About: I’m a full time dog mama myself and I have put my own dog through intermediate level group and individualized training, I’ve learned a few tricks throughout these trainings and love helping dogs stay happy and healthy. I have experience taking care of other dogs, I can groom and help train your dog simple tasks as well. I have frequent availabilities throughout the week to take care of your pet’s needs. High energy dog? I’ll run with them. Affectionate dog? I’ll cuddle them! Any and every breed is welcome. I am easy to reach for any inquiries or “pupdates”. I understand the importance pets have as part of the family and I strive to take care of your four legged family member to the best of my ability! I am currently available on evenings and weekends for your pet’s needs! I can meet up with your buddy in the morning, afternoon, or even evening! I am currently not offering services in my home but am happy to meet your furry friend at yours for a walk or check in!

About: I've taken care of pets professionally since I was college-aged, worked in 2 kennels with additional care given via baths, nail trims, etc. Have also owned dogs and cats all throughout my life. Comfortable with all sizes. I work from home, so I'm available all day to take care of your pet! I have a 1 year old black Labrador who is so sweet and loves to play, so hopefully they can wear each other out! I have a fenced yard and a black Lab that is very sweet and friendly to keep your pet company! She's probably more excited to see them than I am! You can expect frequent potty breaks, administered medicine I'd needed, and lots of playing!

“Rebecca was AMAZING and made us feel very comfortable leaving our pets at home while we went on a quick family trip. We will certainly be asking for her help again in the future!”

“Sofia rearranged her schedule to take my last minute request for a dog sitter to stay with my dogs in my hotel room while we ate dinner. Since one of my dogs is special need, I need someone like her who I could trust to know how to handle those needs. There was great communication and I felt totally confident leaving my dogs with her.”

“Disha has taken care of my two cats several times and I trust her with them completely. She maintains contact when I travel and sends update photos. When they first met her, they took to her right away and everytime she takes care of them, I know they will be happy and well taken care of. She also does considerate things like picking up mail/packages and when needed, feeds the fish as well. I feel confident in her judgement and actions in daily care and if an emergency arose. My pets are part of my family and I am careful in my selection of caretakers. I highly recommend Disha! I continue to call on her whenever I need pet care.”

About: I’ve grown up on a farm, caring for various types of animals including dogs, cats, horses, hamsters, guinea pigs, and fish. I have years of experience working at animal shelters and clinics which makes me prepared for any type of situation. I’m skilled in providing loving, reliable care for all animals, big and small. I’m currently working part time during the week so I’ll have plenty of time to take care of your pups in early mornings or after 2 pm. Weekends are completely available. Ensuring a safe, calm, and comfortable environment is my priority. I’ll make sure your pup feels secure and happy while under my care, providing them with all the attention and safety they deserve!

About: I’ve lived with dogs and cats my whole life. I currently have three Portuguese Water Dogs. I train and handle them in multiple dog sports such as agility and dock diving. I am semi retired after selling my business a year ago. Not one to sit still for too long, I think pet caregiving is a great avenue to channel my energy. My schedule is very flexible so I can work this in. I am very safety conscious. At my home we have a fully fenced yard. When out walking, I am always aware of surroundings and what might trigger a pet. I aim to be proactive and in control at all times

“Alexia was the best! Very professional and caring. She watched our (anxious) hound when we were on vacation in Harper’s Ferry. We are from another state, didn’t know the area and didn’t have definite plans until we arrived. Alexia was flexible and understanding. She responded to text quickly and followed all directions. Most importantly our dog loved her! She is a gem. Highly recommend!!”

“Colleen did an excellent job dropping in on our dog while we were away for the weekend. The text updates on how our dog was doing and what she did during the visits was much appreciated! Colleen is a true dog lover!”

About: I was raised on—and still help run—my family’s small farm, so animal care is second nature. From rabbits to horses, chickens to cows, and everything in between, I’ve worked with just about every kind of animal. I’ve also had dozens of dogs and cats throughout my life. My background in the Marine Corps means I bring discipline, strong communication, and a quick response time. If you ever have a question or concern, it’ll be handled right away. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priority. Pet care is already a natural part of my routine. I work from home with a flexible schedule, so I’m able to provide consistent and timely check-ins. My farm-kid instincts and Marine-level discipline keep routines tight, and I cap the number of pets I accept so no animal ever competes for my full attention. Animals have always been woven into my day-to-day life—caring for them isn’t a task, it’s a rhythm I’m used to. I have a fenced yard and four well-socialized dogs who do great with visitors, but I only introduce pets if I’m confident it’s safe. I can easily crate if needed, and I’m happy to separate animals for a calm environment. Cleanliness, structure, and clear communication are my baseline—your pet’s safety and comfort always come first. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I treat the space with the same respect I’d want for my own—clean, quiet, and intentional. I follow all instructions carefully, keep mess to an absolute minimum, and make sure your pet stays safe, calm, and well cared for in their familiar environment.

