks, playtime, crate routines, and giving any medications if needed. I also send regular updates and photos so you can feel comfortable knowing your pet is happy and well cared for while you are away.
âJojo had a great day. It had been about a year since Elizabeth had watched Jojo but she remembered him fondly and when he saw her home he was instantly excited as he could still remember having a great time. Will definitely have to book some more visits this summer as Jojo has such a great time.â

âWhere do I even begin! Luca had the BEST time with Barbara. I was on vacation and needed someone to help my husband with our puppy, and Barbara was incredible from the start. She responded quickly, and we even got to meet her and her dogs beforehand. Luca didnât want to leave! hahaha! Thank you so much for taking such great care of our baby.â

âCaroline was amazing with Newton. Communication was super easy, and Newton clearly loved being there. She has a lot of space, and he came back happy, calm, and really relaxed. Honestly, thereâs nothing better than seeing your dog that at ease after daycare. Would definitely book with Caroline again.â

Sitters on Rover can offer flexible scheduling, so you can coordinate times that work best for you and your petâwhether thatâs early drop-off or later pick-up to match your Lowell commute.
If your schedule changes, itâs best to let your sitter know through the app as early as possible. Many sitters can adjust pick-up and drop-off times when needed.
Think of doggy day care as your dogâs fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.
A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.
Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:
- For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0â7 kilograms and/or 7â18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
- For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pupâs socializing needs.
- For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.
Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dogâs pack, check the sitterâs profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dogâs vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitterâs care.
Many sitters in AR ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, youâre adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justiceâs National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Roverâs commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