“Danielle has done a fantastic job of dropping in and checking on our needy rescue pups during the day. From the visit pictures she provides we can always tell that our dogs are well taken care of and happy to see her. Great!”

About: Our little family (Nathan, Kelly, and our kids) are raising Huck, a 1 year old Yellow Lab. We’ve trained him and are found walking around town with him often. As dog owners, we know how much it means to us when someone we trust is able to watch our dog. Now we want to give the same option to other pet owners. While most of our experience is with dogs, my wife can also cat sit and we also have had a fish in recent years. We are laid back, but also have some active hobbies, such as hiking, kayaking and traveling. We would love to hang out, walk, play, and feed your pup in the comfort of his or her home, or welcome him or her to ours. In addition to Huck, Kelly and I rescued a reactive dog with separation anxiety and had him for several years. I grew up with a mini-Pom and also helped raise a golden retriever from a puppy. We also have many friends with dogs and sit for them frequently. We are very comfortable administering oral medication but since we will be bringing the dog around our family, the dog should not be aggressive or reactive. We are at home most days and we homeschool and work from home for several days throughout the week. We are happy to work with your schedule to support your pet. We love to play with dogs. Our kids have been around dogs since they were very young and love cats as well, although we don’t have one.

“What a fantastic sitter ! Couldn’t of asked for a better person to watch my Bentley ! Rachel went above and beyond and will be using her going forward for all our dog sitting needs !!!”

About: I have a reputation at the dog park for the dogs flocking to me as I arrive. I teach them to jump through the agility equipment and roll over. I run with them and give them plenty of scratches and hugs. Our late dog was my hiking companion along the C&O Canal (a five minute walk from our house), local segments of the Appalachian Trail, local parks and the woods and historic district of Harpers Ferry. I’m currently looking for daily opportunities to spend more time with dogs and provide the opportunities they need for exercise and human companionship. I’m very keen on early morning and evening walks during the summer but available most days. Our late dog was a shepherd/retriever mix,I regularly took her to the dog park to play with her friends or to run the short agility course I trained her to run when she was young. I am always on the lookout for poison ivy or possible tick habitats and careful to help the dog manage in potentially stressful situations along the way. I always stop at street corners and do not proceed until all cars have passed (even the ones that insist you go first) so that the dog will understand that we do not cross the street when cars are present.

About: I was born into an animal loving family. I grew up around dogs of all sizes and many cats. I personally have fostered and rescued pets. I often pet sit for family and friends, particularly a one family member who has 8 dogs covering the following breeds: Lab Pitbull/Lab Mix American Fox Hound mix English Bulldog Great Pyrenees Heeler/ Australian shep mix German Shepherd lab mix I have successfully walked these dogs together! I am a full time Social Worker Monday- Friday 8-4. Saturdays and Sundays I'm fairly flexible although I do have a second job. I am typically only busy for few hours if I am busy. I can pet sit during the week if you are in the city of Frederick as I can walk your pet before work just before 8am, midday at lunch, and then again at 4pm when I get off. I am open to accommodate unique schedules within reason. I will ensure you pet is walked and uses the bathroom during the walk. I pay attention to any concerns in the bowel movements. I will also ensure they have food and water per instructions.

“Karen was great with our new girl, Thelma. She came by for at least 30 minutes a day while we were at work and took for walks and gave her cuddles on the couch! We are very happy with her and would recommend her to anyone!”

About: I grew up with dogs. Taking care of them was part of my every day life and I loved our time together. Now, as a mom to one kid and a dog, I love spending time with the animals. We are an active family and enjoy spending time outdoors with our dog, Bruno. We have an outdoor yard and enjoy frequent walks in our neighborhood. We also love to visits the dog park. I believe all animals need fresh air, exercise, love and positivity. I don’t work over the summer and am opening up our home to other animals who are in need of a caring home for a day, weekend or week or two. Please reach out with any questions and I hope to meet your furry friend soon. I look forward to having your dog join our family, whether it is for a day, a week, or longer! I am a teacher and am home all summer. This is my summer job. I walk the dog three times a day. We play fetch and tug. I would do the same for your dog. I can board dogs who are crate trained, or well behaved. Bruno gets along well with other dogs. I have a large home where dogs have room to play. We also take trips to dog park for off leash time. I have Bruno, who is very friendly and playful.
